Stacy Woodard, my Wife’s Stylist, is unreal! She can do amazing things with cuts and colors. The shop is clean, the environment is friendly and Stacy always offers refreshments to help the time pass by! So even for a husband sitting down board out of his mind… At least he is in good company with a beer or wine in hand. If he doesn’t want to be there, there is a bar a few doors down too, so it’s all good!
This salon is an A+!

Went to Vanessa on a whim– and so thankful I did! Color the first time, and cut and color the second. Her blow outs seriously last a week!

I have never gotten my hair professionally done before. It always made me nervous because my hair is kind of unique-​naturally very curly like ringlets, but I wear it straightened all the time (NO chemicals, just flat iron!). I honestly wasn’t sure which salon would be able to accommodate what I was looking for without destroying the natural texture of my hair. Also if someone messed up, it’s not something easily fixed which made me weary.
I was referred here by my BFF who had been going to see Ashley E. for years. After about 2 months of convincing I finally made an appointment.
Day of my appointment, was greeted by the friendly front desk girl. I was brought back and seated next to Ashley who was finishing up a client. We discussed what I was looking for, which was very vague as I don’t know terms and have never done this before. She was so helpful! Pulled up pics on her phone to help me decide on a color, discussed cut and overall style.
The finished product is so amazing! Exactly as I wanted it to be, even though I didn’t know how to explain it. The staff are so friendly as well!!!
There’s a sign at the register that says something like «come in as a guest, leave as a friend,» and that is exactly how I felt!
Will definitely be back! I’m getting married in April and I’ve found my hair stylist

I have been going to this HBS for the past several years and I really like the salon. I usually go to one hairstylist. but I wanted to get a perm. So, I needed to see the only hair stylist in the salon that does it. Anyway, I went for consultation and showed her what I wanted. She told me that there was not a problem. Finally, my appointment came and I was nervous as heck! but she assured me everything will be fine and she was excited. It took 4 hrs. not complanning about the time… I had perms before, so I know it takes time. After, she took off the rods. I noticed some pieces weren’t curly and the curls weren’t what I expected at all. I should of known the rods she was using on my hair. weren’t going to hold. they kept popping off. she kept telling me okay if they don’t lock. as long is curled up. Then I noticed she used a curling iron to enhanced my curls. what hairstylist does that. after you just had a perm. My hair is damage and ruined. I been curling my hair with a flat iron for the past 2 yrs and I thought by getting a perm was easier. I was totally wrong. I still have to curl my hair after I paid $ 230! IF you ever get a perm. stick with old school rods. they work best. Live and learn! I am very sad and disappointed on the way my hair looks:(

I loved the atmosphere of the salon, the receptionist was really sweet. The salon is very modern looking and clean.
However, I am SO upset at the haircut I got from Shauna. When I went in I told her that I’m getting married this coming July and I need to grow my hair out as long as possible so I didn’t want to lose too much length. She did good about not taking off too much length HOWEVER she decided to do this technique called «thinning» without asking me. So now I have less than HALF of the thickness than what I use to have so trying to put it up (which is the one thing I said I needed) is almost impossible and I have hairs on my head as short as 2″!! I will not be going back.

I think I just got unlucky… had to reschedule three times. And I think I ended up with a stylist who was very new to the profession. She didn’t do even remotely close to what I wanted, it was obvious she didn’t get along with the other stylist, and I got the most basic and elementary of hair cuts. When she asked how I wanted it styled, I said «just a blow out is fine, nothing fancy». So she proceeds to run her fingers through my hair with the blow dryer on. I was horrified. I asked her to run a flat iron over the ends just so I could go in public. I paid and left… trying not to get super emotional about a «bad salon visit» because I didn’t want to be «that girl». Once I got in my vehicle, I looked at my hair in my mirror and started crying! Her foils *lowlight* had bled, I had very spotty color, and it was ridiculously uneven.
I made two attempts to contact the owner of the salon, including an email with pictures attached of my hair. I never heard back.
I was so disappointed. A salon visit is a treat for me, and when I saw how great the reviews were for this place, I was beyond excited. I really hate that it turned out the way it did. But this stylist should not be employed at a salon of this level, and I would have hoped I would have gotten ANY sort of reply in response to my email.

I was amazed at how comfortable yet upscale the salon was, Sarina dId an AMAZING job on both my daughters and myself. Oldest is extremely picky about her hair and was. over the moon excited with the end result! Sarina was sweet, kind and patient with all 3 of us. Can’t wait to go back for our next appointment. Girls day was a SUCCESS

I am so happy that I found this salon! I am always hesitant on getting my hair colored, particularly when it comes to ombré and balayage. It takes a very skilled stylist to really get the technique down and the stylist I went to, Justine, made my hair look incredible.
I really appreciated how she took the time to get to know my hair and understand how I wanted my hair done, which many stylists don’t do. She was extremely personal and I was able to trust her with my hair easily! Yes, her prices may be on the higher side, but when you consider the time and quality she puts into your hair, it is TOTALLY worth it. I would rather pay more for someone to do my hair correctly the first time than paying less for an «ok» hair style. Justine is very knowledgable when it comes to hair, so definitely be honest with her when she asks what sort of history has been done to your hair! Take her advice when it comes to hair care and do your research on how you want your hair done before you do a consultation with her. When you know what style you would like, it would at least give her will an idea of what needs to be done or give you advice on the style you want to achieve.
I’m happy to call this salon my new home and I’m even more ecstatic that I met Justine. I can’t wait to come back to this salon and thank you for making my hair look AMAZING!

I’ve been coming to HBS for a couple of years now after I needed some new life in my hair! I had read the great reviews on Unilocal and thought I’d check this place out.
The salon is well appointed with Paul Mitchell products as well as some cute fashion finds. Ashley is the AMAZING stylist/​Paul Mitchell expert that has total hair control, everything she does to my hair makes me feel beautiful!
If you’re looking for a new hair «home», this is the place to beat!
