One of my favorite coffee shops in the Kansas City area. It is certainly the best in Warrensburg by far. The service is quick and to the point, and the coffee here is as good as any third wave coffee roaster in the US(Stumptown, Intelligentsia, etc).

Wisely purchased, locally roasted, locally owned by my good friend Art who knows coffee and conversation!

Service leaves a lot to be desired. For a long time this was one of only a few coffee shops in town. It had been a long time since I patronized the shop, but after today, I probably won’t return. Took 2 attempts for barista to get a decent beverage, but still charged twice. 1st one was not drinkable, nor consumed.

Nothing special about this place. At. All. Coffee, meh. Staff, meh. Décor, less than meh. Just boringly below average.

The place is great, but the hours are horrible! For a college town, students would love to go there late at night(until midnight or so), but because they close so early, students are still in class! If they extended their hours I think many more students would be interested in going to their shop.

Mediocre coffee & specialty drinks(I ordered a mocha & the wife a vanilla latté and they tasted exactly the same); ridiculous hours for a college town café; Dated décor & atmosphere. Much better off going to Country Kitchen for bottomless coffee or the Starbucks in Sedalia.

Java Junction has all the great qualities of a small town coffee shop. They do a few things very well — they roast the coffee in-house which, like the historic building it’s located in, has layers of character. There’s plenty of seating, and the stay in coffee purchases are very reasonable and have bottomless refills. You won’t find that in most coffee shops. I can’t speak to the espresso drinks, since I’m just a plain joe bro. Go to Starbucks if you want an ice cream sundae. The proprietor is friendly and enjoys the local banter, but don’t make the mistake of some and loaf without buying your time with a drink. Pros: Very reasonable, fresh-roasted coffee Beautiful location Warm, friendly atmosphere Cons: Small town hours(close at 6)

Java Junction features friendly staff, free wi-fi(with purchase) and coffee beans from varied locales roasted fresh in-house. It’s a hangout for students, university professors and locals alike. They serve coffees, teas, chai, soft drinks, and energy drinks. If you’re hungry, there’s freshly baked muffins, scones and cookies, as well as ice cream, cheesecake and bagels. I’ve been frequenting this place for over two years now, and the quality is consistent. Definitely worth a visit, whether you’re a student or you’re simply waiting for the Amtrak.
