I really like this little diner;started going here as a young girl in the late 70’s with my grandpa, Pinky Thompson. He used to take my sister and I here for breakfast and lunch and it was always a treat! It has always been a real comfortable, down-home type of place, full of great people and great food. The service is friendly and swift, the décor consists of home-town Armed Forces heroes on the walls, which I find to be awesome — being a small town, many people who patronize this establishment are either kin or life-long friends of those who have photos on the walls. A nice touch! As for the food, l highly recommend the omelettes — I like the Western: it is huge, has plenty of tasty veggies and I love that they serve salsa alongside it. You can enjoy either toast or biscuits with your omelettes(I opt for the biscuits, which are delicious!). They also give you an ample amount of hash browns. The coffee is fresh and flows freely from the capable and attentive waitresses. Many older folks from the community come here for breakfast and lunch and it seems like everyone knows everyone else, which makes for a warm and cozy feel to the place. If you want good solid American fare served by affable staff in a feel good atmosphere, I highly recommend Main Street café to everybody!

Fast and friendly staff. Excellent food quality, gives the other diner in town a run for it’s money. Hours are limited so if you are around when they are open in the mornings go there for sure. The made to order meals were good, and not full if grease and oil like some diners. Cozy atmosphere, and a nice local diner. Clean inside, would certainly take out of town guests here. I’ll be going back for sure.

Why does this restaurant not have a review yet? It’s quite a feat to find a restaurant or café that makes fresh food taste good in small town Oklahoma. This restaurant smelled good when we walked in, we were greeted warmly, the staff was friendly, the coffee was fresh, and the food was good old-fashioned comfort breakfast food. I had the eggs over hash browns topped with cheese and crumbled sausage. I asked them to hold the ham. It was topped with cheese and fresh diced bell pepper and onion, and seasoned nicely. the only disappointment was that the hash browns were not homemade from scratch, but were frozen. I wish restaurants didn’t do this. my friend had biscuits and gravy topped with sausage crumbles. she said the gravy wasn’t as seasoned as she liked, but I tasted it and thought it was good. She’s from Missouri, so her tastes might be geographical. As I walked past the kitchen to use the bathroom, I was able to note the kitchen was clean and organized. that made me feel even better about the meal. I would definitely recommend this café.
