Talk about some unique delicious food! Haven’t had a bad dish from these guys. All meats are seasoned perfectly and the Persian Fries are a must!

Kabobs for the win here. I like their lamb chops. It was gamey to the bone and well seasoned. You can ask for multiple sauces that they offer on the menu to test try and they don’t mind providing.

Had the salad with ground beef kabob fresh and delicious and goes well with craft beer. The lemon dressing was delicious and matched well with the lettuce and tomatoes and beef kabobs. Great value for 8.50 and very filling. Service was quick.

Tried them at off the grid on a Tuesday night in walnut creek around 5:30pm. Purchased a chicken wrap and fries. The wrap is definitely not worth $ 10.50 for 2 pieces of chicken, mainly iceberg lettuce and what looked like tomato skins. The advertisement said onion, basil, mint, and I believe cucumber, all were not included. The chicken was good, moist and flavorful but that could not save their wrap. I don’t need to go back, very overpriced and advertised items were not included.

I got the Koobi Plate a couple of days ago in El Cerrito. It’s way overpriced and the kabob was okay. They advertised Basmati rice but it was not Basmati rice, I think it was Jasmine(short-grained) rice. There was barely any food on the plate, the portions were very small and for $ 14.50($ 12.50 for the plate and $ 2.00 for a can of soda) I can get a nice platter from a Persian restaurant.

I found them in Fremont tonight and they are now my favorite food truck! I ordered the 3 bone rack of lamb with Persian fries and my heart skipped a beat! The lamb was cooked a perfect medium rare! I am so tired in Turkish and Afganie places that the lamb is well done! With Fremont known for Lil Kabul, I have to get a proper lamb from a food truck! Please open a restaurant close by!

Updated: I was contacted by the owner the same day that I posted this. He was very nice and apologized for everything that happened. He also said they had a team meeting and everyone felt very bad and wanted to apologize. He gave me his email and number if I needed anything. He gave me a full refund as well. Overall, I am glad he took my review seriously and I will come back definitely. Nice to see a place value there customers like this one.

Alright. Today I got the Persian fries and the koobideh wrap and it was a total waste of money. Six dollars for those fries? You gotta be kidding me. Yeah sure it has some slight edge to it but not for the price. The koobideh wrap was dry with the meat tasting like it had been microwaved. I’d give two stars if the price weren’t so ridiculous.

Another food truck I tried. My co worker said to try them and they offer dishes as a kabob, wrap, or plate or salad. I decided to go with their Koobi Wrap. Wow, the ingredients were fresh and delicious. The lettuce was great, but the basil and other greens really stood out. The meet was done right as well. They guys were friendly. Food took about 5 minutes, so you know it is fresh cooked. $ 10 is kinda steep, but the wrap I got was not tiny either. Overall, good food and I will try their other dishes next time.

Stopped by here because it was outside the Pleasant Hill Bart(I’m starting to really like these Friday’s). The people working there were very nice and I decided to order a Sikhs Kabob Wrap with mild spicy sauce. It was a bit of a wait to get the food(8 minutes or so), but boy did I like this! First off the beef they use is great and is definitely not small pieces it’s some huge pieces! The wrap is nice and fresh tasting and very filling. My only gripe is that the place is kinda pricey it came out to $ 12 bucks which is common I know for food trucks, but I felt it easily coulda been $ 10 or less. Overall, I enjoyed this and definitely would recommend giving them a look!

Kabab koobideh was really good. It wasn’t as strongly seasoned as I like but no real complaints. I also had the Persian fries with sauce on the side, the sauce was kind of spicy and really delicious. It made the meal for sure.

Grab & Go is underrated, and it’s not even close. The Koobideh Persian Fries(ground beef kabob) is my definition of a go-to food truck dish: it has all your«important» food groups(fries, cheese, and meat) and it’s topped with a flavorful sauce. I could eat the Koobideh by itself, and if they had a rice plate option, I’d probably order that every time. I’ve only seen this food truck at the OtG in Emeryville, but I wish it set up shop in other parts of the North Bay/SF/Peninsula more often.

Grab & Go Kabob is simply amazing, complete with a diverse menu that’s perfect for heavy or light appetites. The service is honest and true and the food is absolutely delicious and unique and represents savory Iranian street food that will have you licking your fingers and wanting more. Check them out if your looking for a culinary adventure and something different, I promise the succulent food and astounding service is worth it. Definetly check out the Koobi Persian Frys, a huge boat of frys topped with basil, tomatoes, and moist crumbled feta and 2 ground beef skewers, it’s my favorite.

I caught Grab & Go Kabob at the Concord’s Off the Grid. Although I have only had their Persian Fries as of late, I haven’t missed my Persian Fires when I am at Off the Grid. The sauce is addictingly delicious! First off, you start with a properly cooked fries. In itself it is almost as if it were a seasoned as opposed to a regular fry. Then you add feta cheese, tomatoes, and cilantro, your starting to have something Mediterranean going. Add their awesome orange sauce and bam(!), you have a delicious fries me, my nephew, my daughter, and my wife likes. Next time, I will try their plate/wraps. I do see in some Unilocal pics that you can custom order too, coolness.

So far I’ve only tried the Persian fries from the truck but I would get it again… The help is super nice and friendly it made the wait more variable and entertaining. I wasn’t sure if I wanted fries or a wrap so the gentleman suggested I get the Persian fries with the choobi meat for a total of $ 8.50. Plus a star, unlike other trucks they don’t charge a fee for using your credit card :) Plus another star I saw someone else do it so I asked for extra sauce that goes on the Persian fries, I think it’s some sort of spicy aoli sauce. Plus for the flavor of the fries itself. There was some sort of Cajun seasoning on the fries then drenched with feta, basil, tomato, the aoli sauce, and your choice of meat of you choose I add it. The fries were just right. Crispy without being burnt and not soggy. The flavors blend well and the extra side of sauce is great(I live wet fries and I love sauces). I liked the choobi(chicken) meat. I may want to try the others the next time the truck is around. Only downside was the wait to receive food was super long… And the line to line up either to order or to pick up was a bit disheveled and confusing… If you see the truck around I would def try the Persian fries though :)

We had the pleasure of a new truck at Bishop Ranch 3 today. Hooray for kabobs! Really the thing I was most impressed with was their customer service. Having someone stand out front and really interact with the customer was great. It made it easy to ask questions and just generally communicate with the restaurant on wheels. The kabob was good enough to go back to. I got the kabob wrap which included beef tip, green peppers, red onions, and sauce all wrapped together. There were about 6 – 7 chunks of beef, and tons of veggies, in fact enough wrap and veggies that I didn’t finish it all. The beef was good, a touch on the bland side, not dry at all.
