Located in Wahiawa in the medical plaza down the road from Jack in the Box. This plaza has doctor offices, optometrists, pediatricians, and dentists, as well as a Longs Drugs pharmacy, mini-mart, and Diagnostic Laboratory Services. Parking is ample if you arrive early. The lab opens at 630AM and there was tons of parking available. I have been here during lunch time and parking can be tight. There are many stalls, but with so many businesses the lot can get full. There is parking surrounding the building and many entrances which is great for the elderly who visit here. I’ve been to Diagnostic Labs several times with my [perhaps] future father in law. He’s been going to the doctor to check up on several things… and he needed to get some blood drawn after fasting. I wanted to go Saturday morning but he wanted to go Monday morning… so I slept in Saturday(not such a bad idea!) and woke up at 615AM Monday morning to get ready. Luckily they live close by so the drive is only about 6 minutes away. We arrived at 632AM and we were number 8! Good grief everyone needed blood drawn and was smart to go early! The office is pretty small. There are about 9 chairs inside where you can sit and wait which is convenient for the older folk who need to sit down. The staff is extremely friendly. The facility is clean and well maintained. You just grab a number and have a seat and when it’s your turn, you turn in your paper from the doc and provide your ID card and insurance card. There are 4 chairs that are available and after checking in, they’ll direct you to a chair and will meet you in a few minutes after some charting is completed. Draw your blood, and you’re on your way! It took a good 30 minutes until it was our turn(albeit they moved pretty quickly for only 2 employees working at the time) and to draw the blood and do paperwork took less than 5 minutes! If you need bloodwork done, I would recommend coming to the Wahiawa location if you’re close by. Friendly staff full of aloha… plus they are really sweet to the elderly Filipino community. I’m sure a lot of the patients are«regulars» and since the staff is the same they know the patients who visit often. 5 stars for exceptional and friendly service!
