Oh my! The food is delish and as everyone else has posted the cinnamon roll is gigantic ! But then so are the pancakes. I included a picture of both. Good place for breakfast all day.

You’ll come for the humungous cinnamon bun. You’ll lie prostrate after eating the big omlettes with local boursin, ham steaks, homemade sourdough toast, bottomless dark roast coffee…

The restaurant has a cute country feel. Everything is for sale. The cinnamon bun with glaze is insanely huge — like obscenely gigantic but crazy delicious. I think they should call it a cinnamon loaf as you can share one for a family of 4. I’m not kidding, it’s that big! They make their own bread. My husband got the breakfast sandwich with a biscuit and it was amazeballs. I got the breakfast burrito and it was tasty. It was more of a breakfast wrap than I would say burrito. Both meals came with home fries that had good flavor. The coffee was nothing to write about. Bleh CASHONLY but they do have an ATM.

On our way to Vermont we spotted The Foothills of Warner on Unilocal and decided to give it a try for lunch. We are glad we did! Great portions and good food. Take note that this is a cash only establishment, don’t fret though cause they have an ATM machine on site.

Fabulous local restaurant in Warner, NH. Very friendly staff and warm, inviting setting. The sandwiches were amazing. The Dutch included ham, turkey, swiss, coleslaw and thousand island dressing on rye. So delicious! Completed the meal with their famous cinnamon bun. Deliciousness overload! I highly recommend!

OMG we loved this place! We got a resounding«GOHERE!» recommendation from a state employee(perhaps volunteer?) who was manning the«Tourist Information» desk at a large rest stop along the highway. We sure owe this guy, as that was the best tip ever! We just loved the whole«feel» of this place, right off the bat. It’s adorable. It looks like it’s straight off a movie set, with its down-country aesthetic, complete with porch and rocking chairs on the outdoor porch and folks playing checkers at a table on the porch, too. Inside, it looks like a genuine country diner: unpretentious, long counter, lots of tables with checkered table accessories, lots of light from the window, humorous signs on the walls everywhere. The young lady who was our waitress had a down-home charm. The menu is humongous. Talk about variety, it was really hard to choose our meals. The kids had pancakes and an omelet that came with hash browns and bacon and toast. It was SO much food, enough to share among 5 people, perhaps. And it was all delicious. We were too full for dessert, but I saw pie being brought to a nearby table and man, it looked good! Despite the restaurant being full, our server was attentive, constantly filling my coffee cup and our waters, and checking to see if we needed anything.(She was really lovely. I suspect she may have been the owners’ daughter. I read on the menu that this restaurant is family run). Know that they take cash only(they do have an ATM machine on site, by the front door). We had a fantastic diner here and would definitely plan on returning!

Fair to midland. We went for the Cinzabon’s but were disappointed. The Cinnamon buns are the size of a Frisbee but are really dry. To boot they add gallons of liquid icing to compensate. We waited 1 hour to be served. The signs on the walls are meant to be cute but are pretty«cheesy» to stare at for 1.5 hours.

Waited an HOUR for our meal… burgers and breakfast food. During that time they didn’t even offer to refresh the coffee or drinks or check in with us(until I called the waitress over and asked what was taking so long). The food was average at best. This used to be our«go to» place in Warner. What happened!!! Advise… eat somewhere else. :/Oh, and they do NOT take credit cards. Cash only! $ 70 for a horrible experience. Will be looking for a new place to go!

Hidden Jem in the town of Warner! Stopped for lunch and will go back again! We where welcomed with a smile, and even though it was 1:30p and they close at 2, we where seated and served. The service was a good as the food! Our meal came out fast and hot, I recommend the Ruben. My wife got the Mash up, hash and cheddar omelet, it was great too. Cash only but there is an ATM by the register.

Stopped here for breakfast this morning. Atmosphere is very nice, very«country kitchen» kind of vibe going on. Speed of service was as expected — not lightning quick but not super slow either. I ordered a steak and cheese omelette that was very tasty. There was a little bit of egg shell in the omelette that unfortunately I bit into, but not every broken egg’s going to go perfectly so no big deal. Omelettes are not HUGE, which I actually appreciated; they’re just two eggs so you’ll feel satisfied but not overstuffed when you’re done. I ordered a blueberry pancake as well, because every time I go to a new place for breakfast I have to try the pancakes. I ordered the smallest one they had and it was still at least 9 – 10 inches in diameter. Again, perfect size — they have two larger sizes which both sound like behemoths. There was a rogue onion in the pancake, which for some reason grosses me out whenever it happens(onions and maple syrup just don’t play well together), but again… mistakes happen. The pancake was thick, a teeny bit crispy, and overall totally delicious outside of the one onion bite. My recommendation to the restaurant would be to dedicate one part of the grill to just pancakes to avoid this from happening(maybe they do and this was just a freak occurrence). Coffee was above average. Dark and relatively strong, unlike most other places where it’s watered down. I’ll visit again — this place could easily get 5 stars, but the egg shell and onion incidents drop it down a bit. But definitely worth a stop!

The chili was very good. The kale & chicken salad was good. The coffee was weak. The muffins and the pie looked fantastic but I am trying to behave myself.

First of all for all readers. CASHONLY. They do have an ATM next door, however. We had a scrumptious post-church brunch. I can see how the place gets mixed reviews. Our waitress was very candid and told us that an hour before we got there they were totally swamped with long waits. However, we got there and were one of only five customers in the main part of the dining room and had great service and food. For that, I’ll rate it like I see it. First the ambiance. Compared to the other brunch places around New London, it is one of the nicest. Airy. Homey. With enough space between the tables for intimacy. And although a New England country motif, not kitschy or pedantic in its décor. Then the food, which exceeded my expectations. My spouse ordered the Eggs Benedict and this was quite appetizing. I chose the more abundant three-egg with ham steak and it was way more than enough food. The ham steak would have easily fed two people, but considering it was making up for breakfast and lunch, it suit me just fine. Copious amounts of coffee.

Driving home from Burlington Vt and almost stopped at Dunkin Donuts, desperate for any type of food. Luckily we found this place and got in right before closing time. They were so nice to sit us even after closing time. I had the junior pancakes and they were HUGE! Very good though! Everyone was very pleased with their meals. The one thing I will say is when I ordered strawberries with my pancakes, they were definitely defrosted from a can. Other than that great stop!

We stopped here for an early breakfast before going grocery shopping. We’ve eaten here several times in the past but not lately. It’s a pleasant enough space, and being early, we got great service. 4 stars We were seated promptly and offered coffee before we had settled. Good coffee, plenty of half and half and sugar on the table. 3 stars Knowing from experience that they don’t do scrambled eggs well, I ordered the breakfast sandwich(fried egg, over hard; bacon, cheese, English muffin). It was pretty much what I expected — and thoroughly average. 2 stars.(Does anyone remember real scrambled eggs, fluffy and moist but not runny? The kind that is cooked in a sauté pan, not flat on the grill?) Hubby had the Mexican omelet — again as expected and average. 2 stars. Close to home but just an OK place for breakfast. $ 21 plus tip for 1 omelet, 1 breakfast sandwich, 2 coffees, 1 juice. Cash only!
