I had the chance to work with Thomas Daly at the Marin County Public Defender’s Office. Having observed his work writing motions, arguing to the court, trying cases in front of juries, and negotiating with district attorneys, I can say with confidence that any client would be lucky to have Mr. Daly as their attorney. He has a unique ability to recognize who is audience is, and know the best way to persuade them to further his client’s interests. Thomas Daly was very helpful and accommodating. He also has a very calming and pleasant personality. I just needed a little advice drafting a brief for a traffic infraction appeal and was working from a very limited budget. I contacted five other law offices and not only was Mr. Daly the only one to agree to work with my budget (let alone help me with my case at all), but he made himself available almost instantly at about 11 PM. I was absolutely amazed at how much advice he gave me during the free consultation later that week in his office. While I definitely couldn’t afford to have him handle the appeal or even write the brief for me, he confirmed that I was on the right track and gave careful and thoughtful advice as to what he felt my best options and legal arguments were likely to be.
I will definitely look to him first if I should find myself needing the services of a lawyer again anytime soon.
