great selection of clean, luscious local produce and freshly prepared meals to go. Meat section is modest but it does the job. Competitively priced and they have a great array of selection especially considering the space.

A great neighborhood shop with local fresh produce and staples for any kitchen. Very friendly and helpful staff. Has a good wine and beer selection too.

I really love having this store in walking distance — I’d much rather go here than giant — any day! The employees are helpful and the selections get better every time I go in — they are very responsive to the community!

I love this place – and I’m in here enough now that the staff know me by name. Everyone is friendly, and it’s so nice to not have to deal with the hassle of Giant! They have a lot of organic/vegan/gluten-free products, as well plenty of fresh produce at really reasonable prices. Their prepared food section is great(mostly made by local vendors working out of the DC Central kitchen), and they do a good job of changing up what they offer. They also get daily deliveries from Bullfrog Bagels, and bread(soooo good) from Lyon Bakery. Rounding things out, they have a great beer and wine and cider selection – the staff is knowledgeable about their selections. The only complaint(and I’ve noticed that it’s improving) is that some items aren’t clearly labelled for prices – especially the prepared items, which I expect is because they often are new. That said, the staff usually know the prices(or will cheerfully look it up if it’s new). They have a discount program, and they accept EBT(and I think they give additional discounts on produce for anyone using EBT).

Great to see healthy and fresh food options instead of just the same fast food on almost every other corner.

I stopped by on the way home(after a long slow 3 hour drive) — thank God/the universe/(insert higher power here) for this place! Good selection(I wanted a salad, I found a salad), good prices, super friendly staff and a warm neighborhood feel. In terms of grocery stores Good Food Market will absolutely be my «Cheers»(the 30+ crowd will understand the pop culture reference).

This is a very small grocery with all the right foods. The prices are quite reasonable and the staff is very pleasant and helpful. Be sure to ask about the discounts available. This area of Rhode Island has changed dramatically and this is a great example. Close to Zeke’s and Nido’s too!

Very happy to have a market in the neighborhood, the prices are affordable, the selection are vast. It’s great to have an organic market in the area.

I’m one of the newer folks to the neighborhood and I am extremely thankful for this store. I pop in here a couple times a week for quality products at expected prices. The staff has always been super friendly and helpful.

Four words — very small; very expensive! This store caters to the higher income folks moving into the area who want a better option than the Giant down the road! If you are in the market for pasture raised eggs, fresh baked artisanal breads, and organic produce then this store is great. If your food dollars have to go a bit further, then the Good Food Market is not the store for you. Even the Yes Market is cheaper.

We live nearby this new market and we are delighted with what they are doing. We now have a location within walking distance where we can buy free range eggs, nice butter, great locally produced artisanal bread, and a good mix of organic produce. For those who can’t afford organic, they have conventional produce as well. Recently they’ve started making food in house, with chef Vic. CV’s hummus was very good. And they just have all kinds of things that you would expect in a small but effective neighborhood grocery: pasta, olives, jams, capers(that we were pleasantly shocked to find!) and tons more. And their prices are generally better than Giant on comparable food, and almost always better than Yes Organic or Whole Foods on the things that you would get there. Probably the best thing about this store is that you feel like a patron entering the bar in Cheers. The employees are fun, outgoing, and interesting people. They immediately get to know you, talk to you, ask you what else they can do to make you even happier. So even though they are practically new, we feel like the employees are part of an extended community of connections that are tying us to them and to the broader neighborhood. This is the best thing to happen on RIA in a long time. Thanks to the great folks behind this market and the amazing managers and workers.

A clean, organized neighborhood grocery store. Good food markets brings an affordable food option with healthy and fresh food. The best thing about this market it is has something for everyone. It offers fresh and healthy food at super affordable prices but also caries pricier organic brands if that’s your cup of tea. The market also seems to support food and brands from local organizations and food sources.
