I purchased some items from Bonobos in Georgetown and they recommended taking them here. I had three suits, two pairs of chinos, and a pair of jeans that needed tailoring. The suits were done impeccably the first time. The chinos and Jeans came out a bit shorter than I thought, and they offered to fix them and have them ready within two days. I didn’t feel rushed when dropping them off, or when picking them up(they let me try on everything to make sure I was pleased). They also send you a text message when your items are available to pick up. I would recommend going on a weekday since Georgetown on a weekend is a bit hectic.

Had three of my suits tailored here, always received good results! Good work but it will cost you a bit.

I went to Do’s for alterations on my wedding dress and the timing, service, and quality was perfect! Vivian was very detailed in explaining how she would make the changes and walked me through the whole process so I felt really comfortable. She offered great suggestions for improving the style of the dress and made it more of a fit for my personal style. She was also patient during the fittings to make sure that I was happy with the fit and felt comfortable in the dress. The results were amazing and showed experience and high quality tailoring. I highly recommend Do’s. Thanks so much!

Do’s absolutely saved my life two months ago. A horrible banshee-tailor, whose slackened visage I hope never to see again, was holding my wedding dress hostage. I was finally able to wrest it away from her, with police intervention(!), but over the course of 5 weeks, no alterations had been performed. Further, the dress was filthy and needed to be professionally cleaned. With our wedding only 2 weeks away, I brought my dress, tearfully, to Do’s. Do’s MIRACULOUSLY performed tailoring services in a single week so that I could have the dress drycleaned. Moreover, though I assumed I would have to pay through the nose for rush services, they charged me half the price the other tailor had charged, were professional, courteous, efficient, and down right kind-hearted. My husband’s tuxedo came out beautifully as well! Highly recommend.

We were on an east coast college tour and I had a pair of culottes that I was planning on wearing quite a bit and the hem had come out. We popped into Mr. Do’s after being directed there by one of the shops in Georgetown. Mr. Do happily agreed to mend them on the spot and we were in and out in 10 mins. Great customer service!

DONOTGOTODO’S TAILOR. The absolute worst, most expensive, tailoring I’ve ever experienced. Not only have they botched a simple shortening of two pairs of expensive jeans I brought in but they also charge outrageous prices for horrible tailoring. Do himself is nice until you bring up that your unsatisfied with the job then he gets rude and nasty and still insists you pay the full charge. I would not ever recommend this location to anyone.

High quality finished products and service. Yes they’re pricey, but I’d rather pay a little more for this type of service to be right. Thanks for taking good care of me!

I’ve been going to Do’s for over 10 years now and he is the best in DC. They do quality work and really take the time to get to know your style and fit. I take all my suits here and the work has been excellent and always done on time. They have always been able to accommodate short turn arounds especially in the middle of their busy season. I can’t recommend this place enough and the owner is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet.

I have been going to Do’s regularly for about 3 years. He is the only tailor I trust with my clothes. The negative review before this one is very surprising to me. There have been one or maybe two times over the years when I’ve needed a «re-do» upon trying on the garment at home. Not once has he ever asked me to pay to fix. Also surprising with the prior review is the comment that Do’s was inexpensive — Do’s is definitely on the pricey side, but the quality, skill, and experience makes it worth it to me. I know offhand that simple pants hemming is $ 15 and it is $ 5 to attach a button. Do’s can do same-day, while you wait services such as pants hemming, but you pay a rush rate.

I was looking for a new tailor to alter a suit(sleeve and pants lengths, suit jacket fitted, and ‘neck point’ fixed) as my old tailor lost my wedding tux for a month the last time I gave him a job. I went to Do’s after reading various reviews online that stated Do’s did a great job for a reasonable price. I called 3 tailors and Do’s was indeed the cheapest out of the recommended options that were in convenient locations for me. Unfortunately, the price reflected the quality of the work. The«neck point» had to be altered three different times and is still not quite right on one side. The staff was always polite and apologetic, but no discount or offer was made for my trouble. Basically, I made 4 trips and paid $ 165 and the job is still not done right.
