Shane has helped me become a much better road cyclist thanks to the supplements he has suggested. Vitargo is something I had never tried or heard of, and now will not ride without it.
Their prices, advice, and support are worth me driving up from San Diego for.

I would like to thank Nutrition Zone for putting quality employees in their buildings. I am a novice to training, proper nutrition & supplements. Some times you could walk into other supplement places & feel intimidated or like your just a sale. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the Nutrition Zone in Vista & was greeted by Ryan. He didnt push any supplements. He LISTENED. I came for just a time released Protein blend. He helped me. But, in the course of purchasing, I found out, how knowledgeable he was. Again, he didnt push anything. But after listening to his expertise I purchased some other vital supplements for my personal nutrition, that would help me reach my specific goals. I would HIGHLY recommend Nutrition Zone to anyone in my gym or on the street. I would like to take time to give a personal thanks to Ryan Moss. I appreciate your time & knowledge.

I have horrible eating habits, no discipline an affinity for chocolate chip cookies and the SD craft beer scene OWNS ME!!! Yet I maintain my weight, eat the foods I love and have plenty of energy when It comes to working out. I know that I have genetics on my side, I am also very active and I am sure that if I cut out that midnight half dozen of chocolate chip cookies I would look FANTASTIC!!!
I walked in and was up front, honest and gave them my list of goals. They built me a stack that boosted my testosterone levels, helped control my appetite and helped me get good regenerative sleep! I have been spending thousands on supplements for years and I have NEVER seen these results from my workouts. There is no magic pill so if you go in there and tell them that you are an avid runner because you saw a marathon on TV last week and then bought $ 600.00 worth of running gear… they cant help you.
Be up front, tell the staff what you want and be honest with yourself as to the level of activity you are willing to put forth. They will make sure your body chemistry is primed for results!
I love the professional attitudes, the honesty and specialized feel in this store. They also offer a great military discount and they stay in tune with the list of outlawed supplements for professional organizations. Just because you can buy it on the open market doesn’t always mean its OK to use it.

So how can a one-​star review jump to a 5? Good customer service, that’s how.
I have always bought from Nutrition Zone in Point Loma, but then I moved to Vista. Although they didn’t answer their phone I later found out the reason was because they changed their hours and hadn’t yet updated this on their website. Needless to say I was annoyed, as right off the bat it seemed like the standards were terrible.
However, someone from the company contacted me and explained the situation and even took the time to verify I had tried calling in multiple times (I’m sure there are people out there who write unfounded bad reviews so it is good the company does this checking-​up). Anyway, I was very impressed with the level of customer service that I experienced, and the company’s efforts to keep my business. As a business owner myself, I know how important good communication skills are and how losing just a single customer can really make a difference. These guys truly do care about their customers, and my faith has been restored.
I look forward to buying all my supplements, pre-​workout drinks, and vitamins from this shop. And I am glad that the excellent level of customer service i experienced proved my initial review wrong.

Talked with Dave. Got me set up with a new stack to try, I had a million questions and he answered them honestly and was unbiased to their own brands. Helped me weigh the pros and cons of each product and worked with me on budget.
Definitely recommend going to Dave to get your fix of supplements and powders.

Dave is the man! I just started purchasing supplements and protein powders from him and I see a huge difference in my workouts. I didn’t want to build a stack as I wasn’t sure how my body would react. But when he showed me the benefits, and how it helps my body build lean muscle and shed the body fat… I tried it. I’m sold! I buy the Lean Pro Matrix powder every month, that stuff is delicious. The chocolate flavor is great, and I substitute a chocolate protein shake for any chocolate/​sweet cravings i have. I highly recommend going there and talking to Dave about all your fitness/​diet/​nutrition needs. He is knowledgable and he doesn’t push stuff on you. He will spend the time with you and won’t rush you out of the store. A good guy that is VERY PASSIONATE about what he does. You should go check it out!
