Dr. Lavine is very knowledgeable, caring, professional. Staff is friendly and efficient. Had knee surgery and received exceptional medical service. Happy my family doctor recommended Dr. Lavine.

Great doctor who is obviously very knowledgeable about orthopedics and how the body works. Big thumbs up for being able to quickly tell what was going on, and discussing my treatment options. I have recurring ankle pain, and he laid out a few avenues we could go down, and listened to my feedback. He’s very friendly, and it was a good experience.
The only negative was the wait — I sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes, and then for another 45 in the exam room. For me, it was worth it — I want to go o a doctor I trust and have rapport with — but it was a lot of waiting. I recommend getting an early appointment — hopefully you won’t have to wait as long! (I was the last appointment of the day, I think).

Total waste of time.

Yikes, I cannot believe people would write anything negative about him. My experience was completely the opposite. In 2008 I went to him with a huge bunion. He was recommended to me by a fellow former ballerina. I honestly cannot recall how long I waited to see him or the friendliness of his staff, but all I can attest to is my bunion was shaved down nicely and I am in NO MORE PAIN! If only I had done the other foot too. So, if you’re looking for a bunionectomy, he’s your guy.

I should have stayed away from this office after a less-​than-​pleasant experience by phone. I called a couple times to schedule an appointment and often received voicemail.
Today, when I went in for my appointment, I waited several minutes before I was even acknowledged. Fifty minutes after my appointment time, I was still sitting in the exam room without being helped. When I went to the reception desk to see if I would be helped, the receptionist was unphased and said «well he’s running late».
On top of the poor service, the office is dirty. The records room has stuff piled all over and the exam room was visibily dirty. I was wholly unimpressed with my experience and will see another doctor in the future.

Rip off. Total waste of time.
I went to Dr. Lavine because of pain in my hands. Six office visits later, none of which lasted more than about 5 minutes, he didn’t have any idea. He seemed totally disinterested from the start and it felt like he was just stringing me along to charge me more. Sadly on top of that his office staff are pretty unhelpful.
Check the reviews on Google too. He’s just not a good doctor.
