Awesome! I go here all the time for my pedicures. They take their time and do an excellent job.

This place is always hit or miss. The manicures are pretty decent in my past experiences — However the pedicures have been sub-par. Today was disappointing. I received a pedi from an older gentleman — –the color didn’t cover the nail in some places and on other areas he didn’t clean nail polish off the skin. It looks messy and unprofessional. The people who work here work very hard and I respect that. Maybe I will come back and give this place another chance in the future.

This will be the last time I visit this salon. Knowing that it was a Saturday, I made an appointment at 5. The pedicure took all of 10 minutes and was painful. I had to ask the man to stop a few times because he was filing so vigorously, he actually filed skin off of my toes. The manicure was decent, but I have two fingers with polish all over the sides. I had visited a few times before, and was happy with service. They only charged me for a polish on my toes, but the polish has already chipped.

This review is not about their services, as I did not get my nails done here but let me tell you why I am writing this review. I don’t normally get my nails done but my girlfriends and I were planning a girls day and I was in charge of making the mani/pedi appointment. Unfortunately, when I called KV nail salon to get a quote/book an appointment for 6 girls, the man who picked up the phone was rude and said he was too busy to answer my questions when I was asking for a quote for a mani/pedi and hung up on me when I was still speaking. He just lost 6 nail appointments and lost my interest in ever giving this place a try. if their customer service is that rude over the phone, I can’t imagine their services. What a disappointment…

This place was a perfect spot for my daughter to start off her birthday with her cousin and friends, I mean what 8 year old girl doesn’t like to get their nails painted. The nail technicians were wonderful with the girls and treated them like customers should be treated. Even though was just a color change, they accommodated our group in a timely fashion. My daughter and her crew loved it and I think we just started a trend. I can’t wait to o back for a big girl mani and pedi. Review 2016 #6 out of 100

I have not gone back to this place for a while but when I did 3 weeks ago I got this older guy named Michael. He did my mani and pedi and did such a horrible job. It’s a joke how he did the cleaning part of my toenails. Couple of strokes with his pusher and a couple of strokes with his brush and done. He cut my toe nails uneven, the massage was nothing to speak off like he was going through the motion. And he kept on saying«if you don’t like something, let me know». I will not say anything rude but when I get poor service and I am paying so much money($ 50) for mani and pedi not including tip, I am not going back anymore. Everything he did was abbreviated. When I went home and put on my eye glasses to look at my toenails there were so many areas that were missed with polish. Now how can he he not see those areas when he is staring at them? It was hard for me to see sitting up in that chair. Don’t ever go to those male manicurists. They don’t know what they’re doing and they are rushing everything they just want to get over it and get paid. Very disappointing!

I love this place. The ladies are always so nice, I never have to wait and their prices are reasonable. Any place that doesn’t require me to pay cash is great. They really take their time with you on your nails to make sure they look great. When I get a pedicure, it lasts for weeks on end that I only have to go once a month. They have a great selection of colors for shellac and I like getting my eyebrows done here too. They’re awesome :)

This place is la bomba! I am so thankful to find a place in Walnut Creek that I love as much as the place I used to go to in SF(Silk). I always get a pedicure and they do a superb job — definitely recommend! I alternate between a regular mani and gel mani. Regular mani lasts about a week, gel will last at minimum 2wks. I had one that lasted almost a month. Here are a list of the things I love about this place: 1. Massage chairs are ridiculously comfortable. I want one for my home. 2. Staff is friendly — I like to talk and I appreciate it when people talk back. They’re awesome. 3. Selection of gel colors is extensive — hallelujah! 4. Also good selection of regular colors including OPI and Essie. I’m a nail color snob and I hate places that only have the cheapie brands. 5. The pedicure is amazeballs! They use hot stones on your legs and warm lotion to massage. Hello! 6. Cleanliness — the place is spotless and they sterilize their equipment. A new package of tools are opened in front of you just for your use. I appreciate that. 7. Regular mani-pedi will run you $ 35 which, while not cheap, is worth it. Hot stone massage, people! I’m a happy customer and now a regular.

They had an older man work on me. He was rough with the pumice stone and it felt like he was sanding a piece of wood and was on a time clock to get it done too. He pressed so hard. This is the worst thing to use anyway because it’s so course, unlike regular sanders that smooth the heels. I had to tell him«okay» so he would stop(on both feet). My heels and big toes are red now, and hurt, and the skin is all course. The massage was the same way, fast and uncomfortably hard and not relaxing at all. I had to tell him«lighter». He clipped my toe nails unevenly. Do people work in these places with no education in this field, and just sit down with these tools? I wonder. You’d think that they have to be certified to hold this kind of job so they know what they’re doing. Rather than make a scene, I paid the $ 25 and left. I considered possibly coming back for another operator(a woman next time), but thinking back about how bad this was, I will go elsewhere. It’s not like there isn’t a nail place in every strip mall now in the U.S. And someone needs to tell them that it’s illegal to post their sign advertising the shop on city property where you turn to enter the mall from Oak Grove Road. This violates the city ordinance.

I’m sorry Kristy had a bad experience. I visit this salon weekly and had always had outstanding service. The workers are polite and friendly and the pedicure comes with the BEST massage!!! I always take my out of town guests there to be pampered!

I’ve lived in walnut creek/concord for 15 years and have been to many different nail salons all over the area and I can say this place is the best I’ve found! It used to be TJ nails(apart of another chain that’s around here) but they changed the name. Not only are they consistent and always do a great job, but all the technicians are so friendly and professional. My go to now!
