Busy, but they get you in and out pretty quickly. I like their toppings bar, too. It lets you customize a burger without extra charge. I also love their veggie burger! Best one I’ve had so far — hands down! It wasn’t dry, unlike most veggie burgers, and the bread perfectly complimented the patty’s taste. It was quite a surprise! Definitely a casual joint. Three stars because A few dodgy people popped in and out of the restaurant when I was there last time, trying to steal the trash bins for some reason, though it’s not something that happens regularly.

This food is over price and the service food expensive and it’s not that great I can give no stars

Food was okay. I mean there was nothing really wrong with the place but nothing special either. The service was fast, the fixings bar was on point that was pretty nice. My burger and fries were made the way I asked and they were good. The tables were a little close to each other but to be honest for DC and especially Chinatown that is not a surprise. If asked to go again I would say yes. I wouldn’t suggest it as a favorite must go. Overall I was satisfied.

Food is great. I love the veggie burger! Every time i go to Fuddruckers they are always fast and friendly. Those wedges are the bomb. Every time i go to chinatown i stop past and eat. Lol

Not bad for a burger spot. Shake shack does them greasier, but lettuce buns are in! Burger or a salad? Now you have both

I went to FUDDRUCKERS for the first time ever several months ago. Normally when I’m in Chinatown and I’m craving a burger, I’ll hightail it to the FIVEGUYS restaurant nearby on 8th and H Streets, NW. But on the day I opted for FUDDRUCKERS(riding the Red Line Metro after work), it was out of sheer curiosity. Frankly, I didn’t know what to expect. The moment I stepped inside, I eyed the menu, which was emblazoned on a wall not far from where staff members were engaged in various work activities. I was handed a small electronic device, with which I was told(by the employee who stood ready to take my order) I would be notified of my order. I felt almost as if I were abroad again in a restaurant in Paris or São Paulo, where I’d struggle to express myself in a foreign language in order to get the meal I desired. Really weird. Anyway, I placed my order and took my seat. At the time I was in FUDDRUCKERS(between 3:30&4:00PM), aside from one raucous group of 20 or 30-somethings making merry, the atmosphere was rather sedate. Rather than continue staring out onto H Street, NW, I read from a book I had in my backpack. Several minutes later, there was this BUZZ-BUZZ-BUZZ sound emanating from the said electronic device. That was the signal for me to pick up the burger and fries I ordered. My FUDDRUCKERS experience was OK. But, given the other options that are available, I’m in no hurry to go back there anytime soon.

I haven’t been to a Fuddruckers in years! I heard that things had changed and I decided to give it another shot. I’m on the fence. The 1⁄3 lb burger was too salty for my taste. My sodium sensitivity is kind of high, so I thought it was just me, but the 2 guys with me agreed. I like being able to add my own toppings to my meal and the touchscreen soda machine gives you plenty of drink choices. The chocolate shake was the highlight of the meal! The customer service was lacking. But the food wasn’t good enough that I’ll be back soon, so I can overlook a few overworked cashiers.

I came late and ordered fish and chips. It was close to closing time but I asked to make sure it would be ok to make that. When I received the fish, it was blatantly undercooked. I returned it and the manager was very apologetic, and offered to replace the meal so I ordered a turkey burger. It seemed fine, until I woke up with food poisoning this morning. Do not recommend!

Went to the one in LA when I was younger so was excited when my cousin suggested we go here for lunch! Was disappointed. The onion rings barely had any batter on them, the bacon grilled cheese wasn’t terrible but none of the cheese was melted! Definitely won’t be coming back. Oh well, took a trip down memory lane.

This is one busy location since it’s in the heart of Chinatown, tourists galore. If you don’t mind crowds, waiting, or got a lot of time on your hands then please go on. Otherwise it’s another Fuddruckers as usual, space is limited to instead of the usual two sided veggie bar, it’s one sided cafeteria style. That along with the condiments and drinks right next to each other cause choke points in the line. The updated coke machines are a plus, but then again the numerous drink possibilities makes kids go crazy and older folks scratching their heads. The condiments were also forever running out, while bags of trash were being hauled away through the dining area, all in all, I guess you gotta do what you gotta do when it’s busy. I say, just dine at another location.

A manager gave me a card for a free shake after the staff took 20 minutes to make one for me(to go) and made it wrong. When I went back to redeem the free shake, the restaurant wouldn’t honor it because the manager no longer worked there. Classy. Never going back.

Great foods for pretty cheap prices considering. Washington d.c.My brothers cheeseburgers as great with hot melted cheese and free extra toppings. My mom ordered a plain bun for free(it usually costs 40 cents at other fuddrucker places) and just added her own toppings as she pleased. My dad said his black bean burger was very good. But best of all their fillins are the best toppings money can buy: always fresh and huge variety.

As someone who generally enjoys Fuddruckers, I was surprisingly disappointed in the quality of food I received from this particular location. My veggie burger, an item I’ve ordered since the chain began carrying it on their menu, was literally just heated on the grill. There were no grill marks; it wasn’t actually cooked at all. I could have heated it as well at home in the microwave. Our fries, one order of regular, and one sweet potato, were also barely cooked. The regular fries were soft and chewy. The seasoning was lacking as well. This location did have the upgraded pop machines with flavorings. The shakes were also as good as usual. So, we were happy with our drink and dessert. Thank goodness! Finally, I’ll add that while I recognize they were busy the night we visited, I was disappointed in the lack of cleanliness throughout. The tables, floors and bathrooms were all dirty. It was actually hard to find a table because none of the available ones had been cleaned. Is being busy an excuse for not cleaning? There are lots of restaurant choices in this neighborhood. We will likely choose something different from now on. Maybe you should too.

The food is good. The prices are decent. I love the potato wedges. You get to all the«fixins» yourself: lettuce, pickle, tomato, etc. The employees are nice. When I have had a rare issue, the managers always took care of me. This is conveniently located near Verizon Center and Reagal theaters.

I came here with my family and friend’s family after we all ran the Color Run in DC in and around the Nationals Stadium. We came in with low expectations but overall it wasn’t as bad as other fellow Unilocalers had described. **Please note, we did JUST run a 5K and all of us were starving, anything and everything would have tasted remarkable to us in that moment. Everyone who ordered a burger thoroughly enjoyed the condiment/topping stations — literally. They made a complete mess of the place! We all had very cold hands due to running in the complete cold and rain, so they were forgiven. They basically made salads on top of their burgers with all the access lettuce, sliced tomatoes, onions, salsa, jalapenos and cheese added. I skipped out on the burger ordering and went with their nachos. For some reason I just couldn’t eat a burger, especially when nothing compares to Shake Shack. I must say that we are all very easily pleased. With that said, the coolest part of Fuddruckers was the SODAMACHINE. It was like magic! I never drink soda, and, therefore, have never seen or used one of those machines before. I don’t know what concoctions and potions everyone else made but I was super happy with my blue raspberry PowerAde. Seriously, super cool!

when u Visit Washington DC, do not eat Fuddruckers — Washington DC… they will charge u for the food u ordered, but won’t give u what u ordered and charge for more then make u believe it was supposed to be… and ALWAYSCHECKYOURRECEIPTBEFORE U LEAVE!!! ordered 3 reg chili cheese for $ 3.99EACH… 2 ½ burgers for $ 5.89 which was suppose to only be $ 2.89 for that day and they charged an extra $ 1 for the american cheese which was the: single cheese: u can buy from walmart… take a look at the photo… do u see 3ORDERSOFCHILICHEESEFRIES??? the left photo should’ve been the FULLORDER of the CHILICHEESEFRIES… but they’re such crooked assholes that they cheated me 2 full order of chili cheese fries, instead they put it with my burgers which shouldn’t have been… i heard the one cashier guy ask the dumb ass crook lady where the other 2 chili cheese order was and she told him«oh they’re there» and pushed him away… i didn’t think anything of it @ the time, till we got back to our hotel and found out she cheated me off of a full order of 2 chili cheese fries… with no drinks, it was almost $ 30!!! never again!!!

I came in with low expectation but it wasn’t as bad as other had described. It wasn’t amazing but everything but the burger(I know it’s a burger joint) was actually decent. The beef patty definitely need some work. I ordered 1⁄3 lb original burger medium rare — the patty center was served iced cold. The potato wedges and sweet potato fries however were well made –piping hot, crunchy, and not one bit greasy! Additionally, I enjoyed the condiment/topping stations — literally made my own salad with the lettuce, sliced tomato, onion, and salsa. Also melted Jalapeño and cheddar cheese as condiment? major yum! Lastly, unlimited soda choices — peach sprite zero? strawberry Fanta? Wished I had a bigger bladder and sample all the flavors! Tables were consistently turned over. The topping/condiment stations were kept clean(I made a minor salsa spill — before I can take a step over to the next topping choice, there was a staff hovering and cleaning after me). It’s hard to say I would return any time soon especially since Shake Shack and Five Guys are just down the street. Nevertheless, would definitely give their exotic burger a try if I do along with the oh so yummy sweet potato fries!
