New Deli Cafe

First time there. The staff is super friendly. Upbeat atmosphere. Sandwiches were awesome!!! Huge and delicious. 2 fed your people. Never saw the chips before, they were deliscious.
I am going back asap. Loved it.

If you don’t have your own microwave or bag of Trader Joe’s bagels, and microwave slop is what you want, this is the place for you. It’s not for me. I was actually appalled. Staff is friendly. I guess that’s how they stay in business. The food is awful.

Friendly new owners. I only went there a few times with the old owners, who I loved, so I was a little worried when I heard the Deli had new owners… but the new owners are great. I love the vegetarian eggplant parmasan, and it’s a great place to grab a quick bite. Even when crowded, the line moves fast.

The owner Dave was really friendly and made everyone feel welcome. A great place to grab a sandwich, or something healthy to eat. Their pastrami panini was amazing!
Get there early for lunch because specials sell out fast.

Great spot for a sandwich. I had the turkey cranberry with bacon on sourdough… so good! The owners are real nice too… I love the mom and pop feel. Definitely worth stopping by.

Chicken caesar redemption was had today at the New Deli! After my original tomato-​angst filled review, owner Dave sent me a message confirming what I had suspected — that I was given the chicken salad wrap instead of the chicken caesar. If I hadn’t been burned by other WC delis on the caesar before, I probably wouldn’t have jumped to conclusions, but a girl gets frustrated when she wants caesar and gets wacky. ;) Dave asked me to return to try my proper sandwich made the way I wanted, and today for my lunch I took him up on his offer.
While I’m still judgey about their use of ranch dressing on a caesar wrap (it says right on their menu that’s what they use, no assumptions being made — so I suppose it would be more accurate to note it’s caesar style), my proper wrap today was fresh and tasty! As I carried my to-​go sandwich back to my office, I could feel the warm of the grilled chicken — I love that warm and cool contrast!
So all is right with the world again, New Deli is back on my radar as a fabulous and friendly lunch option in the WC office park. Thank you to New Deli and Dave for caring about what your customers have to say!

Nice family owned deli. I come here once or twice a week and get some breakfast for me and my co worker. Always smiling and respectful to their customers !

I love this little spot! I work nearby and I anxiously wait every week for Wednesday to roll around so I can get their Indian bowls! There are always two kinds, one chicken (usually tikki masala) and one vegetarian. There is also two kinds of naan, plain and garlic. I’ve had it all and its sooooooooo delicious and authentic. Reasonably priced. Their sandwiches are also good, and other days of the week they will have some kind of special (yesterday it was tri tip sandwich) I love the owners, always there and always so very friendly. Make time to check this spot out, you wont be disappointed.

Love this place especially the breakfast burritos. Omg! Me, my coworkers and friends are sold. So yummy that I want one now!!! Love the owners. I love they know me and feel welcomed. You guys rock!

This is my favorite deli nearby the office building complex I work at in WC. The owners are very nice and inviting. Sandwiches are good, I’d recommend their paninis.

I was working in walnut creek last week and for lunch the guys took me here. Chicken tikka masala bowl hit the spot. So good. Damon and Sunita are sooo sweet. I wish this place was nearby so I could eat here every day for lunch.

The service here is always fast and friendly. The prices are within reason. It’s also super close to where I work so I don’t have to worry about wasting my lunch hour in line.
I love the daily specials as well.

Service: Great Service. Been a customer for 4 years and now we have a friendly relationship. There is a $ 5 dollar minimum to use your debit/​credit card. I didn’t know that at first, and they told me that whenever I have the cash I can come in a pay or they can just add it to my next tab. They didn’t even hound me or rush me to pay it. They don’t do that with everyone. You have to earn their trust because there are many people that would take advantage and never pay.
Total: $ 4.00-$ 10.00.
Side note: Great quality. Never greedy. You get more than what you pay for. And their breakfast bowls are off the hook!

The breakfast food is devine, the sandwiches are really wonderful for a decent price, love the owners they are really nice people
