Nicco Floral Design

Nicco’s florals is the bomb. Val took care of my flower arrangements for my wedding and they came out beautiful. My husband gets me my anniversary flower arrangement every year from Nicco’s and they have always turned out so gorgeous. Mahalo!

I contacted Niccos from California as I wanted to look into wearing a Haku for my 5 year anniversary photos on the big island. Nicco was so helpful and amazing, she knew exactly what I wanted and made the most beautiful Haku for my photos this evening! I can’t thank her enough, she made my vision for my photos a reality! She also made a ti lei for my husband as well. Thank you Nicco! :)

I cannot say enough good things about Val and Nicco floral design. It’s really convenient because they are right there at the Hapuna Prince hotel. My wedding turned out so beautifully because of their floral work. My bouquets, bamboo arch, centerpieces, and manzanita trees were just gorgeous. Val is very organized and remembers everything and has great beautiful vision. She helped me out with how my florals were going to look for my wedding and it was beautiful. Everything was beautiful and perfect about my wedding. I cannot say enough about how Nicco floral design was a big part of it.

I can not say enough good things about Niccos They do amazing work and definitely go above and beyond. If any business wants to know how to increase their business, they should take note from these guys. They truly are amazing!!!

I was really looking forward to having Nicco’s as my planning service, but today was given a rude awakening as to how things must operate (though the gal I spoke to assured me they aren’t). I’ll let you decide.
I initially contacted Nicco’s on February 21^st. I explained several times that only our venue was booked and nothing else. I spent hours sending pictures of what I was interested in and explaining what I needed for planning. On March 7^th, I explained that I would be driving from Hilo so wasn’t easy for me to get there and we in the next few days planned to meet March 14^th at 10:30 am (a day and time she proposed) because I told her I work all week and have no time except the weekend which is why I need a planner in the first place.
Today, 5 minutes before I was going to leave for the 1.5 hour drive, the person I was to meet with and had been emailing called me up and told me she had a wedding in Kona that she had to do and couldn’t meet with me, even though she had set the appointment up with me. She then proceeded to ask what I had booked already and hadn’t recalled any details of what I had sent her by email. She also went on to try to convince me of how they do private jet weddings and really beautiful weddings. She then went on to explain that they only use one caterer and that I had a big list of one’s she doesn’t use (which she had me mistaken for someone else since I literally gave her no list of vendors). She also asked me if I could meet sometime during the week or if I could just meet later in the day. I told her again I have a busy schedule and that I couldn’t meet during the week and again said we are driving from Hilo. She then said she didn’t realize we were driving from Hilo and would call me back to see if there was another coordinator that could meet with me. When she called back, I told her not to bother, since clearly she 1) doesn’t have her schedule organized to know she had a wedding she was already working on and couldn’t meet today (we had this appointment planned since March 10 so she should have known what appointments she already had 2) she literally remembered nothing about what I had put in writing on our emails, 3) was calling last minute to reschedule when we had told her we were driving from out of town.
I don’t know about you, but for something as simple as an appointment, if you can’t even handle coordinating that, how successful can a company be at coordinating a whole wedding and reception? She started almost chanting every client matters and every client is important, but I am a results oriented person and actions speak louder than words. Flaking out like that does not prove that every client matters to Niccos.

Florist located right in the Hotel complex that Mom lives, convenient and accessible. They do a first rate job. Will use again.
