I am a frequent patron of Chipotle. This establishment is the worst one I have ever eaten at. And in fairness and because of convenience I have tried this place three times. Each time the food quality is the same –subpar. The rice is extremely salty. The service is slow as molasses. I have been to Chipotle’s where the line is out the door and I go through the line faster. At this place, there could be two people in front of you and you have to wait… wait…wait…and wait some more for them to boil rice and chop chicken and take breaks and whatever else they must do. If you want Chipotle, I would walk the distance to Union Station and get it from there instead.

Basically what you would expect from a chipotle. I’m happy with the speed and efficiency of the service and I have no complaints about their pleasantness. They are up to date on their secret menu items, FYI the quesadilla is banging!

Hair in the chicken bowl! I go there all the time for lunch because it’s close to my work. Had bad experience like over burn green pepper and onions, which it’s fine, i can just pick it out. But hair is unacceptable. It’s just disgusting! I know it’s just a 8 dollars chicken bowl. But next time, I would rather spend the money somewhere else.

I ordered 3 meals online so I don’t wait in line after work with my mom and girlfriend. I arrived at the exact time and staff was friendly, I didn’t check my food cuz there was no line so I thought my food was right. I drove home and when I arrived came to see that all my food was wrong, none of them were right. Some of us are allergic to some ingredients that’s why I especially wrote it when I ordered. I called and told them about it, didn’t help much I asked to speak with the manager and no answer. I had to drive 5 miles back from home with the traffic and the heat. I wasn’t looking for free food or a refund, all I wanted was my burrito bowls to be the way I asked and paid for. They seemed mad and annoyed by me. This black girl literally threw the bag and so I just grabbed it and walked out. Worst chipotle, managers are the worst too, some of the employees are nice but really? All I wanted was my food right. They may not care but I will never come back here.

Worst chipotle ever. There was no line which was great but the food and the service are awful. My burrito bowl was doomed from the start. It got the last scraping of rice which included hard basil twigs. Beans were also at the end of the pot and ice cold. The lettuce was browning and ended up picking it all off. To top it off half my bag of chips were stale. All the while being greeted with the coldest attitudes and rolling eyes. But at least she acknowledged me, the other workers just walked away. Took an hour to eat my food, mostly because I had to pick trash from every bite. Terrible.

I’ve had my share of Chipotle experiences and a lot of them have not been good. I was pleasantly surprised at the excellent service I got here. I was in and out in 90 seconds after arriving early for my online order pickup. The staff was friendly, efficient and the food was on point.

My experience here was horrible. The food cut into tiny pieces. This is the not a good branch.

This location does not know how to roll a burrito. I love Chipotle, but every time I go to this location I end up eating my burrito in layers. Make sure they mix up your burrito if you go here!

The staff is not friendly. Very slow. Management is good however. Takes a bit for things to get done. Guacamole is not that good. Others have better guac.

I hate to complain about lunch under $ 10 but Hey it is my $ 10! My corn was ice cold. Normally I wouldn’t bother to complain but this is the second time this has happened to me at this location. It is a good thing that I don’t eat meat because most of the time it is undercooked. I know you are busy but you really need to step it up at this location before you make a lot of people sick.

I think THIS is one of the best chipotle around… Clean & the food taste fresh… The only thing was seating arrangements… On a busy Saturday afternoon. I would think they would’ve picked a better time to host a orientation for new workers… They took up a whole section. No seats and ppl were on each other backs

This is the worse place in DC, I love DC because is a good place for hang out and food, the lady in the front does not have costumer services skills, I just ask for something and she answer in bad mode, then she throw away the food and ask for the next costumer, can you believe that?, then one of the employees said«you have to go or I’ll call the police, I respond«this is unfair», but it was a bad experience, I hope they change his mind, the service in this restaurant is the worse.

This is my second Chipotle review — and I prefer not to review chains. So why am I writing it? My experience at this particular location has been nothing but excellent, and I don’t understand the myriad of extremely negative reviews. I particularly do not understand how, as of today, this location and the 7th St. location(which is unquestionably terrible) have identical 2.5 star ratings. This location is always packed — like the 7th St. location — but the staff here are professional and keep the line moving. Yes, they occasionally run out of ingredients, but that happens in any high-volume environment. Including waiting in line, I’ve never been here more than 10 minutes — including during the lunch rush. Overall, this is probably the best-managed Chipotle in DC. Skip the 7th St. Chipotle and walk the extra distance to eat here.

I work and live near this Chipotle location so I go here about twice per week. I consider myself a big chipotle fan so even though this location doesn’t have the best customer service I still give it a 4 star because to me if you choose to go to Chipotle it shouldn’t be for their service or ambiance obviously but for their taste of food and convienece of fast service. I belive Chipotle is the best example for«best bang for your buck». I mean the amount of food you get for 7 bucks is insane. And it’s not even just about the quantity here that I’m bragging about but also the quality of their food. Their food taste so damn good that even though it’s more than you need, I still finish every last bite evey single time. I also love how generous they are, You can always ask for extra anything and never get charged for it. My favorite is the Barbacoa Burrito. This meat is so delicious and juicey, but I also like their chicken and steak. I have personally never tried their Carnitas(pork)but I hear great things about it. Although the burrito is the most delicious item on their menue I enjoy their salad bowls too because if you’re trying to watch your figure you can’t be eating a big ol’ burrito every day. Last but not least is their Organic(as they claim) sour cream. It defnitely tastes better than any other sour cream I’ve ever had. I love Chipotle and their sister company«ShopHouse» because they are innovative with the type of qulaity fast food they provide to people.

This place is disgusting. Not in a food tastes bad kind of way, but in the way that you hate yourself for eating it. It’s Chipotle. Not amazing(obviously) but it does the job — as long as the job is to get as full as possible while overpaying for fast food-like ingredients. I can’t say I don’t like it. This location is pretty much the worst, though. The process feels slower than change in Congress and the employees just aren’t that nice. I always feel like I’m an inconvenience. Sorry? They run out of chips constantly, too. On the upside, it’s really easy to take a ton of napkins. They come in handy for the gluttony sweats.

Neck tattoos are my favorite on my Chipotle servers. Been here two times. Overly salty chips, basic ingredients often out, slow and incompetent service, and unsanitary overall. Fire the staff and start afresh. Saw trash bags piled up in plain sight of passersby at night. So lazy they can’t even take out the trash. It stays inside. Avoid.

This is my regular Chipotle as it’s less than two blocks from my apartment. I’m usually here on a Saturday or Sunday for a quick lunch. When I first moved to the area two years ago, they definitely were on the slow side… a line of five people in front could take ten minutes. They’ve definitely sped things up and improved things for the better. One thing I love is they give much more generous portion sizes than other Chipotles in the area… nothing like getting more chicken or steak than expected!

This is my second Chipotle review. I figured I’d never write another one because obviously one is enough and two I can always stop eating there if it sucks as much as I say it does, but this location warrants its own review, so here it is. I like Chipotle actually. When it’s good, it’s really good. Except when it’s not — like when you eat at this location. I hate that it’s bad because I just moved into this area and liked the convenience of having a Chipotle across the street. I will list my concerns in no particular order: * Quality control — last night I ordered a burrito bowl to go and when I took my first bite at home, I almost chipped a tooth. Obviously, the rice could have used a few more minutes. Or 10. After my third bite or so, I noticed something odd and looked down to see that I was chewing on a giant bay leaf. Gross. Take that out — come on! * Distracted staff — that’s putting it nicely. Hey, I’ve worked in food and retail and I know it’s not glamorous, but that doesn’t mean you can just zone out whenever you feel like it — especially if you’re working the line or the cash wrap. What am I talking about? How about not answering cell phone calls while you’re in the process of ringing me up. Or, if I’m being unreasonable, how about at least swiping my card while you’re on your phone so I can get on with my day and eat my food? * Customers — Yes, I know, this location has no control over who comes in, but at what point do you enforce some limitations on the amount of «extra sides» you dole out? I went with my boyfriend on a Sunday afternoon once and waited 30+ minutes, even though there were only about 6 people in front of us. Why? Because every single one of them wanted 10 extra sides of sour cream, 7 containers of salsa, lettuce, beans, guac, you name it. This is not a buffet or a grocery store — it’s a chain burrito place! Once people realize they can get an unlimited amount of sides, they really go for it. I’ve waited 20 minutes with only one other person in front of me because of this. Maybe it’s just been that kind of week, but I think I’m swearing this place off for a while. I can get over poor customer service if the food’s good, but the last two times I’ve eaten here, it hasn’t been.

I don’t feel particularly compelled to review chains, but I walked by this Chipotle today, on Easter Sunday, and I saw that they had tragically misspelled a sign informing customers of their unscheduled shut-down for the day. If there’s one thing that kills my chubby it’s when people don’t know basic grammar. Please see uploaded picture in reference to deadly sin. I’m allergic to avocado so imagine my orgasmic hysteria when I found out that others LESS fortunate than myself actually have to pay for avocado if they want it at Chipotle. It’s Mexican food; shouldn’t it be free? Also – the service at this particular branch is terrible. It epitomizes bad service in DC: entitled wankers with neck tattoos who make you feel like you’re inconveniencing them by suggesting they do their jobs. How about you put a fire under it, chief? That way, I can go back to my couch and enjoy my burrito bowl with a side of hate. Mmmmmkay? Thanks.

I’ve been a Chipotle customer since 2002 and pretty much think it’s solid fare for under $ 10. I can’t do anything about the customers who come here, yelling and screaming in line and talking on the phone while they are trying to place an order. I can’t do anything about the customers who spread out and leave a mess on the very limited seating of this restaurant, but I can say the food is good, the people behind the counter were generous with doling out ingredients, and the line moves at a good pace considering how much people request for their burritos and bowls.
