I am a TRUE Filipino at HEART, and I LOVEJOLLIBEE! I love their FRIEDCHICKENS! Their pineapple juices, burgers, and etc. That time I was with my parents and Auntie coming from Savers Waipahu. We got all super exhausted and needed a break to eat coz we was sooo hungry ya know. Loved Waipahu Jollibee. Place is big and its so spacious. Loved the seating. Cashiers were so nice and kind. All of them loved to greet and smiled a lot. Haha I just love it. I love Jollibee to the max. I would totally be upset if they taken Jollibee away from Hawaii.

Never had a problem coming here, usually go to the one inside seafood city. But a few day ago my boyfriend and I ordered 2N1’s & he got I think spaghetti but w/a chicken joy, To go. He asked for extra gravy on the side… Someone tell me why, is it hard to close a lid? Not one but two. When my boyfriend went to grab the bag he noticed the gravy had already spilled. We went to a table closer to the doors. I asked for a bag from one of the people up front she look like an Assistant manager. She didn’t really say sorry she just asked the size of the bag I wanted. I went back to the table and my boyfriend said just forget it. We paid for our food and I didn’t want it leaking in our car but we took our chances. If we come here, probably just eating in next time. Two stars because the cashier was really nice when ordering & store is always clean.

Hot dog spaghetti with cheese. That’s what I imagine whenever someone mentions jolli bee. I have been to a jollibee in the Philippines before and it was yummy. The spaghetti always gets me, and their palabok is yummy! The restaurant is surprisingly big, and it looks clean. They have a cute little bakery in the corner which has this amazing mango cake? You have to try, I didn’t take a pic of it because my boyfriend ate it all… But it was really good. We went a little late, maybe around 8? what sort of made me a little upset was that we were sitting in an area near the fountain drink machine… I swear that prior to sitting in that spot our seat was not blocked off. They decided to block us to sweep and mop. Kind of rude knowing that your customers are still dining. It explains why the kid jumped over the rope and stepped in the pile of dirt that the worker was sweeping up. Although I feel bad for the old nana worker, It would be a little more considerate if they started cleaning up more towards the closing time.

Parking is tight due to all the business in the area. Chicken was a bit under cooked while fries were overlooked. Spaghetti had a lot of hotdogs but it had that taste as if the pasta was cooked in tap water.

Oh how I love Jollibee =) This morning was my 2nd time at this location — my 1st was the Filipino 101(or 102?) Unilocal event. I came in for breakfast thinking I wanted longanisa and rice, but decided on a corned beef sandwich, peach mango pie, and ube cooler. Resonably priced at under $ 8 for a very satisfying meal. I thought it would be busy but I was able to walk right up to the counter and order. The cashier was friendly and informative. After a short wait, my food was ready. My sandwich came warm on pandesal bread(a Filipino favorite!), corned beef that melts in your mouth, and I think mayo. The peach mango pie was warm and seemed freshly made, with just enough sweetness and a great light crunch to the shell. The ube(purple yam) cooler is yummy as well. I ordered it without tapioca. Overall, the food was like homemade: warm, comforting, and delicious. I recommend trying Jollibee if you want to experience reasonably priced Filipino food. I will definitely be back. =)

My friend wanted to eat here for lunch & since I haven’t been here for awhile I thought it was a good idea. Located in Waipahu right next to Golden Coin & Pacific Supermarket. The parking can be crazy sometimes but luckily I was able to find one. We shared the Palabok Pancit & some fried chicken. The chicken was very tasty & not salty like KFC chicken. I love their Palabok which is a rice noodle dish with some kind of sauce on it with shrimps & boiled egg. I have to say that the workers were very friendly & efficient. I will be back for sure!

I’ve only tried the fried chicken and spaghetti from Jollibee but really like both! The spaghetti is on the sweeter side, which I really like and the fried chicken is tasty and has a great crisp to it! The chicken is also very moist and tasty inside. I think this place is a hidden gem for fried chicken as you wouldn’t necessarily think to stop here when picking up a bucket of chicken(or spaghetti for that matter). Combo of a small spaghetti and piece of chicken runs about $ 6.50, I think. The space is large and pretty clean with lots of free parking. It’s located in the same parking lot as Max’s of Manila, which is what you’ll see closer to Farrington Hwy.

This site of Jollibee’s(one of 4 in Hawaii) is located in the same shopping center as Max’s of Manila, Pacific Supermarket and Red Ribbon Bakery. Jollibee’s menu offers their famous Filipino-style fried chicken known as «Chicken Joy», spaghetti with sweet tomato sauce, burgers, breakfast items, Palabok(spice) Fiesta rice noodles, boba drinks and desserts(halo halo & mango pie). All of the food items are available as combination meals that include beverages. We ordered the Chicken Joy with one side and a beverage for $ 5.99 each. The friendly counterhelp gave us a pager as the fried chicken was still in the fryer and would be coming out fresh and hot. Our $ 5.99 meals consisted of 2 pieces(drumstick and thigh) fresh, hot and juicy crisp-skinned fried chicken, a side order(I took the buttered corn while my husband took the french fries), a small container of brown gravy and a medium sized(16 oz) cup for beverage of our choice(with refills). Other side order selections that you can choose are steamed white rice, macaroni salad, french fries and mashed potatoes with gravy. The chicken was perfectly done but I thought that the pieces were a bit on the small side in comparison with fried chicken pieces from Popeye’s. But, the chicken was flavorful as if it had been brined or marinated. We used the gravy to dip our chicken into before taking bites. The gravy was a a touch too salty for my tastebuds and seemed to taste saltier as it cooled. I wasn’t sure what else to use the gravy on, unlike at American fast food chicken places that serve biscuits, hmm, perhaps on the buttered corn? But, my husband used his additional container of gravy to dip his french fries .all that was missing were cheese curd and I think he would have poured the gravy over his fries. All in all, the freshly fried chicken was delicious and getting a meal that included a beverage quelled our hunger. I could find myself calling out«Winner, Winner Chicken Dinner» for this Filipino fast food favorite. #358

1. Environment The lighting here is okay. Nothing too special. They just renovated and that’s pretty much it. The cleanliness comes with the new renovation. Parking can get tough for this establishment but you should find parking regardless. Lots of Filipinos but that shouldn’t matter, you should already tell because it’s Waipahu. This place is pretty much the McDonald’s for KFC but a Phillipines version. 2. Service This place used to have good cashiers working here. I don’t know what happened. This place makes you wait for a very long time for food that’s already made. This place wasn’t too busy when I went and I’m sad to say with the food and everything already made AND the long wait, they still managed to miss the drink that I ordered and the gravy that came with my girlfriend’s N2 order. Sad Sad Sad. On top of that, I felt like I wasn’t welcomed. As if the cashier purely hated his job. Get over it dude, at least you have a job. I tell it as it is. 3. Quality of food The food is good actually. The pricing is affordable. The portions to dollar ratio is okay. The food is placed in bento like to-go boxes. Since I’ve started this review by saying it’s like a McDonald’s for the Philippines, I’m going to guess the food isn’t that much organic as well. Food is okay here but you do get the taste. 4. Original For what this place is, I say it’s almost original given that they have Filipino desserts which are pretty good and the Filipino spaghetti. It’s just that there are better places… 5. Overall liking It’s just an okay place to me. Too commercialized. The food portions are smaller now than before, they used to give more but I guess the renovations and money being the motivation, they give less now. I give this place 1 star just because I had to wait 30 minutes for food that’s pretty much made and they missed two items. The bright side however… they got my request for the chicken thigh. I wish they had this other worker who would host the parties and had a very bright personality. He works hard and puts on a smile. He now works at another fast food joint. If he was there I would’ve definitely given the 5 stars…

Married a Filipino, she loves Japanese food while I eat more Filipino food than she does! Palabok, how to describe… Something my wife NEVER wants to eat but I just LOVE! The pancit noodles are perfect, never soggy or too hard. I love the sauce and meat on it! ALWAYS my fave! Oh and don’t forget your Ube Pearl Cooler bubble drink! LOVE! Oh, the wife had chicken which there’s is absolutely thee best! Super crispy, never over cooked! Just the right crunch

Hit or miss. I mean it’s commercial so the food should taste fairly consistent. Well on my last visit the spaghetti tasted watered down. Bleh! Nothing worst than having the cravings and end up with cardboard tasting food. On the flip side, when it’s good it’s good. Hits the spot. Mind you though I only order the same food every visit. Either it’s the spaghetti or chicken. One thing that irritates me is that they no longer serve banana ketchup. Boo! Glad 100x over that it’s not mad crazy here anymore. It’s a lot more pleasant visiting a restaurant that doesn’t sound like a flea market.

Welcome(back) to the Philippines pare ko. Ito ang Hamburger nalang. You will find a different taste to this meal. It’s not bad, let me get that out first. It’s just that it’s different and that’s a great thing. Who wants the«McD’s and BK’s» of the world again? You want different(delicious that is) and fast. Located in the Seafood City strip Mall on your right on Farrington Hwy. Heading toward the H1 entrance and West, it’s on your right before leaving the area. Just past the Don Quijote and one street up. Before you buy everything in sight inside the Seafood City, have something to eat first. Come here. It’s a staple in the Philippines and I remember ALWAYS going here for something when I was tipsy from a night out. Check them out when you’re in the area. Fun Food Fast. Salamat sa iyo at magpapadala ako sa iyo makita doon sa lalong madaling panahon!

Ok, y’all know that this is gonna bee automatic 5 stars because if y’all know me, I am all about that Jollibee life. Aight so this is the 4th Jollibee on Oahu/Hawaii that is located inside Waipahu’s Seafood City Supermarket(Red Ribbon) is right on front of and across from Jollibee too. Anyways, first let me drop some knowledge, when Seafood City Waipahu first opened included within the store is Red Ribbon, Jollibee, Valerios, and Grill City. You can pretty much call it Filipino haven. All of the Seafood Cities in the nation have this. Going back to Jollibee, if you’ve been to Jollibee Kalihi, this location has the same vibe and atmosphere it just more on a smaller scale. When you enter, there’s the front counter automatically ready to take your order. There’s a handful of table and seating areas as well as some bar stool kine style ones in the front. Then prices for the food is just like all of the Jollibees as well as the food. If you are reading this review not knowing what Jollibee is then it is pretty much Filipino fast food known for fried chicken(chickENJOY), burgers, and spaghetti. I came on the first grand opening day and it wasn’t so busy at night. This is a really convenient place to eat while you are doing your shopping at Seafood City. There is lots of parking in the front which is shared with the supermarket as a whole.

I’m originally from the Philippines and remember always going to Jollibee but I moved to the east coast where they didn’t have barely any Filipino restaurants. So when I found out there was a Jollibee here, I definitely had to stop by and pick up my favorite dessert ever… The Halo Halo. I love their halo halo here!!! Their lines are Always super long at this location but they’re pretty fast. This place is always busy but it’s pretty big with lots of tables. The parking lot is crazy though, it’s sometimes hard to find parking.

I was torn between 2 – 3 stars for Jollibee. It’s not one of those places that blows your mind, but it’s not that junk either. I agree with other Unilocalers in that the line can be long, but I felt the staff was hustling. I don’t know about the staff bringing you your order, but they do give you a buzzer to know when your order is done. No issues with communicating with the staff any time I’ve gone. Only issue I had was when I ordered their chicken strips. The chicken strips were super dry and they didn’t have spicy although at the time it was advertised. The server couldn’t give me a clear answer aside from«We don’t serve that» despite it being on their sign. Strange… oh well. Their regular fried chicken was extremely most the time I did try it, and the gravy it came with was good too. I’m a fan of their halo halo… nice sized serving for under $ 5. Seating area is pretty large and always seemed clean when I stopped by. Parking is a mess but it shares the lot with a lot of other places. Overall, I’d give it 2.5 stars(just rounded it up to 3 for Unilocal

Saving the last star for bigger portions and faster service. I went about 2pm and boy this place is always busy. Been there prior when they first opened and totally packed. I can see why the chicken is crispy tasty and not over fried. I don’t like the fat on the drumstick though lol. Get the side gravy omg drool! N2 combo is my fave… spaghetti and one chickenjoy. Typical Filipino spaghetti I wish the portion was a little bigger, think Zippys mini but smaller. Nonetheless I will go back… will be dreaming of chicken tonight! They now give the buzzy pager thing with your order so you don’t need to stand around.
