Stingers Classic Grill

This place replaced our local dinner as our standard «go to spot». I love the Filet Migon burger and my wife goes for the chicken parm sandwich.

If your looking for a quick bite, stingers had great options. The calamari was just average. I got the penne vodka pasta which was pretty good. The server was good hence the 4star. but minus 1 star for the food. Its not HORRIBLE, but its not the best. Not something I would again, but if I had no choice, I would not MIND stopping in there. Though they have a great atmosphere and I heard that it can get very busy.

Bartender made a perfect Black and Tan had a few apps all were really good the filet mignon tips stood out for me. Over all really good dining experience will return.

Really Solid American fare…
Normally, I would give you the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Stinger’s is all good. It’s not the French Laundry, but for what it is, where it is, it’s perfect.
Walking in a bit late on a Tuesday night, it was fairly quiet. Dark atmosphere, kind of romantic to me. The only down side was that they have TVs in places I would not have placed them. In the bar makes sense to me, but the dining room really doesn’t need them. At least they weren’t loud. Being nit-​picky there. -.001 star.
The atmosphere was quiet, and we were asked to seat ourselves. The seating was comfy enough.
Our server was quick and very friendly, without being over the top syrupy. Very efficient and pleasant. 5 stars there.
The menu leans fairly Italian, but they have a nice variety. The food was really good. We both ordered off of the specials menu, and we both enjoyed our dinners. Served with warm bread and a «just right» sized app salad. GF had fish and chips, and I had a sausage plate special (2 different sausages, apple sauce, potato pancakes, sauerkraut.) Everything was just right. Not over the top, not super fancy, just hearty American style cooking. Prices were appropriate.
It got a little busier as we were leaving, which is a good sign. I wouldn’t expect a huge crowd on a Tuesday anyway!
So all in all, Stinger’s gets a very Solid 4.999 stars. Heck, let’s round it up. 5 stars!!! I would not hesitate to eat there again.

The time I spent here was absolutely exquisite. It’s like the only thing that the entire staff knew was fine dining and breathing. The food was absolutely delectable and I was served by this absolutely drop dead gorgeous waitress named Katlynn. She made our entire night because she was so helpful and friendly. Even though this place is a little bit out of range for me in terms of distance I will definitely be returning more frequently because my experience here was definitely worth it. I will one thousand percent recommend this place to my close friends and family.

This review might seem biased since I currently work there. However, I came in as a customer first and really loved the food. Getting the opportunity to work there is a bonus. Most people love the rare ahi tuna or the shrimps, but I’m allergic to shellfish so I personally LOVE the filet mignon tips for appetizer. The sandwiches are also really good, especially the bbq chicken sandwich. And for dinner, eggplant parm or open sliced filet mignon is amazing.

Love this place! Ray’s Spicy Shrimp, nachos and Pierogi are our go-​to appetizers. Their turkey burger is my favorite and Rigatoni Ravetini is awesome!

Love this place! I’ve been here a lot and it’s pizza and apps r awesome! The steak tips app r my favorite so far! The bartenders, servers, and cooks are all nice ppl and I love the mom and pop feel to it. You can come here for a meal or just a drink and have a good time.

The food was amazing. You didn’t even need a knife to cut the filet. The price was perfect, as was the service, and a beautiful atmosphere. Really all around great place.

I’ve come here a bunch of times for lunch. I usually get their salads which are good. The pizza is also decent. My friends enjoy getting their filet mignon cheesesteaks.
They have a small parking lot in the side.
We normally call ahead so they can have the food ready for us when we arrive, and they are always ready for us!

I have eaten here several times and had nothing but good things to say until my meal there last evening. It was empty, 1 other couple in there and a full staff. They were all too busy talking amongst each other to get our drinks and they messed up the order. The ray’s spicy shrimp which is usually delicious seemed like it was a double fried left overs and smelled very fishy. My husband returned his entrée because it was a blob of grease and was not edible. The only decent things were the drinks and salad. It’s a shame because we were looking forward to a good meal and it was anything but. We won’t be going back anytime soon.

Love their soups especially the sausage and bean one they do on Sundays. So many restaurants over salt their soups but Stingers has a light hand with salt and let’s the fresh herbs and vegetables do their job. If you see the eggplant appetizer on their special menu go for it because it is wonderful!
They have really nice lunch specials on the weekend not sure if they do them during the week but totally delicious! We are fans of their chicken wings. Their cheese steak sandwich is my son’s favorite. Their open steak sandwich is my favorite because it is always cooked perfectly. They have a nice selection of wines and the staff is attentive. I have no idea about their dessert menu because we are always too full for dessert
Usually I am not a big fan of sports bars, but this place does a nice job of being both a cozy family restaurant with ambiance and a sports bar. Neither section seems overly cramped or overwhelms the other side. The place is well staffed and the tables/​booths well spaced. I really like the balance achieved because on any given night you see couples, families, and colleagues all enjoying a nice meal. In the bar you also see a nice mix of people.

Really terrific food and service. Onion rings were outstanding. I was a bit of a pain in the ass as my order came out with some extra cheese on it that I wasn’t expecting. They totally understood and accommodated in re-​doing it.
I’d definitely come back, good spot.

Excellent food !!! If you love shrimp you must get the rays spicy shrimp… they are to die for. Jumbo shrimp placed on a sea of spice and basil sauce. The head chef clinton also gives the ultimate dining experience and has put such creative touches into his menu .
Really friendly staff here that give great suggestions for an even more enjoyable experience.

Steaks and the best onion shoe strings … It’s been around since I can remember… Small intimate dinner for two why not. They got a nice bar for a cold beer or a glass of wine that is good for your heart.

Ray’s Spicy Shrimp and Long Hots have been my preferred starters for years. Follow that up with a pizza — either the regular tomato pie — cheese, sauce, crust — or the white pie with sausage. Crust is a bit lacking could be lighter, airier but it great to sop up the leftover sauce from the spicy shrimp.
A great local bar/​restaurant to watch a game at the bar or sit with the family in the dining room.

Horrible, horrible burgers. I gave this place a second chance after having a really bad meal about a year ago. Bad decision. My burger had a really strange Constancy. I sent it back. The shrimp appetizer was in a pool of oil. Never again.

It has become our cozy Thursday or Friday fare. You cannot beat their specials and My husband I shared their Filet Mignon Special. We could not believe that 2 beautful peices of filet, perfectly cooked were delicious. Cannot wait for our next visit…

A little history: This is the old «Stingers Sports Bar and Grill.» The original owner sold it some time back and the new guy basically ruined it. It closed down in March of 2012. Ed came back and reopened the place for a week in October but got shut down by Sandy. After the storm he reopened again in early November.
We’ve been trying to get back here since I noticed they were open again a couple of weeks ago but haven’t been able to get near the place.
Tonight we managed to get in and get a table in want was still a relatively packed house.
Mike is back in the kitchen, The old menu is back, and the food is as good as ever.
