Jerk At Nite

The star is for the food which probably deserves at least 3 but the service is definitely a negative 2 at most. It SUCKS! I’ve ordered from this place at least a half dozen times (I mean who else is delivering Jerk chicken late nite) but my god the service is wayyyyy tooooo slow!!! Don’t be surprised if you end up waiting 2 even 3 hours for your food (it ain’t worth that kind of wait). I don’t understand how they stay in business with this kind of service, it’s honestly embarrassing!

Good food but terrible service. Perfect for when you’re hungry late at night but patience is required lol.

this food truck looks promising. it was hard to find since the website says an old location but it is located on Howard University campus. their instagram page and website looks very appealing.
Pros: the food looks appetizing and for a medium size it looks like a good amount of food. for a hefty serving the food did not make me feel tired and heavy so maybe the organic ingredients are accurate.
Cons: the wait for food is long but understandable for the portions. for jamaican food i was not impressed. the food was mediocre. the jerk chicken had good flavor but was ruined by all the burnt skin. the mac & cheese was the best with good cheese to noodle ratio and real oven baked consistency. the rice and peas were lacking so many things. it taste like they just made white rice and added peas without thinking about any caribbean spices.
if someone has never had jamaican food I wouldn’t want this to be their first experience.
