There are few places in big cities with such a friendly atmosphere. I work beer, wine, and liquor tastings and have been to countless liquor stores. No one has ever been so friendly, welcoming, and helpful as Neil and his staff. I had a great time working and hanging out with them and would encourage you to stop in and check out their great selection. Keep it up Crown :)

This liquor store was horrible. The guys working there were rude, and perhaps mute? They do not have a great selection, the place smelled funny and I am surprised the guy that checked us out didn’t throw our purchases at us. There are WAY WAY better local Liquor stores to patron, but we were in a pinch. and it was on the way. But Never again.

When I first read the reviews for this place, I’ll be honest, I thought they were fake. I was thinking everyone who had posted something was a friend of the owner and just saying nice things to justify giving him a good rating.
Regardless, I went to check the place out.
I quickly realized I was really wrong in my initial assumption. This guy is genuinely nice and inviting. Somehow I found myself quickly engrossed in a conversation with four other people, two from Bolivia and two from Montréal-​all of us exchanging travel stories from our international adventures – over a generous sample of a nice whisky. As one of the individuals put it best, it felt like the scene of a good european hostel.

Aneal is awesome and the store has a great wine & liquor selection. One of the best stores in the city! Definitely worth the visit.
