Melissa did a wonderful job with my hair and make-​up at my wedding. I’m lucky that I found her after only one other trial with another vendor. When my venue changed, she suggested that I get darker eye makeup. I was worried at first, but she was right. I received a lot of compliments on the outcome! Another thing I really like about Melissa is that she’s really calm and relaxed, which totally helped me when we were getting ready at the hotel, where everything was a bit chaotic. Her calm demeanor helped me relax, especially when I was being photographed and filmed.

What bride doesn’t want to look her best on her wedding and be 100% confident that’s the case? With so many makeup artists to choose from I had a really hard time deciding. I even created an excel spreadsheet that scored each artist based on a number of factors, but most importantly was someone that was kind and treated me like a person undergoing one of the most important events of her life rather than a business transaction. I still pat myself on the back for the great choice I had made. The makeup trial was flawless, even with my horrible new bangs! I’d put together a pinterest board of hair/​makeup that I liked, and Melissa delivered not exactly like the photos but rather adapted the look & feel to my personal skin type and tone! The makeup lasted over 12 hours even in the summer heat, and my engagement photos turned out FANTASTIC! I felt like very side of my face was «the good side» :) Needless to say the day of my wedding Melissa and her team did an amazing job for my mothers, bridesmaids and myself. I’ve received serious compliments «you’re the most beautiful bride and have the most beautiful bridal party I’ve ever seen!» Thanks Melissa + team! Should the occasion call for a professional makeup/​hair artist I’ll definitely come straight back to Melissa.
