M & M Fresh Fish & Chicken

I’ll just get right to the point. Ordered 20 of the whole wings. Good flavor, but these are by far the TINIEST whole wings I have ever seen. I noticed someone posted pictures of wings on Unilocal,these are not the size of wings that I received. Not just a few wings in the order, but the largest wing was smaller than I would have expected the smallest to be, and most of that turned out to be the breading. I admit that I have a large appetite, but this is the first time I have ever eaten 20 WHOLE wings and still been hungry afterward. Hungry to the point where I’m going out to get more food after this review. I bumped the review up to 3 stars because these are the only things I tried on the menu, but then I dropped it back down to 2 stars because there are way too many other fresh fry wing places on 8 Mile in this area for me to try anything else instead of just trying a new place.
P. S. The best wings I’ve found are by far JJ’s Fish & Shrimp (not to be mistaken with JJ’s Chicken & Fish or JJ’s Fish & Chicken). It’s on Van Dyke in Warren. Extremely cheap, great sized wings & the best flavor I’ve had (ask for extra lemon pepper). Would have gone today, but they were closed and it would have been nice to find an equally great place closer to Ferndale.

I can’t tell you how long I’ve wanted to hit up a ‘you buy we fry’ place. It’s been a long long time. Well finally I saw this place and it was like a beacon of light in an area bare of food possibilities. It was most definitely a carry-​out type place (wouldn’t have really expected different on this one) and our order was taken and ready for us in less than 15. I loved it. Oh my god I loved it. This food is going to have me coming back and wearing elastic pants, for sure. We just ordered a bunch of things and split them (we should’ve got less, portions here are huge). I would definitely recommend the #4 combo (Catfish nuggets & shrimp) or really anything with the shrimp. Their shrimp are amazing. Huge and fresh and freaking delicious. But everything here was fresh and delicious. This place has me drooling on my keyboard, it’s definitely a keeper!
