I ordered for lunch on a Monday and paid with my credit card. I was told it would be delivered in 35 minutes. Over an hour and fifteen minutes later, I decided to call and check on the status of the delivery. The man who answered the phone was rude and told me that they would NEVER say 35 minutes and that they typically say 45 minutes and that the driver would be leaving the restaurant in 1 minute. It came 10 minutes later.(this place is walking distance.) He didn’t have my credit card receipt and told me to sign the bottom of my order ticket not the actual credit card receipt. I declined and I asked him to come back with my receipt. He told he that he really shouldn’t leave the food here then and that he had other things to do before he could bring me my receipt. To top it off, the pizza was cold and greasy! My company will no longer be ordering from here. Take my advice and STAYAWAY!

I ordered pizza here while I was working. It arrived in a timely manner, albeit the delivery guy not being able to find the address at first. The pizza was still hot when it got here and was pretty good. I’m not a huge thin crust fan, but this was decent compared to other places. The only problem I really had with the pizza was what I feel is a lack of cheese. The amount put on could have been a little bit thicker.

This place is a ripoff literally… They charge whatever they please not what there menu says at all. they advertise 2 slice’s of pizza and a can of soda for 2.50. My kid brother stops in the guy charges him 4.25 for one slice!!! No soda nothing … So then my girlfriend sends him for a menu for lunch for her self. She calls it in… then sends him to pick it up with 20 bucks mind you she ordered a grilled cheese deluxe aka with fry’s… He comes back with 6 bucks … Ok that seems ridiculous so even after the order was wrong and took for ever you rip off a kid … So my gf walks in with our child«reason why we sent my little bro in the first place«and ask about the change and guys response was ohh I owe you 2 dollars… I’m pretty sure that’s still wrong this guy is straight scum ripping off anyone he can his food sucks and takes wayyy too long. For pizza and with his reputation he can possibly be busy … Hahaha do your self a favor and stay away from this place save yourself the aggravation !

So, I stopped into this place with my mother tonight to get a quick bite to eat. I wasnt expecting high quality food from the looks of the place. First of all, it took over 35 minutes for them to bring us our food(i saw them do nothing but stand around and watch TV before finally deciding to do something and cook our food) and we were the only people who actually sat down to eat(with only three tables in the joint Im not surprised by this either). So, we ordered a cheeseburger and a Panini. The burger was thin, dry and chewy. WAY overcooked. My Panini was nothing more than lunch meat style roast beef(with was loaded with tendons and fat and tasted like it had been cooked in a pound of salt.) And to top it off the beef was still dripping with blood(now i know roast beef is supposed to be pink in the middle but come on this thing was still moo-ing) I will never go back to this place, its a waste of money and time. Other reasons to avoid this place : It was dirty and unkempt one cook or server turned the TV to a sports game and turned the volume up so loud it was hard to hear Lazy staff

Great pizza awesome wings and free delivery. I’ve been here about a dozen times and everytime I was treated well. All the employees here are nice and happy. 4 stars because I think the sitting area could use an update.

While staying in the area, I was looking for some quick delivery for the evening. Not looking for upscale fare, this menu looked like a reasonable option. We ordered a small Farmer’s pizza(ricotta, sliced tomato, broccoli, garlic & basil) and a fried chicken fingers dinner(with fries, coleslaw & pickle). Delivery was faster than estimated, and friendly. Prices were reasonable. The pizza had a barely acceptable amount of toppings although expectations had not been all that high to begin with. The crust was pleasantly seasoned although was a bit harder and«chewier» than I would have liked(as if it was lacking moisture in the dough). The garlic was obviously a canned minced product splattered around the pie. The basil did appear to be fresh. The chicken fingers appeared dark and perhaps overcooked. I was pleased when I tried them and there was no burnt or overcooked taste. Furthermore, the seasoning and breading presented an excellent«Southern fried chicken» taste rather than typical frozen battered chicken pieces that are common amongst these pizza restaurant types. The fries were ok, nothing special. The side of coleslaw was more of a joke, no seasoning, and barely over 1 oz of product in the 3 oz portion cup(simply a spoonful of shredded cabbage and mayo mixed). The Wallingford Pizza House served its purpose for our late evening low– to mid– grade delivery needs. Would I go here for dinner on a night out? Highly doubtful. But I feel as though I got exactly what I paid for and was decently satisfied with the taste and experience of my purchase. (I added my photos of the two meals)

I’ve lived in Wallingford about two blocks from this place for roughly three years. I’ve gotten pizza from here countless times. At the beginning it was great. However, over the past year the quality has declined somewhat. The sauce is really not very tasty or high-quality, the wings are really not good, and it’s just sort of a grease-house. That said, the prices are good, delivery is free over $ 10, there are ALWAYS coupons to use for discounts on meals, and when there are toppings on the pizza it tastes fine. I should also qualify this review by saying that I am a sauce snob, because I absolutely adore New Haven pizza and I only eat homemade pasta/pizza sauce otherwise, so other people may not be as picky as I am about pizza. Give it a try, but keep your expectations realistic.

New management really makes a difference! We ordered buffalo chicken pizza, and it was very good. I can’t comment on anything else, but I’m glad someone finally made an improvement. I hope they stay and don’t have to sell because it’s definitely an improvement from the previous owners.

Worst service I have ever experienced with a pizza place. First of all, the pizza isn’t great; I don’t order here because their pizza is the best. I ordered from here because they have a great party size pizza that is perfect for large parties. They told me it would take 45 minutes to come — fine. We were hungry, but we were fine to wait. The pizza took over 2HOURS. It was unbearable and they never called to say sorry or let us know what was going on. I continue to tell all my friends and family to never order from here again, end I will now tell all of you the same. There are PLENTY of other great Wallingford pizza restaurants to choose from. You don’t need to deal with awful service. If you’re new in town, try amore(cheap, free delivery), trackside(unique, excellent pizza), Serafino’s(great Italian food, awesome pizza), or even hometown(best buffalo chicken pizza).

I sometimes stop in here to grab a few slices. You can get 2 slices of pizza and a can of soda for $ 2.50. The pizza is pretty standard. Thin, hard crust. Typical italian pizza you may say. Definitely not the best in town, but it’s fairly decent.
