These were outstanding chicken wings. Marinated with oriental and Latin flavors, wings remain tender and crusty. Gourmet wings on the plate. You’ll be hard~pressed to find a more flavorful example of how good wings can taste. My only critique would be that there are not 8,10, or 12 wings.

$ 3 Chips that should have come with my app & $ 17 bowl of noodles with about 3 oz. of chicken. Nickel and dime… Food was good– 3 stars. I won’t take that away. However 2 adults and a 5 year old shouldn’t be over $ 200. Way too expensive! –Got the ceviche with a cup full of chips and had to order extra chips to finish the ceviche and was charged $ 3. I get more at any local Mexican restaurant. Please just include more chips in the original cost, don’t nickel & dime me. –Ordered an off menu item for my 5 year old. Got the bill and it was $ 17. Garlic Noodles and a little bit of chicken. Leave the child at home or share your food. I don’t mind paying but this was a little bit unreasonable if you ask me. I can see why they may struggle a little bit. People don’t want to be nickel and dimed! We like fine dining and will pay for it but come on! I give the service an 8, friendly enough and the wine choice was excellent. Again, overpricing doesn’t equal good…

Went there for their new lunch menu last week. The cheese steak sandwich was great. My wife raved about the kale salad. Service was fine. Try it; you’ll like it.

Do yourself a huge favor and come to Eleve! Hands down best cocktails ever… and not just for this side of the tunnel, even including places in SF. Quan(hope i spelled that right) is truly a mixologist master! Every cocktail is truly balanced and amazing! I recommend Eleve to all of my clients and they all fall in love. Its so nice to have a amazing bar to go to in Walnut Creek! The drinks are worth every penny, because its all about quality and not quantity! Food is great too, and atmosphere is great!

Overall: good cocktails, good food, very bad service. We purchased a TravelZoo discounted meal for 6 and went for a friend’s birthday. The place was perhaps half-full, yet our cocktails arrived 10 minutes after our quite good appetizers were delivered. «There’s a big party outside and they were ahead of you.» OK — fine — then why didn’t you ask us if we wanted to hold food orders until after the drinks? Our server wasn’t very good at making us feel welcomed; nor did she give us any sense of control over our experience that night. Perhaps it was because she was guaranteed a 20% tip?(Required for tables of 5 or more — since when did restaurants start with that policy with fewer than 8 people??) She had no incentive to actually serve us. So she didn’t. And there was no manager in sight — perhaps he was the bar tender? Who knows. It’ll be a long time before we even think about going back, which is too bad because the décor is quite nice and most of the food was good, especially the appetizers.

This review is based solely on the drinks. They serve a legit Pisco Sour, so there’s not much more to say.

I’ve been wanting to try this place out for quite some time, so so glad I did! First of all, this place is kind of in an odd location but doesn’t take away from the ambiance! Beautiful restaurant(2 levels) great lighting! The food was to die for, the arugula salad was so awesome, shrimp ceviche and the spring rolls were on par! Service was excellent! Best part was the cocktails! Fantastic presentation and taste was amazing! Main dishes were just as delish, We got the coconut curry chicken and the steak with green beans! This place is a must go! Can’t wait to go back!

We bought a Travelzoo deal dinner for four people. At $ 95, it was touted as a significant savings over the menu prices. All I can say is that even at $ 95 the dinner was overpriced for what we got. Not a single dish stood out as particularly good, though a couple were definitely bad. I know I only have myself to blame for ordering ceviche at a Vietnamese restaurant, but Élevé’s version is small, whole cooked shrimp awash in a very sweet chili sauce(tasted bottled) with jalapeño, tomato, cucumber and ginger that completely overwhelmed the shrimp. This was probably a good thing because the shrimp had a tough, rubbery texture so I can’t imagine it had much flavor to speak of. To make things worse, the chips that came with the ceviche were stale. Our other appetizer was some sort of spring roll. 2 small rolls are $ 10 on the menu, and though the description says they are filled with chicken, shrimp and wood ear mushrooms, the filling is so finely ground I wasn’t able to make out much of anything. A total waste of money. My shrimp and eggplant dish was fine, but my partner’s beef with green beans(at $ 22, the most expensive item on the menu) was a small portion of something that looked and tasted like it could be served at Panda Express. My stepson’s stuffed calamari tasted like the only seasonings were salt and huge amounts of pepper. Seriously, the only thing I tasted in this dish was pepper. When my daughter ordered the pork hot pot, the waitress told her that it was traditionally served with rice, and suggested that she order some. If it’s a traditional accompaniment, why not serve it alongside, instead of charging an additional $ 3 for a small serving of brown rice? Oh, and speaking of getting nickel-and-dimed, my stepson ordered a diet coke with his meal, which cost $ 3. When the waitress asked if he wanted another, he said yes, and we didn’t stop him, because we were totally unaware that the refill would cost an additional $ 3. So yes, $ 6 for 2 glasses of diet coke for 1 person. Wow. Since we were charged tax on the full value of what we ordered, our bill came to $ 25, plus the $ 95 we had already paid through Travelzoo. With tip, that ended up being a LOT of money for a pretty poor dining experience. Needless to say, we won’t be returning to Élevé.

Eleve is the place to go for drinks in Walnut Creek! Their cocktails are artfully created to amaze the pallet you and your friends. My favorite part about the experience at Eleve are the bartenders who remember your name, your favorite drink, and are truly interested in giving you the best possible experience. When I have friends in town this is the place I take them to show off the best of Walnut Creek! You can thank me later for telling you about this GEM :) Best drink on the menu is the«Dark and Stormy», you can’t possibly just have one.

Seriously, hand carved ice? Does it make a difference? Yes! Start the education now. The cocktails are so amazingly good. Really, make it a point to have the drinks. These are lovingly created and probably the best in the Bay Area. The atmosphere is chic, modern, sexy, and inviting. The food — something as boring as BBQ’d chicken on a salad? I thought, no way! but my dinner companions wanted to order it. OMG, it was totally to die for. You get a half a chicken that has been marinated in lemon grass garlic salty spicy deliciousness with the perfect caramelization on the skin. Thank you dinner people, for ordering something so boring that turned out to be SOGOOD. All of the other dishes are tasty too, we gobbled them up. We come here often for business lunches, for after dinner drinks with friends, for dinner for GNO, and just to have a good time. Highly recommend all around.

This is a a great place to go when the weather is nice as they have a good amount of outdoor sitting to accommodate small groups of 2 – 3 people. I really enjoy the upscale ambience. My favorite things to get here are the banh mi(vietnamese sandwich), they have three too chose from and also the baby Bok Choi. Well you’re there make sure you try one of their handcrafted cocktails, they have an ample amount of these house cocktails. So if you’re looking for a place that’s a little bit more upscale and quiet than the surrounding lounges/bars this is your place to go.

I’ve been here for drinks a number of times(they have a great bar, stock good quality bourbons and ryes, so i’m in for that alone.) Tried dinner there for the first time, there were three of us, we got(to share): Spicy meat balls The chicken Curry dish The filet mignon dish The pork dish Garlic edamame We all agreed the spicy meatballs and chicken curry were the best things there Filet was very good. Pork was good, but was almost a soup/broth with some pork in it(they had us get rice to go with it.) Definitely get the meatballs and chicken curry. For drinks, we did Brooklyns, which are manhattan like, wife got the Hudson(which is fantastic but pricey as expected) for the rye, I got Mitchners, which I like straight and wasn’t as good in the brooklyn. Definitely will go back.

This review is an update for their food. We ‘ve been going to Elévé for a few years now for the ambience and amazing hand crafted drinks! Recently we have had some late night appetizers and been very impressed with their food as well. So good! Their edamame has an amazing sauce drizzled on it, amazing chicken wings and ribs, and the bf of course had to try their prawns and loved it! This is definitely a great spot for intimate date night. Great food, amazing drinks, and a lovely ambience.

Went in for a couple drinks, and I was blown away. I had the Moscow mule first and ended the night with an elder sour. I was extremely impressed with the Moscow mule and probably is the best I’ve ever had. The elder sour was by far my favorite. They mix great drinks, bartenders are extremely friendly, courteous, knowledgable, and attentive. The atmosphere is very low-key, great atmosphere and a good place to grab a drink, talk and have a relaxing time. Quan was a great bartender. I would give it five stars but I haven’t tried they’re food.

****GREATFORSUNDAYBRUNCH*****(see brunch review below) Excellent cocktails, creative and inventive and the BEST bartenders in town! Service deserves 6 stars, cocktails deserve 7. Quoung(also the owner) and Pedro behind the bar make a killer cocktail team. They serve hand-crafted retro cocktails with a sophisticated twist, using their own house-, made syrups, bitters, and liqueurs. I’m boring and typically stick with my normal Hangar One martini but I have tried several of their specialty cocktails as well and they are excellent! Not overly sweet, perfectly balanced flavors and unique twists. My favorites are the Dark and Stormy(SO light and refreshing and the twist of orange gives off an intoxiating floral aroma which futher enhances the experience) and the Bourbon cocktail(watch out, it packs a punch!). We’ve had several of the bar bites and I’ve been very impressed. The taro chips with a mint yogurt dipping sauce are SO yummy(and crazy addictive!). I also love their spring rolls, both the fresh ones and crispy imperial rolls. Lots of flavor and packed full of crisp veggies. The interior is beautifully designed. It’s a place where you could be comfy at the bar in shorts and flip flops or get dressed up and enjoy a romantic upscale evening. ****************** BRUNCH: I give this 5 stars as well! Their menu is simple but the dishes fit their unique vietnamese style. I had the eggs benedict and I will say that it is one of the best benedicts I have ever had. Instead of the traditional canadian bacon they use crispy pancetta, which adds a touch of sweetness to the dish. The eggs were perfect, the grilled tomatos added nice acidity and brightness and the hollandaise was the perfect consistency and had excellent flavor. The breakfast potatoes(with grilled onions and peppers) were declious– great texture and flavor. My honey had the Bahn Mi and LOVED it! I tried a bite and was very impressed. It was simple, not over-stuffed but had the perfect balance of meat to crisp and bright veggies. It was served with a side of the taro chips and mint yogurt sauce, most of which I gobbled up. And the best part? HUGE mimosas. And I mean HUGE! If you’re going to name it a «HUGE mimosa» on your menu, you had better deliver. And they do! The glass was the size of my head, no joke. You can choose between fresh-squeezed oranje juice, fresh squeezed grapefruit juice or cranberry juice. They use good quality sparkling wine as well. Excellent value, excellent breakfast drink!

Évevé continues to be my favorite cocktail spot for a few reasons Taste*Quality of ingredients* Consistency. If you fall in love with a drink there, you never have to worry if your favorite bartender is available to make it the way you like it. That’s always been my experience before & it’s refreshing to know that I’m going to get what I order every time. Vibe* Even if it’s a busy night,(which it always is when I decide to go) I always get the VIP service & I never feel rushed. My water glass is always filled. And a lot of care is put in to every detail. It’s a perfect place to unwind after a long week or to start the night off right. It’s not so pretentious that I would feel uncomfortable dressing down in jeans & a T-shirt, yet I could wear a fancy gown and fit right in. Hospitality* Kwon & Pedro are mixology geniuses & Michelle is an artist of food. They’re some of the finest people I’ve known in the food/drink industry. It’s no surprise that the rest of the friendly staff are also of the same caliber. Some of favorite drinks: **Torres cocktail — Rye whiskey based, nice balance of sweet & tart with a little kick(bitters)** Brooklyn — my «man drink» perfect for winter **Aruba — like a lemon meringue pie** Whiskey sour — recent favorite(ask for it on the rocks) Moscow Mule — refreshing & crisp great for the hot days **not on menu yet, just ask ;) ENJOY

I ordered the Calamari, Cube Filet Mignon and a Green Flash IPA out of SD, the secor and ambiance definitely says Yuppy, or date night. The Calamari had just enough kick to it and were large, yet a small serving. The Filet was simple extravagant, I get my steak Medium and this one melted in my mouth, even though there was barely any meat and nothing else, it was superb! To the grand finale, the Green Flash IPA was breathtaking, rated number 2 on the CAIPA list and rightfully so. I will definitely come back to this place, if given the chance.

The food was excellent, the service was spot on, and the drinks were tasty as well. My only complaint is the price point… a little steep for the quantity of food. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t feel like I was taken, but it just seemed a bit steep. You should still go and get some ridiculous prawns!
