Average 3 star tourist shop. Minus 1 star for the passive aggressive rudeness from the lady running the shop. Prices are just like most tourist shops on the island(not including the super expensive tourist shops in the resort areas). The lady running the shop realized we were Filipino and started talking to my mom in their language. When we went to pay she asked me if I was going into my first year in college. No, I’m going into my fourth year in college. Then she asked me «oh, you’re going into your fourth year and you still don’t know what you want to do?» Woah there. No lady, it’s rude for strangers to assume things and impose those assumptions as if they’re true. I told her what my major was, and what my plans were. I wanted to get out of there ASAP and I guess she felt my vibe because she ran out after my mom and gave her a plumeria flower hair clip, «give this to your daughter!» Uh, thanks but a small gift doesn’t cancel out the rude comment.

We stopped by here after having some shaved ice at Jo Jo’s. We thought that the place would be a tourist rip-off. I’m happy to say that we were so wrong. The place was very affordable. The woman(owner I think) was terrrific. She was very helpful, friendly, and not pushy at all. She sells all kinds of souvenirs and clothes. My wife was very happy with the dresses that she bought here. If you are in the area, then check the place out!

Perfect! All my souvenirs for the friends and family were purchased here. Our kids got a bunch of free gifts. The lady that runs the shop is an amazing caracter — she should be in the movies! Thank you! We will be back every time we come to Kauai.

This is the place to get your Hawaiian made Aloha wear. Down to Earth, Auntie Anita is over the top with the spirit. I found it difficult to leave because there was always something else from bamboo windchimes to ukeleles. Check it out. You’re there anyway seeing the canyon.
