Bought chicken fingers and they were burnt and tough to eat. Called and they said I would get a credit. Didn’t happen. Called again and got the manager who said she did it and would call me back again no correction no call back. Who loses business over a $ 6 appetizer!!!

Also posted review on Facebook and so did my girlfriend and It ended with the owner being sorta nice at first but then the personal attacks started and ended with private messages with Threats of a lawsuit. Such and shame and very unprofessional.

Bought two sandwiches off THEIRMENU. Total was $ 18 Wow I thought these must be good sandwiches, boy was I wrong they were terrible! The ingredients weren’t even what was described on their menu. As you can see there was one piece of cheese. Not worth $ 5 let alone $ 8!!! Save your money!

We just bought 2 sandwiches and their homemade chips… well the chips tasted like dirty potatoes… we told the girl and she let us get a bag of chips in place, still wasted a dollar on the homemade ones. While our sandwiches where being made I was thinking of the fact 2 sandwiches cost $ 19 I thought that’s kind of high but deli sandwiches usually have lots of meat so ok… well we get home and there is like no meat at all compared to every other deli I have ever been to and both sandwiches are soggy and no it didn’t sit for a while, we only live 7 minutes away and ate as soon as we got home. And the bacon my bf asked for was slapped on cold with a layer of grease on it.

Hands-down the best deli in the area! The food here is unbelievably good. If you were to try the food and not know where it came from, you would swear that it came from a restaurant, and a really good one at that. My first experience with the food happened when I was at a friend’s house and he offered me some blueberry chicken wings. They were some of the best I’ve ever had. Once he told me he got them from Castaldo’s, I went there with a friend and ordered a whole bunch of sandwiches to go. Again, I was not disappointed. They were definitely restaurant quality. The friend that I took there ordered a sandwich on gluten-free bread and told me that it was some of the best gluten-free bread they had ever had. Everyone that I know that’s ordered food from there always raves about it! The prices are really good and the people that work there are very friendly.

I came here twice. Both times they messed my order up. Once gave me the wrong sandwich. Second time put ketchup on my BEC after I told them not to about 3 times. Food is decent at best. Also takes forever to have food made. I probably won’t come back. My dad loves the place tho.

Ordered here twice, won’t be going back for a third time. The first time we ordered, we got sandwiches with prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, basil, and balsamic dressing. The meat and cheese were fine, however the balsamic dressing was so thick it made the sandwich look disgusting. It was very visually unappealing. We basically ended up taking the contents out of the sandwich and tossing the bread and everything else. Tried them again recently, and the order got all screwed up. Ordered a pastrami, swiss, and Russian dressing. they delivered a pastrami melt with mustard on it instead. Another person ordered a sandwich so drenched in dressing that it was soggy and not really edible. We will not be ordering from there again.

Slow Slow Slow. 15 minutes to get an egg sandwich, a deli needs to move faster in the am. I won’t be back

Walked in behind another customer and I was initially asked if I needed help. I let the worker know that the other person was ahead of me. They proceed to help the woman out and I was asked again if I needed help. I said yes but was completely ignored when I started placing my order. Three people behind the counter, one setting up the salad bar, and at least one person in the kitchen but helping one person in 6 minutes is the best this place can apparently do. I walked out and never tried the food.

This deli is a great addition to the wappingers/Poughkeepsie area. I’ve been here twice now and enjoyed it. Today I went in and asked about gluten free options and was happy to hear they have GF bread and wraps. I ordered the #20 on GF bread which included turkey, tart cherry aioli, mixed greens and goat cheese. It was delicious! I will definitely come again and am thrilled to find a lunch spot that offers great gluten free sandwiches! I have to wait awhile for my order but it means that they’re actually making the food so I can’t complain about that.

The employees are always great, but the food is mediocre. If you do order, try calling first because no matter what you get it takes awhile.

I have to say this deli is pretty awesome, most of everything is homemade and delicious, and the menu is huge… The fresh focaccia pies and sandwiches are all REALLY good. Pretty cool they even have a self serve soup and salad station… Hands down best Deli I’ve been too in this area besides Rossi Deli.
