Paddle Board RI

Booked an Intro to Paddle (SUP 101) Class for myself and my fiancée who really wanted to try the activity. We showed up at the assigned location 15 minutes before the assigned time and tried to figure out where we would meet the instructor. The employees at the location, which itself was a kayak/​paddle/​canoe rental location seemed to know only a little bit about the company that was using its space to launch the tours. I checked my email to find a contact phone number and only then realized that they had sent an automated email to me at 3:30 a.m. cancelling the reservation without explanation. I called the company’s phone number and left a voicemail, which still has not been returned a week later.
If I were you, I wouldn’t deal with this company. Instead just go to an established location that has a physical location and all of the rental equipment you could need. We ended up renting kayaks instead from Narrow River Kayaks, the company that is the launch point for Paddle Board RI. They had a full staff there and plenty of rental equipment. They even offer Paddle Boarding lessons and tours which we would have done if they weren’t already full that day on such short notice.

We had a blast during our stand up paddle adventure! The owners provided great instruction while we toured the bay for nearly two hours! What a workout and great day! Highly recommended!
