It’s no surprise it’s closed. The women who seemed to run the place were great, the guy who was the owner, he was an ass and clearly had no clue what he was doing. There were a few cool drivers but at least one got fired for being a good kid. One guy answering the phone, and sometimes delivering, he didn’t give a crap. He would arrive at my door with my food in the bag hanging like it was trash. You would expect steak tips or a burger to be handled with some care. My point, if more people cared like one or two of the women(owners daughter?) they may have done better. I could see the frustration in their eyes when the owner made steroid fueled blockhead comment, directed at a customer, that would make them not want to come back. I do understand that he may have been worried about his failing business but from day one it was gonna fail. «Let’s sell muscle meal and weight gain products with poor quality fast food» brilliant!

This place gets 2 stars because it’s the only quick place to grab lunch near my office. Other than that, it’s overpriced, subpar food. Also, I think they’re having an identity crisis. Today they have handwritten ‘CLOSED’ signs on all the windows and I hope that means there will be a better restaurant there soon.

Not sure how this place is still in business. Dishes are overpriced($ 11 for a ceasar salad w chicken?) And the pizza is nothing more than cardboard with sauce and plastic tasting cheese.

Based on the reviews of this place they have been open almost 4 years. On our first and visit we entered and were confused by the awkward atmosphere and empty cabinets that looked like an upright tanning booths in the dinning room. We ordered a sandwich and salad and waited for almost 15 minutes for food that certainly wasn’t worth the price or time we waited. I noticed other customer leaving with half the meal left on their plates. The chicken parm was typical factory breaded chicken with a standard canned sauce cooked to room temperature. The salad was standard lettuce, tomato and onion large enough to cover a flat dinner plate. Nothing special about this place at all.

A a restaurant experiencing an identity crisis featuring sub-par meals and a strange atmosphere. I am a college student with a dining hall comparable to prison food so yes I am not that picky. My friends and I needed a quick meal before heading out to the bars for the night. Seeking a greasy burger or sandwich to coat our stomachs before drinking(and as a previous customer of Beat Da’ Wrap) I thought it would be a solid choice. I ordered a chicken caesar wrap to-go. I figured wrap is in the name… can’t go wrong right? I sat down in at a booth in the empty restaurant with my two friends and waited for the food. Throughout my 20 minute wait, my eyes wandered around the restaurant and I noticed that the atmosphere is quite strange. Being an observant person it really bothered me that there was a disconnect between the restaurant name, the logo, atmosphere and menu. It felt like the restaurant was trying to be too many things at once offering pub food, pizza, froyo and even a salmon dinner. It truly felt like they didn’t know what they were doing. Personally I don’t mind a delivery restaurant with an identity crisis if the food they are offering is good; but it this case the food was just plain bad. I brought my wrap back to my dorm room just a minute or two away. The wrap was huge but didn’t come with any sides. The chicken was tough and dry and had some funky pieces hanging off of it causing me to spit a piece out into my napkin. The salad part of the wrap was fine but what’s a chicken caesar salad wrap without the chicken? I would say other food I have had definitely beat dis’ wrap and I would not recommend ordering or stopping in.

Sandwiches are ok. If you are hungry do not go there, it takes a long time for your food to be ready. Unless, you are friends with the chef.

My second visit here I ordered the Shine Box which is the B.D.A version of an Italian. I didn’t ask for anything just ordered as is so I can determine they know how to make a solid Italian. — Good amount of cuts and even balance here not one thing is overwhelming in this area. — Bread — I was asked if I want it on a wrap or a roll I chose the roll(it came on a braided roll which was fresh but a bit«bready» which throws the bread to meat to veggie ratio off a bit but, not a deal breaker) — Comes with hots, pickles, red onion(just enough IMHO), and L &T with vinegar and oil. * note hots were very light until the end when I discovered 70% were int he last few bites. I am not opposed to heat but soggy bread is nasty and hots often lead us down this wet and unpleasant road to ruin. Overall decent sandwich and I would order another but I would’t go very far out of my way for it.

The food is okay. It is the closest place to eat that I know of in the area. I had the buffalo chicken wrap both times. The first time with fries and they were too greasy so the second time I didn’t get them.

This place is really interesting. They have an amazing selection of sandwiches, and the one I had was delicious. The staff is very friendly as well. You order at the register and then your food is brought to you at your table. There is also a frozen yogurt part of the restaurant, where you can help yourself to 6 different flavors of froyo, along with at least 50 different toppings, all for $ 0.49 per ounce. This place is a one-stop-shop for lunch and dessert.

I’ve had good and bad experiences here, last six months it’s been good. Their pizza is Italian, the sauce is good. Salads, hot wings and sandwiches are good. There are times when they were slow with my orders. With that being said, they are a little proud of their proud of their product.

This place sucks and always will suck. Only reason it may have a glimpse of success is that there isn’t much in the area. It’s poorly managed, you can see the mess that they call a kitchen, and the cluttered supplies. It’s supposed to be a healthy restaurant, «Beat Da Wrap» but it isn’t. It’s got Italian mob stuff all over the walls. A yogurt bar and before the yogurt bar they tried to sell protein powders which was a complete failure. The only reason I come in is because I’m starving and I can get a good laugh at all the inconsistencies as an establishment.

I will never write a review based on one trip. anyone can have a bad night. That being said there will not be any future orders from me for Beat Da Wrap. Placed an order through Grubhub for small pizza and an order of sliders. It was over an hour before the order was ready to be delivered. And it took 45 minutes after that before it showed. And that was only after complaining about it. I live 2 miles from the restaurant. Food is average, some of the special sandwiches are a step above, but a two hour wait for delivery is unacceptable in my opionion. ps the delivery finnaly arrived while I was writing this, and it was ice cold.

New customer and heres my 2 cents: 1) Customer service sucks — no greeting, smiles or vibrant attitude by cashiers. Its like they do not want to take your order. 2) Clean food but bland and the braided bread rolls used on sandwiches are way too bulky. You lose the meat of the sandwich with your first bite.

My fiancé goes tanning at GLOW next door,(LOL you’ll see why in a bit) and I always drove by this place coming back from Belmont. I never tried it, but always thought the front sign was kinda corny, but eye catching. It made me wonder if they ever had any business as this little plaza was a bit strangely placed in the city. Finally today I got to try it since he was heading over to tan and said he tried a burger there and it was good. First off, I LOVETURKEYBURGERS. I cross my fingers every time I see a burger joint in hopes that they have a turkey option. This place did, SCORE!!! When I first googled the menu(not knowing what to expect except that the name of the place triggered Jersey Shore thoughts) I randomly went into a shouting hack job version of Paul D’s Beat Dat Beat and started fist pumping. My fiancé looked horrified as he has never seen Jersey Shore so had no idea what I was doing. When I opened up the menu I squealed and said Pauly D! They have a menu item there called Pauly D! Then I thought about the tanning salon next door, holy crap… do they have a laundry mat and gym next to that as well? I’ll have to make a point to check when I drive by again. Anyways, back to the review. We ordered the burger, turkey burger, and fried ravioli. I liked that they had light and hearty option. The food was all great! Turkey burger was very flavorful with the mushrooms I added on additionally, and the cheese had a nice flavor. The fries were whatever, but good enough to gobble down. I did not have the sweet potato ones, just the reg. The fried ravioli’s were huge like they said and tasted great! The marinara sauce that same with it tasted fresh, and my fiancé was not disappointed with his burger this time around either. Winners in my book so far! Can’t wait to try the yogurt. Would have been cool to still have the supplement store. My sibs are gym nuts and this would have been our go to place since Know Fat! went away in Watertown. I would have included a pic, but I gobbled my dinner up pretty quick.

They finally got rid of the nutrition/supplement part of the store and replaced it with a self serve frozen yogurt set up. I was a little skeptical having driven by several times, but I finally stopped in and was surprised at the number of flavor and topping options. Prices are standard for self-serve fro-yo and there are plenty of comfy booths to sit in while watching the game on a big flat screen. One day I’ll get around to trying the actual food, but I’ll definitely be back for a quick yogurt fix.

I should have updated this review long ago. I gave this place so many chances, and almost every experience was lack luster. When it first opened it included a vitamin/supplement section(which always confused me because the menu is aching but healthy). Now it has been converted to a Froyo bar area. I think this is a smart move, but unfortunately I think it may be too late. Most people I know that live in the area have long since formed their negative opinions about BDW and I’m not sure if they would be willing to give it another chance, Froyo or not. I only ever get take out, and while the food is good(I usually get the margarita pizza — they are very generous with the mozzarella!) they are definitely over priced. If they would just drop their prices by a dollar or so per item I would frequent this place ten times more. Service has always been hit or miss. Nothing terrible has ever occurred, but I’ve also never been welcomed with a smile. I agree with previous reviewers that say they really need to look into rebranding their image. You can tell by the facilities that they have invested a lot, and care about the finer details. It just isn’t quite working.

we get beat da wrap delivered to the office about once a month. They have the best Greek salad! I could eat it every day, it’s seriously good(and I’m a Greek salad connoisseur). I’ve had a tuna wrap, italian sub, and remo panini from there as well which were all just decent, nothing special. Their turkey tips sub is pretty good but only because it has chipotle mayo on it. Honestly though, if you go get the Greek salad with tuna. SO good.

I’ve tried Beat Da’Wrap several times before and just shrugged it off, I walked away with a ‘mehhhh’ when it first opened and was not impressed. But now, talk about having an identity crisis. Beat Da’Wrap originally started out with the concept KnowFat had and tried to implement the supplements/protein section in addition to their restaurant and had an at least semi-healthy menu in addition to their giant plate of greasy/fatty menu items. Now, they’re trying to do this pizza and garbage plate-like thang with absolutely no healthy items but salad on their menu. The have a ton of empty space from what used to be their nutrition side that’s now sitting there empty and sullen looking with about 4 – 5 soft serve machines sitting in the corner. Additionally, their prices are absolutely ridiculous! Cost me $ 10+ for a buffalo chicken wrap with no drink or anything. Had I not required something to eat after my yoga session, I would have walked out immediately. And in the past, it cost me close to $ 20 for a flippin’ panini and a drink for lunch! Could have gotten a decent piece of steak elsewhere for dinner. IMHO, I think it’s time BDW either pack up and call it quits while they still have some assets laying around or start looking at a new concept and remarket themselves, because honestly, right now it just ain’t workin’ for them.

Fresh and flavorful. I decided to stop in after the gym. I ordered the turkey tip salad and brought home the steak tip dinner to my boyfriend. The place is really clean and the people working there are friendly. It’s a bit odd because half of the restaurant is a vitamin supplement store. I probably wouldn’t go in there to eat, but for take home, it’s good. It is a bit on the pricey side, but the quality of the food was good.
