If I could give negative stars, I would too. My husband and I were REFUSED service today because we «pulled in the wrong direction.» How do we have any control as to what side our gas tank is on? Not to mention the fact that people do not pull forward like they are supposed to. I have never ever had this happen to me at this station before. I will never go to there again. Never. I’ll run out of gas and push my car home before giving them another dollar. And I will make it my personal mission to let anyone and everyone know how horrible this valero is.

BADCUSTOMERSERVICEANDNOTTHEONLYSTATIONINTOWN! I’m new to town and this station is close to home/work. I’m heading southbound on Akers and pull in, finding that 4 pumps are available. I have a small car, so a couple maneuvers and I backed in. The machine wouldn’t take my card. I took cash to the cashier and said the normal«$ 30 on pump 1». She rudely told me, «this is a one way station and I can’t take your money». At first, I didn’t even know what she was talking about. I said that I had never been there and didn’t know. She continued to refuse my money and I told her that I would just go somewhere else. There didn’t seem to be any concern for that. I would have appreciated at least a warning like«next time…», but to just refuse service? well, you’re not the only game in town, so NONE of my money will you EVER see.

Same thing happened to us today. We read Lon’s review only minutes after we had an issue here :( We were in need of a quick fill up and figured this valero was reasonably priced. We see an open pump, we pull up, tried the outside pump credit card reader… Didn’t work. So I head inside and ask to put $ 70 on pump #5. Woman rudely says«you cant buy gas here until you turn your truck around!» I responded with«oh, sorry I didn’t see any signs posted, can i pay and then turn my truck around?» Woman replies«No» I left it at that. Jumped in my truck and went elsewhere for gas. Their loss. This was my first time stopping here, and my last. Its a shame, we were in the market for a regular fill up spot since the north side of Visalia does not have many options for cheap gas. Looks like we can cross Valero off.

If I could give a place negative stars, this would take the cake. I pulled up around noon today and the place is packed, on lanes 2 and 4. I throw the jeep in reverse, back into lane 1 and the card reader says see attendant. I go inside and say something is wrong with the reader, the lady behind the counter says in a tone«you need to pull your car in the right way facing forward». I say your hoses won’t reach if I pull in forwards, they barely reach if you do go in the correct way. She says then you’ll have to get in line with everyone else and face forward. I laughed and told her nope, that’s the best thing about being in America, I can choose to take my business elsewhere, and so I did. It may have only been an 18 gallon fill up, but I won’t ever patronize Valero again. J. Gottlieb approved this message
