G.R.U.M.P. -- Give Rad Urban Made Presents

I really hope this is, or will become, an annual event! Comfortably crowded into the small hall are around 15 or so local artists with all types of things for sale, from jewelry to stationary to. .. well, general ‘stuff.’ There’s even a little furniture! And the people here — volunteers (I think) and artists — are outstanding; warm and friendly, and for the most part excited to talk about their goods and techniques if you show interest. (I’m sure they wanted to make sales, but I didn’t feel any ‘hard-​sell’ as much as friendliness.) I wish this event was held a week earlier because most of my Christmas shopping was complete already. However, a lot of what I saw here was unique and too good to pass up, so I still left with birthday and other gifts for next year. Many of the artists seem to primarily sell online also, so this was a great opportunity to see their things in person.
