Great pizza, fast service, very friendly staff. Totally worth my quick stop for a bite. Good beers too!

Best coal fire pizza for miles. Prosecco cocktail is amazing. Sit at the bar inside or out.

I’ve loved it since the day it opened, but you have to love it by acquisition. Or appreciate a little well done crispiness. There wings, unique, and incredible, there pizza, delicious consistent and fresh, the servers are gorgeous sweethearts(the female ones) the dudes are chill, dope all around cant wait to go back and and go shove an entire Philly cheese steak pie down my face

We waited 45 minutes for a table on Friday night. The salad was amazing. The chicken wings were okay. They tasted like they were barbecued with a very light sauce. The pizza was very tasty. I love that well done crust and sauce flavor was nice. The service was great and although the place was noisy we enjoyed the radio in background. We were happy with our meal and once we were seated the food came out quickly. I will try it again sometime during true week, as my husband does not like waiting hat long for a table. We were just there at a busy time and I’d like to try at a time when we wont have to wait like that.

I’m a New Yorker don’t ask me where the best slice of pizza is, I don’t remember… but Anthony’s coal fire is a great spot, salad is fresh wings are great and pizza is delicious. Bring your family bring a date or have a party they can accommodate everyone. Weekends are packed beware. Staff is friendly too. I don’t have a single complaint. Go try it out for yourself

What a terrific formula; with so few choices and everything good. Tony’s pizza is delicious coal-fired thin crust pizza. And they make excellent, non-greasy wings to go with. It’s something to fill up on while you’re waiting for the yummy ‘Za. Flavors are good, not great. Something just not there to make it 5-star and pizza toppings are a little chincy.

Still a favorite… Just the wings and salad and I am happy. Wings have now gone up to 12.50 for a small order. Everything is going up !!

This is a chain I really enjoy. Start with the meatballs. They are huge and tasty. The pizza here is great too! The crust is light and crisp and delicious. You can’t go wrong with any of the options.

I always drive by this place and today I decided to try it out. Ok I ordered the personal pie one onion and one eggplant Marino. Eggplant was blah and onion pie had burnt onion pieces. Unless u like burnt pizza well it was for you. I personally don’t. Beer was good though. If I come back won’t be for food. How do you mess up a pizza. Give bar by outside area an A nice place but won’t come for pizza

Back to greatness. I stopped by on way home from salon and ordered the lunch size Paul & Young Ron with added Pepperoni, Service was nice and it didn’t take long at all. I got home and ate half and it was amazing. Exactly what i wanted. I really wanted wings too but i live alone and it would be a waste… I will def be back again soon hopefully with my ex :)

Great, Amazing and Awesome are some of the few words that can describe this restaurant! i’ve been there numerous times! There pizza/sandwiches are amazing and the beer selection is too! The service is great and the manager are always walking around and greeting everyone! Try the tuna sandwich it’s great! Yes it can get crowded and loud but they do there best to move things along and let’s face it that just means everyone loves this place and still comes back! Keep up the great Job!

The rating is based on service, not the food. The food deserves 2+ stars but the quality is the not the same as when it first opened. I went there with my elderly father for a late lunch(after 2PM). Upon entering, the hostess/bartender immediately greeted us and told us to pick any table. The waitress rushed over and told us to wait until she grabbed a few menus and she would seat us. Tension? Yes! After we were seated, nothing was put in front of us… no napkins, cutlery, water. I ordered a tap beer and dad wanted water. Two small cocktail napkins came with these beverages. Then our food order was taken, delivered in a timely fashion, but still no napkins or cutlery. Was this a bit of rebellion by the obviously snarky waitress? Well, we asked the hostess for the missing elements and they were promptly delivered. After eating what I could of my Italian tuna sandwich(which was delicious), I asked the waitress to have the second half wrapped to go. We paid for our food and then made for the exit. Someone sitting at one of the bar tables(a manager, perhaps?) yelled«thank you for coming» and I turned to see where it came from. The man didn’t even bother to lift his head and make eye-contact, but instead promptly returned to his conversation with his colleagues sitting with him. That was a sincere greeting(not), in my opinion. But what really turned me off to the service was the next day when I opened my doggy bag and discovered that my ½ sandwich was also packed with my dirty cocktail napkins. A no-class establishment that does not deserve my business going forward.

So this restaurant is a nice addition to the area. My husband and I come often for lunch and we really love the wings, pies, meatballs and great beers. The crust on the pizza is thin, crispy and never greasy. If you are watching sodium, the food does tend to be on the salty side, so be aware. Recently we discovered that Wednesday nights they have great bar specials with $ 5.00 martinis. One of the bartenders that we’ve seen before is less than friendly or sociable. But no big deal as we are there hanging out with one another. Last night was our third time back for the Wednesday special. My husband also got a small pie, a couple of beers and our friends met us for some drinks. We picked up the 70 dollar tab and left her a 30 dollar tip. The bartender took the tip and didn’t even say thank you. I am still annoyed. We were there for a little over an hour maybe. I hope to be back but I really hope that doesn’t happen again. I felt insulted as a customer.

Came here this afternoon with my husband for some pizza pizza! We pass this place all the time on Sunrise Hwy across the street from the Wantagh train station and decided today was the day. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted so cheerfully by the host that we just knew it was going to be a good experience. There were a few tables around us full and some patrons at the bar. The restaurant was very clean and full of TVs. There were chalkboard lists of craft beer offered(all surprisingly decent) and the menus offered just enough choices to not feel overwhelmed. We split a large traditional pie(8 slices) and each got a salad. The salad first off was delightful. It was full of fresh goodies– chick peas, olives, celery, lettuce, tomatoes and drenched in the house dressing a delightful tangy oil and vinegar. We were happy campers. The pizza was so surprisingly good. It came out piping hot with just enough cheese and a tangy sweet marinara. After sprinkling some Parmesan on that bad boy it was heaven. The service was great. We were able to sample some of the beers before deciding. I went with a JP Casper White Stout. It was very smooth and flavorful and not as heavy your darker stout. My husband went with the good old fail safe Blue Point Toasted Lager. We will be back again for sure!

I like that the pizza is extra crispy. Place is small so I can definitely see it being a problem to have a conversation when it gets crowded. There’s outdoor seating for the warmer months, so you can catch a great view of Sunrise Highway traffic.lol. They have a small list but pretty decent wine list, and the beer selection surprisingly goes beyond your standard Bud and Heine. They offer several craft, local beers. We got the meatball and ricotta pizza, which was amazing. The wings were decently flavored, tender and came with fried onions.yum. We are coming back to try other pies and the meatballs. Definitely a nice little place to get some A-OK pizza.

I don’t know why this place doesn’t have a higher overall rating. The coal fired pizza was awesome — just how I love pizza, crispy and not soggy, hold well before the bite. The wings as well were out of this world. I have tried a few times to recreate the«coal fired» crunchy wings and just cannot get them as good.

When I first heard of this place, there was so much hype. My friends raved about their pizza so I had to try it. I went there yesterday thinking it was a pizza place not a restaurant. I was definitely wrong. It’s actually like a classy sit down area with a full bar. The works! I walked in thinking I could order one slice but alas, I could not. The people at the front greeted me and convinced me to get the personal size pizza. It was a bit pricey for my liking. $ 10 for a small pizza! Very small. The pizza was ready within 10 minutes which was quick. I waited outside and they called me when it was done. Overall, pretty quick service and with a friendly staff. As for the pizza: I decided on the hyped up Cauliflower pizza. It was really good! It’s coated in bread crumbs, cheese and spices. It definitely had that«charred» factor which I look for in the brick oven pizza places. The crust was thin and it was a good personal size. However, I couldn’t eat the whole thing… it was filing! So I suppose that it may be pricey if you’re eating it by yourself but if you want to split it with someone else, you can totally do that. I want to come back again and try the other foods. When I do, I’ll have to update my post. I have a good feeling about Anthony’s.

Wow, I am so disappointed as I was really looking forward to trying Anthony’s and was hoping for a new fave. I ordered the meatball and ricotta specialty pie and visually it looked very good. Unfortunately the positives ended there as the pizza was void of flavor. The meatballs tasted like they were not homemade, the ricotta was nothing special and the sauce wasn’t very memorable either. The coal fired oven crust was nice and crunchy but again not remarkable in the flavor department. Maybe I am being too critical as I did eat the whole damn thing so it couldn’t have been that bad, but at $ 16.95 for a small 12″ pizza I expected a party in mouth and this party turned out to be pretty lame. Sorry, I really wanted to love this place :( It was packed on Thursday night and felt more like walking into a popular bar then a pizzeria so obviously a lot of other people disagree with me but for $ 17 I can get a full size 16″ or 18″ large pie with at least one topping at a half dozen better pizzerias in a 5 mile radius.
