This is definitely one of my favorite places to eat in New England. Everybody is so friendly, the food is delicious, and the drinks at the bar are tasty. My wife’s favorite is the PomaMartini. Sweet and Sour Chicken is great, Fried rice has pork and tons of flavor, wonton soup is just right, and don’t forget the dumplings! Watch the game here, get it to go, but don’t miss out on this place. Seriously, it’s a gem!!!

Food was bland. Lacked all flavor. EXTREMELYOVERCOOKED. Ordered food to the Hilton Hotel and this food is just gross. 50 $ worth of food because they advise red there company in the books here. Deliever guy said we were rude… What the hell?!?

I’ve been going to the Jade Dragon for almost the 20 years I’ve lived in Warwick. Everything is delicious and the owner, Judy is a sweetheart. Full bar, parking lots of seating and a 22 year history there means they are doing something right! This is one of a handful of Chinese restaurants I will eat at in Warwick.

Was looking for Chinese to be delivered to our hotel but they would not deliver one hour before their closing time so we picked it up. We ordered the sweet and sour pork and sweet and sour chicken combo platter. The sweet and sour sauce is the weirdest thing I’ve ever tasted. It had cherries and pineapples in the sauce. I’ve never seen cherries in sweet and sour sauce. Neither of us ate that dish, it was way too sweet. The rice was a bland fried rice that was better than the main course but certainly NOT good either. Lastly, the egg roll was green inside, not sure what it was stuffed with. Again, weird never had an egg roll like this. We threw out both meals without eating them. Perhaps this is a good place but NOT for sweet and sour dishes.

So disappointed. Tried after our regular place closed and the Unilocal reviews looked promising. I’ve determined if you want fried or Americanized Chinese food then you’ll like this. There is nothing good about this other than the nice wait staff. Everything is over sauced, thickened beyond belief with cornstarch — even the hot and sour soup, and tasteless. Everything was only salt or sesame oil. No fresh flavors of ginger, garlic, chilis. Will not be going back.

The atmosphere is typical Chinese restaurant but the people who work here make you feel like you’re part of their family! I go maybe twice a year and they know who I am and act like we have been best friends all our lives both when I walk in and when I leave. The food is incredible, they have the best beef chow mein around! Definitely in my top 5 for Chinese food places in RI!

The best Chinese dining experience in Warwick. Good volcano bowls and many different combos to choose from.

I wish zero stars was an option. We ordered takeout from here and the horror began when we walked in the restaurant. When we waked in we were treated by an argument where a bartender refused to make a certain drink(I think it was a pomegranate margarita) because she doesn’t like them. After that we got our food and went home when we got home we discovered that my sweet and sour chicken was a bag of chicken and a tub of what appeared to be maraschino cherries and pineapple slices. So Chinese food with some assembly required I can dig that I guess, but no the food was literally the juice from the cherry jar. We also got fried rice which was super bland and it was meant to be pork and I discovered almost every other meat inside of it. My boyfriend got their lemon chicken which was under cooked and so slimy that even fully cooked I don’t think it would be fit for human consumption. Do not eat here it will make you sick. I’m surprised the Health department hasn’t paid them a visit.

I’ve been going to the Jade Dragon since it opened. I’ve moved away many times, but whenever I walk in the door Judy recognizes me and can predict my order. I am and always will be a loyal fan.

Just moved to the area and out if the half dozen Chinese restaurants I’ve tried this is my favorite local place. Great menu. Great food. Great drinks. Service is ok, and I wish there was a bigger bar. Also, I don’t give 5 stars too easily…

Looking at the other reviews on this site, I guess it depends on what you’re looking for. Our one experience with Jade Dragon(delivery): — Good things: the service was great. Friendly, quick, good experience on the phone. Driver was quick, found our place just fine, was friendly and polite. — Bad: the food. We ordered several different things — a beef dish, a spicy tofu dish, soup, vegetables, egg rolls. Everything was the same gray color. Everything tasted the same as each other. There was no differentiating the«spicy tofu» from the soup from the beef with something-or-other. It was gloopy, gray, and uniform. I’d also expected that some of the dishes would include white rice — but there was no rice in the order. I guess if you don’t ask for it you don’t get any. Truly — I’m not that picky an eater, but this is the first time ever that I didn’t finish my meal and I threw away the leftovers. It was a major disappointment. I’m relatively new in the area, and have tried four Chinese places in Warwick so far. One is awesome(and my opinion of it just went up even more), another two are just-OK. But Jade Dragon is definitely not my cup of tea.

I’ve been visiting Jade a Dragon since I was a little kid, and I’d have to say their food remains delicious. The service is always quality and the staff always accommodating. On my last visit I was looking for a combination plate that they didn’t offer on the menu and my waitress quickly changed my order around to get me the items I was looking for at the cheapest price. Absolutely love their wonton soup and fried dumplings, which I get nearly every visit. I would absolutely recommend Jade Dragon to anyone.

Chris W’s experience is very unfortunate and sadly I have not ordered delivery so please do not use this review as a measurement for that service. This place looks like a total dump from the outside. It’s in a micro plaza with a pizza joint and a barber shop. The sign is a tacky«jade» color and doesn’t really draw you in… or get noticed. Well, don’t judge a magazine by it’s glossy cover because the matte finish works for this place. The restaurant itself is a small 800 sq feet or so of tudor style walls and ceilings blended with a Polynesian island look and feel. The bar, when you first walk in, is a small four to six stools, usually occupied. The restaurant has a mix of booths and tables throughout and often times accomodates larger parties. The service here can be a bit slow if you’re ordering mixed drinks. I recommend ordering two at a time if you plan on having another. The mango mai thai is AMAZING! Very consistently strong too, regardless of server or bartender. This is the real selling point of the restaurant in my opinion. Since I imagine most of you are now wondering, yes, the scorpion bowls are delicious ;) The food is a different story. It’s typical American-Chinese food which I know most of y’all love but I’d much rather have dim sum or authentic Chinese food. There are two people that work here who I really enjoy seeing. One is this insanely hot waiter who works on the weekends. If you like having something nice to look at while being a total fat ass, blue eyes has you covered. Even though I can sit here and seranade you all day with eloquent articulations of his nice butt in khakis or his mellow attitude I doubt any of you want to hear it… even though we know you do! The real gem is Judy though! She is the owner and quite the ambassador of Warwick. Judy knows EVERYONE! You go in there once, introduce yourself and pay respects and that woman will remember everything from what you were wearing, who you were with, to what you ordered. So if you don’t want your date to know you were there a week earlier with someone else, don’t pick this spot. If you like the warm and fuzzies of being a regular at a spot this is the place for you. Visit here for drinks over food.

I am new to the area and noticed this place had a great rating… because Unilocal is usually really good, I called and placed my order to be delivered within 1 mile of this place at 615 on a Sunday when it had not arrived by 730 I was hungry and disappointed. the driver finally calls to tell me he can’t find my street. when I called the restaurant to speak to a manager I was promptly hung on. How did this place get so many stars? DONOTBELIEVE the good reviews! However, If your really hungry and want to be totally disappointed this IS the place for you…

Have been eating here for years, consistently good. Venture to say some of the best take out. Dining room is very dated. But once you get past the atmosphere, the only thing you will be looking at is the bottom of your plate. Highly recommend.
