I had a turtle sundae, so I can only judge on ice cream. Usual soft serve, had vanilla, chocolate, and one flavor of the day. FOR was raspberry try file with no visible signs of raspberry, so I chose vanilla, had a sundae. Caramel and hot fudge the usual tinned type, about 5 bucks for«regular, which filled me up 4 hours after a big breakfast. No whipped cream, bummer. Just average. Only ice cream for miles around. Usual ice cream stand menu. Sure, I would go back, have a waffle cone next time.

Gone two times now and everything I’ve ordered has not only met my expectations but exceeded them, by far! Definitely one of my new favorite places!

I’ve never ordered hot food, but it looks and smells great. For me it’s just a great locally owned custard stand that is always busy in good weather but we’ll worth the wait. Love that they still thrive despite the chain story that opened a block away. Support our locals!

Looking for a grill type food and good custard? Check out Le Duc’s. They have been around as long as I can remember…35+ years and it hasn’t changed much(in terms of going down). Drive up, outdoor seating, indoor seating when it gets cold, and fun summer location to get dessert. Nothing wrong with Culver’s but to me, this is what ice cream/custard stands are all about! Order at a window, get your favorite custard(mine is the Berry Berry Sundae) grab a seat outside and socialize or people watch while enjoying a nice Wisconsin summer/fall day.

Great classic American custard stand with outstanding burgers. If you are craving a sweet treat I would recommend getting off the freeway and hunting this place down.

This place being 2 miles from our house is just plain dangerous. The topper burger, a grass-fed beef burger topped with onion rings, cheese curds, and BBQ sauce is heaven on a bun. The cheese curds by themselves are absolutely superb as well. I’ve never had anything bad here, but it’s tough to order anything other than the topper burger! The custard is up to par, nothing crazy, but always good. They have a huge list of flavors available in pints and quarts every day, so that makes up for the flavor of the day not being quite as craveable as Kopp’s. My only request would be to add a drive thru! Though ordering outside during the summer has a nice quaint charm.

Nice place. Kind of small. I liked the custard. Someone mentioned parking in a review and they are correct, parking needs work. The interior of the place was clean and it looked fairly new. I’d like to try a sundae next time. This time I had a cone.

Classic walk-up custard stand in Wales, WI, featuring delicious frozen treats AND tasty hot food items, as well. Price points here are very reasonable for the portion size — got a burger, pumpkin malt(YUM) and an order of cheese fries to share with a friend for about $ 11. Burger was excellent — fresh, hot, soft bun, and any toppings you choose. I got the smaller burger option(1⁄3 lb) and it was still very filling for me. Custard options include a daily flavor, sundaes, shakes/malts, a custard sandwich cookie, and even cakes. Bonus for cooler weather — they do offer indoor seating! I’ve visited Le Duc’s a few times and have been happy with the food quality, service, and atmosphere every time. It does get busy — on a beautiful day, be prepared to wait!(It’s worth it).

Wow, this custard is all sugar and way too sweet for me! It just coats your mouth and teeth, leaving a bit of a sting on the enamel, and as a result it has more of a commercial flavor than homemade. The burgers are pretty good, though. Fries, meh. Does anyone make homemade french fries in Milwaukee? Please…

Absolute LOVE this place! Everything is made fresh and tastes delicious. Everyone there is really nice and happy to help. Try the cheese curds, BLT and grilled ham sandwiches. The onion rings are crispy, burgers are juicy and the bacon is super crispy. They have a lot of options. The frozen custard cakes are super yummy and great for parties. Love local small businesses!

Best frozen custard west of Leon’s! I’ve been a fan of LeDuc’s for years. When I lived in Waukesha, there was nothing better than digging the Model A out of the garage and making a leisurely pilgrimage to Wales for a treat at LeDuc’s. My usual fare is a simple raspberry sundae, the custard is as smooth and creamy as anyone could expect and the raspberries are always fresh. Another favorite is their special Custard Puff — imagine, a State Fair Cream Puff that, instead of whipped cream, is filled with LeDuc’s frozen custard! I always feel completely stuffed after a Custard Puff! An addition was made to the building a couple of years ago, so LeDuc’s now has an indoor dining room(custard all winter!) and rest rooms. The price was the loss of a couple of valuable parking places but worth the cost. LeDuc’s is just east of Wisconsin 83 on US18, about 3 miles south of I-94, and well worth the short drive!

I haven’t been here in i would say 8 – 10 years. After a friend took me there one night, The place sure has seemed to change from a tiny little place i once remembered, I took my fiancé out there and had some custard., She really enjoyed it which is a plus since she is the ice cream/Custard person in the family. She ordered a Turtle Sundae and i got the Twix shake… not so much a shake but it was GREAT. We will be back again.

Wonderful custard! It is my Friday night treat. I can’t get past a turtle sunday. The is the place to bring your out-of-state friends. Custard beats ice cream every time. During the Summer it can get very busy with long lines.

I love custard. I could eat it every day. It is a good thing I don’t live near Le Duc’s, because I would eat custard every day. And, I would still love it. Le Duc’s has been in business more than 30 years. It sits somewhat out in the country, although the world keeps building up around it. It’s cute and clean with very prompt and friendly workers. One scoop of custard is $ 2.25 and it is not a «Baskin Robbins» scoop… It is everything that a quality custard should be… super smooth and super yummy. Good stuff!

We were exploring rural WI by car, checking our cornfields and farmhouses when we stumbled upon LeDuc’s. This place felt like it was in the middle of not-a-whole-lot. But we were hungry and the big old FROZENCUSTARD sign caught our attention. The menu is intimidating: not only do they have a lot of variety, they offer half their items with organic, grass-fed meat. It’s a sad commentary on the current state of our world that among all the farms we were near, the clerk told me that this is the only restaurant in the greater Waukesha area that she knows about where such meat is offered. I went for it, a grass-fed burger accompanied by a chocolate malt. The burger was tasty, but the bun was definitely on the dry side. Fries were great. And the malt notched this one a solid 4-star. One friend ordered the grape flavored custard drink and it was crazy sugary good. Definitely check them out if you’re exploring the dairy land.

Never disappointed in LeDuc’s custard. The service is pretty fast and the staff is polite. It’s a little pricy but you do get decent portions and the quality is always great. Parking is available in a limited capacity in front of the building, but they have additional parking in the back. They also have limited seating by way of picnic tables. Overall a great experience and a must if passing through Wales. I highly recommend their turtle sundaes
