If you wanna get your hair done and look pretty than try to make an appointment with Crystal Morgan. She is great as a stylist, especially with color correction. My hair were partially copper, partially blond with natural roots. After 2 hr of service I look like a new person with natural blond, low lights and none of my hair its destroyed. She use good hair products and color. Love it!

This review is for Larry, Alicia, Robin, Summer, and Jayman.
I’ve received services from all of these hair stylists and am always so satisfied! They all manage to create exactly the look I ask for. I have blonde hair which can be pretty tricky, it always comes out perfect without any brass and is the perfect shade of ashy blonde that I ask for. I’ve had my hair colored by Alicia and Larry, both of them do an AMAZING job.
Jayman is always amazing when he shampoos/​blows out my hair. Same with Robin, he gives an amazing head rub!
I have not personally gotten my nails done by Summer, however, I’ve seen her work, and its always beautiful, she is a very talented nail artist.
The salon is beautiful and clean. The lounge concept is awesome. Its so nice to have a glass of wine while getting your hair done.
If I could give this place 6 stars, I would.

Had an appointment today at noon. I walked into an amazing staff, where I was greeted so politely. I book my appointments with Tera who has been doing my hair for years. She always does a phenomenal job! The cut, and color is perfect every time, I definitely enjoyed my time there with her! I’m so excited to return!

Jamin has been doing my hair now for a while and I absolutely love him! I had him do my hair for my wedding and it was perfect! Exactly what I had envisioned. Jamin makes the whole experience amazing!

I was home for a week and needed a last minute straightening treatment! Beauty Lounge squeezed me in with Robin. He was amazing. He knew his products and was a joy to hang with during my 3 hour treatment.
Also, did I mention there is a full bar and cool ambiance?!

After going to Aveda for years, spending a fortune for mediocre results I was ready for a change. I found this «gem» of a salon on line. The concept of this salon was pure genius, then I read the reviews (which were amazing) that sealed it for me! I waited a long 2 months to get in to see Larry, which was so worth the wait. My experience and end result were the best I have ever had!
Larry and Jamin were so welcoming and fun. Jamin was interactive and attentive, I very much enjoyed our conversations! After my initial consultation, I immediately felt that Larry was beyond competed that I found myself saying to him «do what ever you want to my hair» –which I NEVER say. Not only was he a fabulous colorist, he cut off about 4 inches and gave me a gorgeous cut that was easy to maintain. My hair experience a fabulous one, I loved seeing the other stylists interact, they all seemed to genuinely like each other. Everyone was laughing, helping out and collaborating with regards to their clients.
I especially enjoyed drinking sparkling wine while in the dryer chatting with a fellow patron. While my hair was processing, they spoiled my daughter and styled her hair. It made her entire day! We had so much fun. Even my husband was so happy with the end results that he was more than ok waiting in the lobby for the last hour while we chatted. I am so looking forward to my next appointment and a catch up with these guys. :)
You would be happy to get any of these highly talented stylists!

This place is great. Neomi and Mark are great and know their business. I have tried other salons both less and more expensive, but I always come back because I am never disappointed with my cut and color. I now pledge loyalty to Beauty Lounge.

Last week I went in for highlights/​lowlights and a cut. Today, I am going into a new salon to have my hair fixed. The cut was the worst cut I have ever received. In fact, it looks like my four year old took the scissors to the back of my hair.
I am pretty sure the stylist knew her service was horrible just by the way she kept say…“do you like it?” She had another client waiting and she was in a hurry. All this after they asked me to come in later for my appointment.
Maybe I should have let her fix my hair, but honestly I am scared to have her touch my hair again… That is how bad my hair looks.

This is LONG over due! If you are looking for a detail-​oriented manicurist who works in a professional, fun, clean environment then you need to try Summer Lee! She is am AMAZING manicurist — she uses clean, clean, clean tools and work area; she is a perfectionist and a try artist; and she is friendly, fun, and a great person to just sit and chat with! I usually go to her for shellac but she also does the BEST pedicures ever!
The salon is amazing! Mimosa’s with you service is always a plus!
As a side note, I planned my sisters 13^th bday party here. The manicurists did a $ 10 nail polish change for each girl and they each also got a shirley temple to feel super pampered! It was a great experience for them!

Love, love, love this place!!! Everyone is so nice and fun! I was looking for a new stylist for cut and color and based on the reviews I made an appointment with Larry Paskow. Larry is THE BEST!!! He spent time with me before beginning to understand what color I was looking for and the cut. Based on the pics I saw posted by Larry and his clients I let him decide what was best and I couldn’t be happier!!! I have never felt so good leaving a salon before!!! So glad I found him!!!

I decided to try Robin at the beauty lounge and was beyond satisfied. I was really nervous about getting my hair done because it seems like I always hate something about it. I have been to multiple salons in walnut creek and they have always done an awful job. Robin was so amazing and he really listened to what I wanted. He was also honest about what he could and couldn’t do because of my previous hair color which I really appreciated. I would recommend this salon to anyone wanting a great experience.

These people know customer service!
My sister-​in-​law booked 4 mani-​pedis here the day before my wedding. Somehow the scheduling was mixed up and when I called to tell them we were running a few minutes late I was told that the appointment was for the next day – during the wedding! The man on the phone said they were booked but we decided to stop in just to see if we could sort something out. The manager was SO nice. She re-​arranged appointments and got all 4 of us taken care of with some of the nicest manicurists I’ve ever had. She treated us to a round of mimosas and discounted our last bottle of champagne when they didn’t have the one we wanted available.
My sister-​in-​law even got a text from the girl who originally booked the appointment apologizing for making it on the wrong day.

Vanessa is amazing!
I decided to book an appointment with her because there are so many good reviews about her and pictures of her beautiful hair work on Unilocal.She definitely exceeded my expectations. She is experienced, knowledgeable, and sweet! Vanessa knew exactly what I wanted and even gave me the right advice on how to take care of my hair! My hair feels so smooth and healthy. I am extremely happy with my hair and I can’t wait until my next appointment with her. :)

I relocated to Walnut Creek from Los Angeles nearly 3 years ago. I had a such difficulty finding a stylist that is good with coloring and dealing with lots of hair (thick). I’ve gone to a several salons and they give me some boring blonde highlights color and such. I just needed a radical change. If I need a best blonde color or highlights; I always have to go to Los Angeles for that since stylists have more experiences doing those stuff.
Crystal Morgan moved to Walnut Creek from Los Angeles nearly 10 years ago and we totally hit off. She has a thick hair herself as well so she knew exactly what she was doing: DRY CUT! I’ve been desperately asking around for any stylists who knew how do dry cuts. NONE. Some have never heard of it. Dry cut is best recommended for thick and lots of hair because you can see the movements better.
The salon owner, Mark, took his time to chat with me and had a pleasant conversation. This salon is deaf friendly. It means some do know sign language to communicate. I don’t but it was nice to see that as an option.

Vanessa is the best! She’s been doing my hair for 3 years now & every time she does an amazing job. She goes over and beyond my expectations.
She is also an incredible makeup artist. I’ve gone to her for numerous events and have been really happy with my makeup. On top of everything she’s really sweet & is a great conversationalist!

This place is super posh, and from a guy who is quite used to haircuts in the $ 15-​$ 25 range… paying $ 45 for a haircut seemed ridiculous… but Robin turned that thought around. Robin was VERY receptive to my requests, made thoughtful suggestions, and snipped me up proper. As an Asian male, sometimes it is EXTREMELY hard to find a barber or hairstylist that can work with the black thickness that grows on my dome, but Robin did a terrific job and I feel like a million bucks with the outstanding cut.
¹⁰⁄₁₀ would get snipped here again… damn that pocket book is getting real thin real fast…

This review is long over due! My hairdresser Trinity knows my hair! Took me a long time to find someone that actually understands my hair.
Before finding her I had a really bad haircut and she was able to fix it. She is easy to talk to and loves to help out in «CRISIS» hair! :)

The atmosphere in this place was fantastic, the entire staff was really upbeat & friendly.
My review is for Trinity. She was really nice and easy to talk to, but based on my visit, did not seem experienced enough to be cutting hair professionally.
Here is why:
1. My hair came out longer on one side than the other. (Enough so that my husband noticed-that’s saying something!)
2. She did not cut my hair to the length I asked for or in the style I asked for. (I even brought pictures in to show her)
3. She cut herself while cutting my hair (& drew blood!), which is understandable if you are unexperienced, but should not happen in a professional environment.
To top it off, I was expecting to pay $ 65 for this appointment as that is what she lists her price as on their website for a cut and blow dry. She charged me $ 80.
Ultimately, I went into this appointment hoping for a fun and drastic change and came out with a very costly & uneven trim.

I love this place so much.
The girls and I went for a mani/​pedi and this place does not disappoint. In looking at the hair techs– their hair game is on point as well. All three nail techs were fabulous and totally explained everything they were doing. Cute color, relaxing atmosphere and the girls loved their wine. Convenient location with lots of parking, a starbucks and a fro-​yo spot.
They also have a make up artist very excited about that possibility.
All of the staff was very friendly and patient…

It is hard not to feel in awe of this place’s decoration and overall ambiance. It is so chic, modern, sophisticated, and yet cool. I have been coming here for sugaring.
Sugaring is similar to waxing but only better. It exfoliates as it removes your unwanted hairs. Kelli is super fast and seems to know the technique very well. She is very attentive and only uses top of the line products. Additionally, she offers the numbing spray. I am sold.
I had my hair done at some point with one of the hairdressers. It was okay… I didn’t feel like he was interested in hearing what I wanted as he didn’t ask. I went with it to see what he would do… I was not impressed but my hubby liked it so go figure. He used this style of blow drying your hair and rolling combs to your hair. I had a lot of volume in the end so that was kinda nice but the overall look just looked «slept in»… So maybe I am just a tad picky about my hair.
I had my nails done as well. It was nice to get my nails done, get a massage and drink a mimosa. The quality of the nails was okay. It is slightly pricey. Nothing stood out for complaints or for compliments if that makes any sense. It was just okay.
Now, here is my reasoning for the five stars:
–ambiance: beautiful, clean, and sophisticated.
— excellent customer service.
–BAR: yes. They have a bar inside of the lounge. :)
–sugaring is done to perfection.
