Two visits to Blain Park in a three-day visit to Visalia! Kids love the various play structures, esp the«spinny ring». I like that I can sit in one place and see everything. I don’t love the bathrooms, but at least they exist.

If you need to let your kids run wild this is the place. Large grass area and fun equipment to play on. Only downfall is that their is a busy street fairly close to the play area. Only 1⁄3 of the benches gave shade covering them. Definitely can see if getting hot if you don’t wander over to the grass to sit. Next time I will being my fold up chair! Other than that I really liked this park! My kids enjoyed it too

My kids and I love this park. The playground is pretty small compared to others. My kids love the spinning wheel! So much fun. We also love the walking path and huge field!

With a river running on the edge of this park, tons of fluffy green grass and tall trees, Blain Park is a sanctuary in the middle of Visalia. There are 2 picnic/BBQ areas, each with an arbor-covered picnic tables and a large BBQ grill. Each picnic/BBQ area also has it’s own small parking lot close by. There is a large flat field in the middle that was used for frisbee, football and even a volleyball game. There is also a large playground for children with slides, etc. There are 3 restrooms that are nice for a park but did get stinky by the end of the day with a couple hundred people in the park. Blain Park is located in the midst of a housing development. I think the park must have been there first and the houses sprouted up around it. City police did cruise through both parking lots twice during the day so everyone felt safe. The dogs that we saw were all on leashes. There was no trash or grafitti. It was a great place for a Memorial Day family picnic. The web address was too long for the Unilocal field —
