These idiots actually charge you $ 20/hr for early check in. Do they refund the same rate if you check out before 11?

This hotel is clean with great amenities. Friendly staff and a lodge-like feel in the middle of the heartland! This hotel is quaint and comfortable. It has everything one needs — a grand fireplace and sitting area in the entrance, coffee, snacks, free wi-fi, a nice computer for public use if you’ve forgotten yours. We stayed overnight in their«Eagle Suite» which was elaborately decorated and complete with local caramels for us to enjoy. We played in the pool, the kids had a nice, warm jacuzzi bath in our room, and then we cranked up the fireplace and watched TV until we crashed. The«continental» breakfast is phenomenal & offers plenty of choices for everyone. Excellent stay for a family of four!

I’m really liking Americinns just on GP. My bride and I spent three days here, using Wabasha as a base from which to venture forth in search of fall colors and other fun stuff to do, and had a great time here. The double-queen rooms are clean and cozy, with comfy beds. Americinns are also quiet — you will hardly notice the frequently-passing Canadian Pacific freight trains a couple hundred feet away(inside the room, you hear a low rumble when the locos pass, and that’s about it). Their breakfast offerings are pretty diverse, with lots of hot offerings for those for whom cereal just don’t cut it, and lots of cold offerings for those with healthier tastes :-) And the staff here… from check-in to check-out, I didn’t see a single staff person who didn’t smile and greet guests, no matter what they were doing. The people here know how to run a hotel, and how to keep their clients happy and wanting to come back. For sure we’ll be back!

Very nice comfortable motel. We stayed here with our large family and they were very accommodating in supplying us with extra pillows and even a roll-away. The pool was really fun for the kids, the beaver was fun for them to climb on. The rooms have very good climate controls, you don’t have to put up with freezing or sweating to death, you can control it easy. Our Kimono suite had a fire place and a huge hot tub! The only thing was there was only one large king bed and no fold out couch, but we got the roll-away. Free continental breakfast in the morning and a great coffee area with all the flavored creamers too.,

First time ever staying at an AmericInn and I was very impressed! I travel a lot for work and mainly stick with Marriott and Hilton properties just because I can find them throughout the US. The staff was very friendly, the pool was nice and hot tub was pretty large. Very clean throughout and a decent continental breakfast as well! Will definitely stay here again.

The place is nice and clean. I’m originally from Wabasha and stay here when I visit every couple years. I go into my Minnesota-speak and expect the proverbial Minnesota nice. On my trip in October(2012) I did not get Minn-nice. My wife and I seemed to be a bother, overall. On check-in the person seemed preoccupied even tho it didn’t appear busy. The parking lot was pretty empty. Same on check-out. We asked to check out a couple hours late so I could visit an old fried while my wife waited in the room. We were told we couldn’t because the room had to be cleaned. So my wife waited with our bags in the lobby for two hours. Mind you, there were few cars in the lot and my wife reported no check-in activity during the two hours she sat in the lobby. I guess there must have been a huge tour group or maybe a conventions coming in later in the afternoon. But there are few alternatives in Wabasha, so I’ll probably stay here again. Oh, one more thing, in Wabasha I expect to walk anywhere I need to go, but the place is outside of town and it’s a hike to get anywhere«in town.»

Beautiful setting near the picturesque highway, yet near downtown Wabasha. Rooms are nice, very nice indoor pool, very nice common areas and free hot breakfast every day. The best feature, though, is the staff. To a person, everyone we encountered was very cheerful and helpful. «Minnesota Nice» only just over the border.
