Extremely thorough, smart, comprehensive and thoughtful. Supported by a staff that follows through. Dr Buttross offers meaningful and effective advice. Found her to have excellent listening skills and proceeded according to who the patients is. Doesn’t practice the philosophy of one size fitting all but caters to you and your specific needs.
When asked, she referred me to a specialist — who also happens to be excellent.
What impressed me was at the completion of the exam, she invited me to email me her any questions that came to mind, at a future date. I did so… and receive a response.
Most unfortunately she doesn’t accept my new insurance— my big loss :-(

Dr. Buttross is terrific. You get her full time and attention. She’s smart and thoughtful, and friendly. I have an eye disease, but have to say it’s kind of fun to go get an exam with her.
