My friends and I hosted a bridal shower here on a busy Saturday afternoon in June and couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. Frank, the owner, was extremely accommodating and a pleasure to work with in planning details of the event, and everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable on the day we were there. I’m very happy we chose to host the event at this vineyard!

Live band, gracious host. Wines middle road– nothing jumped out at me. Choose the wine tasting with the wine glass included as a souvenir. The owner was kind enough to give a group of us a private tour of the processing area. It was fascinating to see that the bottling process is all manually done, Great view of the mountains from the top of the vineyards. We ordered the fruit & cheese cracker plate which complimented the wines.

Spectacular wines. I met Frank and Karen at an off-site wine tasting and was delighted to find so many delicious wines. The Vineyard is just 50 miles or so from my home, so I also benefit from their using this land for farming and maintaining open space. Delicious Seyval Blanc, Merlot, Monet Blend using the Divinity grape. The Noiret(sp?) was a new taste to me — yummy. And I was blown away by the Cabernet Sauvignon. I bought a case to enjoy over the coming months. Can’t wait to get my gang together to take a trip to the Vineyard — live music, yummy food and amazing wines — life is good!

No wine is bad wine at Clearview. They know their stuff, we come away learning something new every time we go. When it’s nice out I highly recommend taking a bottle to the top of the vineyard, it’s worth the climb, beautiful and peaceful. Our favorite is the Cab Franc, with the Cab Sav a close second.

We did a wine tasting here for only $ 6 and you got to keep the glass. The wine is exceptional and the view from the top of the vineyard was wonderful(see photos). There was live music on the outside deck when we went which only added to the great time my wife and I had. The one thing I wasn’t too satisfied with was the cheese plate. I felt it did not compliment the wine very well. The bruschetta as good though. Other than that, the overall experience was great.

The wine was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly. The hot wine was very unique and we really enjoyed it, I would highly recommend trying it. There is outdoor seating to accommodate pets, and they will serve you outside. Thanks!

Had a great time here. Loved the atmosphere. Definitely not a huge place. We came on a Saturday but it wasn’t too crowded and we were able to get a table. The live entertainment was great and the cheeseboard was awesome! Can’t wait to come back.

Frank(owns Clearview with his wife) was so sweet and knowledgable. Wines were great. Learned a lot. He gave us a little tour of where they press, stem and ferment the grapes. We got a little taste of this year’s Merlot that isn’t being bottled yet. Great place!

You will fall in love with this place. Clearview Vineyard was the last stop on our winery tour on the way back to New York after a wedding. We weren’t really expecting much as the previous vineyards were only ok and that one doesn’t usually associate a small grower from NY with fantastic reds. I am happy to say that we were completely blown out of the water by how awesome Clearview was. We pulled up to live music playing on the porch and were immediately greeted by the entertaining staff(Tyler, Sharon and Frank the owner(my apologies to Sharon if that’s not how she spells her name)) who offered a free taste to whoever did the best twist. Tyler really knew his stuff and walked us through each wine providing both knowledge and amusement with each pour. The Cab Franc was my absolute favorite followed closely by the Cab Sauv and the Merlot. After our tasting, Frank gave us a tour of the wine making facilities and even let us steal a small taste of a new Merlot that was still aging. Needless to say, we bought a case for the road and will happily order more in the future. My fiancée and I are even considering having Clearview supply the wine for our wedding. ITISTHATGOOD.

Best wine tasting and entertainment, Clear view winery offers wine tasting and entertainment on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Entertainment takes place on outdoor porch with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Snacks including a great cheese board are also available. Owners are very personable and accommodating. Music is great. Especially like the seyval Blanc which is unusual. Definitely great way to spend a weekend afternoon in the country.

The atmosphere at Clearview is really exceptional. The people who work there are friendly and knowledgeable. Sometimes they will have live music playing out on their porch and its really pleasant. The inside is a big open tasting room and they are generous with their pours. If you want to stretch your legs they also invite you to check out their vineyard which is propped up on a hill behind the winery. Walking up the hill rewards you with views, and Adirondack chairs to sit in.

I had the chance to visit it with my company for our anniversary outing day and had a really good time. The owner was so passionate, nice and told us a lot of great stories about the winery and how they are making wine. I highly recommend you to go to see them!

We stumbled upon this winery(after a different and bigger one didn’t seem inviting). It is such a nice little place. The pizza was delicious… actually everything was. We sat on the patio where they had live music playing. Not too loud, it was just perfect. So glad we discovered this winery, we had such a great time.

I discovered this winery last spring because I was stopped by the owner at the local farmer’s market. Recognizing a legit wino, he asked me if I would like a sample. Of course I would like a sample. Not only did I love the white wines, but I really loved the Cabernet Sauvignon. We have now gone here a few times on the weekend and they do not disappoint. They always have live music and there homemade sangria is amazing! They close in the winter but should be reopening in April. I just selfishly hope they do not become too popular!

This is by far one of the best wineries in southern NY. We came here on a chilly and overcast day in October and had a great time despite the weather. First, the wines here are great. The reds, while young, are well-bodied and wholesome. Our flight($ 5) included 2 whites and 4 reds. Most of the reds were on the earthy or spicy side. I’m not a fan of spice but the smoky/earthy ones were wonderful. Their red blend, the Monet, was my favorite. We went home with four bottles of that. We’d inquired about the other wines that weren’t on their flight list, and they let us try those, too! We ended up trying 3 – 4 wines more for no extra charge! Second, the snacks. Oh lordy the snacks. Having visited a number of wineries in the Hudson Valley, I know to fill up on food before go. So few of them have hors d’oeuvres to accompany the wines, which can be pretty dangerous if you’re trying wines on an empty stomach! But I digress. Clearview Vineyard serves an awesome cheese plate($ 12). It is big enough for 3 – 4 people to munch on, and comes with 3 different cheeses, 2 types of crackers, pita chips, fruit(strawberry, kiwi, grapes), dried cranberries and such, and wasabi peas. Truly a treat. We also had the baguette with fresh mozz, tomato, basil, oil, and balsamic($ 8). Delish! The owners are lovely people and made us feel very welcome. Karen was a great hostess who conversed with my BF and me the entire time we were there. She never made us feel pressured to buy anything(although we did go home with 7 bottles). We will definitely be back!

Cute place, I didn’t love the white wines, but they had a few red wines that were really good. I’m a little bias as I have been to a ton of vineyards in CT& most of them I loved, but this place was definitely worth stopping by if you’re in Warwick. Make sure you check out the vineyards & walk up the hill to the top, the view is spectacular. They had a couple of apps here that looked pretty good, like their cheese platter. The people working here were nice, really knew their wines, I’m just comparing this place to the other vineyards I’ve been to & with that being said, I’d give it 3⁄5.

As we have been working through visiting every winery on the Shawagunk Wine Trail we have met some really nice people, but far and away the nicest is Frank who owns Clearview Vineyard with his wife. The wines were very enjoyable, and it was interesting to taste his single varietal white wines he makes with grapes grown on his property. Our favorites were his reds and red blends made from Cab Franc and Merlot grown in the finger lakes and north fork. Very nice wines, and I was shocked when Frank said he had only been making wines for about 4 years, as the wines were very good. Frank walked us through each wine, and gave us a great run down of his vineyard, its history, the cat, and the events there. He then walked us up to the vineyard and let us through the deer fence. Here you can walk up a steep hill amongst the vines, and at the top there are some adirondack chairs and a swing bench, and STUNNING views. I could have sat up there until the sunset. Truly beautiful spot to see how majestic NY really is. Definite revisit.
