I hate to say this — if they get too many patients I may have trouble getting an appointment. But providers and staff are all great. Seven years of good care and service for my family.

Dr Shumaker and the entire staff is just wonderful. You don’t feel like you are just a number. It feels more like your back in the day family doctor where they know you by name and greet you with a real smile vs a fake one. It doesn’t have that hospital/​clinic type feel to it. Best way to describe it, is that is a «warm» place to go, if that makes sense.
You walk in, there is a reception counter where you always find a pleasant smile. The fish tank in the corner is pretty neat. Keeps your mind off the reason why you are there.
Everyone there is very helpful. You can always call with questions about your insurance and how much they cover, what your bill is, or any other questions. Someone is always there to help.
I am very happy I found this place and have no desire to go anywhere else.

I’m a big weenie when it comes to the dentist, and therefore needed a LOT of work done, but Dr. Shumaker and his assistants were great.
His office staff are wonderful also — very friendly and personable, and made the insurance pre-​authorization proces seamless.
The hygenist seemed a little rough, but that was probably my fault for A) being a coward, and B) not coming in as often as I should.
Lastly, the giant goldfish in the waiting room is quite the character. There was some tension between us at first — let’s face it, he stares, which is just plain rude. I eventually came to realize he was just admiring my beautiful smile and great sense of style, however, so it’s all good.

Dr. Shumaker and everyone at Shadowridge Dental Group are amazing. Even though I didn’t follow their flossing advice to a T, they were always friendly and educational in their angst. (Not quite passive aggressive like my friends parents’ who were in the field, or as blunt as my current dentist who just says «more money for me»…)
The team here really cares about their patients. Everything from appointments to cleanings to cavities are painless, efficient, and thorough. As I went off to school, I would return for my cleanings, and I was amazed at how easily I was recognized and remembered by the dental hygienists. I feel guilty now not remembering names, and a guess is just not right! :p
The best recommendation I can give them (for your consideration) is from my current dentist in San Francisco. On my first visit, she’s poking around, and I remember the sigh of relief when she says I’ve had «good, solid, durable dental work» done in the past and that my fillings should last a long, long time! (Good, because I have more than a handful of them!)
