I needed to get a primary doctor to give me clearance for my surgery. As I had not been to my primary dr. in years, I tried to find one quickly that was in my area. My first visit with Dr. Krystyna Szewczyk-​Szczech was 3 hours and most of the time was just waiting for her to see me. It is ridiculous to have to wait 1 ½ to 2 hrs to see a doctor! I had to come back for blood work and instead of giving me the results over the phone she made me come back in. After waiting 1 ½ hrs. for her to come into the examining room, my fiancé and I complained that was the 2^nd time we’ve been there and the wait was outrageous both times. Her exact words in her broken polish accent were «please find new doctor». Then we mentioned how unprofessional she was taking phone calls on her cell phone when she was in the room with us and her next response was «I need silence to concentrate»!!! I found her very unprofessional and rude and would NEVER go back again. I just want to add that the ONLY reason we waited that long without leaving was because my surgery was in 1 week so I had to get clearance a.s.a.p. Also, between the first and second visit she sent me to a pulmonary dr and we were in and out of his office (and he is a specialist) in about ½ hr and he faxed the clearance form right after we left his office! Now he is someone I would highly recommend.
