I enjoy the atmosphere and the food. I have only sat at bar. I go every Thursday for .50 wings and beer. I enjoy the company, the food and a couple of beers. The only improvement I see it to have a Senior Discount. They offer us nothing. The positive is, happy hour pricing starts at 8pm, if you can hold off to that time. Overall, I am a fan.

I came with my family and although there was a wait, it was worth it. Great food and great staff. I will be coming back.

Been here a couple times for lunch & has always been busy. Service was fine. Really like their salads too. Can’t complain about a decent lunch special for $ 9.99. Going to try their takeout. Will come back.

The McDonald’s of American pub chains. Table was filthy. Had to fetch utensils because both the waitress and the person who dropped(literally) our plates didn’t notice that there were no utensils or napkins. Food is what you’d expect — reheated and served semi warm. Would have avoided all together if original destination hadn’t closed at 9pm.

99 is better than Chilies & Ruby Tuesdays. Steaks are very tender and prime rib is the best!

Nice full restaurant & bar. Not from the area but our hotel directed us here. Prices good tap of about 10 choices with the sport of the day on about 5tv’s. Two sided bar about 30 seats. I would come back.

Myself and my kids always enjoy coming here, the food is always good and the staff pleasant, the $ 9.99 meal menu is a good choice, I wouldn’t call it fine dining but it’s a good warm meal and we always leave full

We got pretty much what you’d expect out of a low end American pub, which, rather than their tag line of «great food, great drink», is more like«mediocre food and drink, at best». Waitress was fine, seemed kind of uncomfortable and nervous but was attentive and friendly. We were seated right by the hostess station, so we had the pleasure of listening to two waitresses and a manager gossip about a coworker. At least now I have the inside scoop about who said what when and why they’re upset about it. An overwhelmingly«meh» experience. Won’t be back, do not recommend

No stars. Horrible service. Food not good. We used to come here all the time, and we were in the area tonight so we stopped here. Our old favorite servers provided great service. New staff and management seems to be afraid of the kitchen, who doesn’t care about food quality, timeliness, or meeting the customer’s order requirement. Needs major rework. Also hate the open bar area and glaring bright overhead lights.

Pretty much what you would expect from a chain resturant. Nothing bad to say but nothing particularly great either.

Ok. Orders got screwed up but the meals got comp’d for it so it was ok. Food was good

Great staff, good food for a major chain. We go there often, the wait is usually short and our favorite server is James, he is awesome. Gives great suggestions and very personable. Kids also eat free when the Red Sox win the day prior so that’s a plus if you have children.

James is fantastic! He goes above and beyond. He answered all of our questions about our food allergies and their menu items. I loved the lobster roll and the fish and chips and the steaks are also very tasty. It was a lovely evening out.

What a shame… been coming her for the past 15 years because it was the quieter alternative. However… the last 5 visits or so have been way less than desirable. Some of the staff is MORE than accommodating. I have found that the last few visits that if you are there in the last hour of business you will hear the bartender yell to the kitchen«sorry guys they are still coming in » ??? Are you kidding me? Nothing like making you feel unwanted and they do not want your business. I literally just walked out of there at 10:00 when they close at 11:00 after waiting 10 minutes at the bar never to see a single employee at the door or the bar but only the cooks feverishly cleaning the grills laughing away. No one even noticed or acknowledged I was there. I am now at another establishment 1 minute up the road enjoying my meal that I worked very hard to pay for and receiving the respect that any paying customer deserves. Shame on you ninety nine house… good luck !

I had a couple of people who come here and compare it to a Applebees since I’m from NY and I never had Ninety Nine and they are right. The food was good and the prices are not bad.

Excellent, kind, fast service… waitress understood my daughters autism. I explained how I did things so things would go smooth and organized taking my daughter out. She was very cooperative and dinner was great —

Honestly didn’t know this was a chain when it came up in Unilocal as a bar that was close by, however after pulling into the parking lot, i had a bad feeling. walking inside confirmed it, ninty nine is no different than applebees, chilis, name your brass and wood restaunrant/bar. very dry atmosphere. Bar is in the center, really in its own separate room. The other rooms include lower eating tables. Servers, in black or course, are everywhere. Food could not be any different from Applebee’s. Bar room itself isn’t horrible is it was a free standing building. Walls are brick with windows & entry ways on three sides. Except for the formica bar top(really looks horrible), otherwise good steel rail, comfy chairs, tiled ceiling(over the bar), 4 hdtvs(though not the place to watch the game). Decorated for Christmas which was nice. Older crowd in the bar and families in the restaurant. Mike the bartender was a good guy, on top of things. Free popcorn. Other problem is the bar is next to kitchen, which really sucks. Creates too much noise and activity. Basically it’s an Applebee’s, enough said.

It’s a chain. Let’s get that out of the way. It can serve my food with the waitstaff doing handstands and cartwheels while carrying my food but it’s still a chain. So no five star status for them. HOWEVER. For a chain? I’ve never had a bad meal here. It’s good on nights when I don’t want to cook but don’t want to do take out. I recommend eating in the bar, that way you avoid the families with kids. (as an aside, is parenting no longer in vogue? Is it acceptable to let your kids jump up and down, yell, scream and whine in a public place? Let me know.) The food is pretty straightforward. The french onion soup is recommended as is any of the burgers and sandwiches on the menu. Decent beer selection. One thing I will say: From Maine to Rhode Island to Connecticut, the food is consistent as is the atmosphere and service. If your choice is Ruby Tuesday’s or the 99, go for the 99.
