I live in New York City and I take all of my cleaning here. No one does it better, and the prices are so what they should be. They don’t staple tickets to the clothing, they pin them! Extra care for your clothing. Family owned and everyone is friendly and courteous.

Fast service and great prices. The tailors are fantastic and also reasonably priced. I have tried other cleaners and tailors closer to my home but have always been disappointed. So now I just go to Jim Dandy and have peace of mind that everything will be just right.

Went to pick up my shirts and suits they did not give the suit to me only the shirts. Did not notice until I realized suit was missing from my closet. My wife went in today and net with Mike they said they did not have it. My wife produced a ticket and they were able to locate the suit and have her an attitude I will vote with my feet!

The scene: I’m staying over my parents’ in Wantagh, and realize the dress I brought for a party that afternoon — the only thing I had to wear, save for the rain-soaked outfit I arrived in the night before — hadn’t been hemmed. I’m under 5 feet. I need things hemmed. My mom said, ever so encouragingly, that I looked like a cult member. So, I went to Jim Dandy, the place I had my prom dress altered, thinking they could do some sort of temporary iron-on fix. Instead, the tailor took the dress, and as I waited nearby(shush, I was a turtleneck, tights and a coat) hemmed it in 10 minutes, during a busy Saturday morning. I never would have expected such service, especially since I hadn’t been going there since I moved out eight years ago. Only downside: some of the threads of the cotton fabric pulled a little, perhaps in the rush, which was a little disappointing. But really, beggars can’t be choosers, especially when they look like cult members.
