10 years of service and overall very happy with quality of work. One or two damaged shirt buttons in a decade, as with any cleaner recommend you unbutton the shirts before sending in.

the worst dry cleaner in DC! very mean service and completely overcharged me. I never bother to write a Unilocal review for years. but this place pisses me off so much that I want to write this warning to any other customers!

I have been coming here for 1.5 years, sadly I just moved out of DC and already I miss this place hugely! M&A Cleaners is a great alternative for the Woodley Park resident who does not want to pay $ 20 for«organic» dry cleaning(whatever that means) on Connecticut Ave. A&M is just across the bridge, substantially cheaper, and open from 7 to 7 and on weekends for those of us who don’t always have predictable 9 to 5 work schedules! I also need to put in a good work for their tailoring… They do some of it in house and send it out the big alterations, and I have had great success with everything from getting pockets reinforced to getting an entire dress taken in. I have gotten designer dresses altered here, terrified that if one stitch goes wrong the dress will get ruined, and every time the dress looks in pristine condition(and even better on!) afterwards. One time I wanted an alteration redone(it was a bit too tight) and they redid the entire job for only $ 3 extra. I walked 10 – 15 minutes to get here and I never regretted it. Great service and quality!

Came in on a Friday to get a suit altered. ¾ inch taken in on each sides for 42 bucks. Seemed very high to me, but I went along with it. I come back on Tuesday when it is supposed to be done and I am informed that there’s been a mistake and no alterations have been made to it. Picked it up Wednesday night. It’s been taken in just fine, although the shoulders look a little weird now for whatever reason. The staff is friendly, but I can’t justify anything above one star based on price and late completion.

Great cleaners, great prices, and GREAT alterations. I don’t know what that other review is saying but these guys have regularly tailored my suits. They tailor them in-house(I know that because they have even given me same-day service), and they do a great job! I’m not sure what the price is but it is cheaper than Brook’s Brothers which is my alternative.

A bottle of olive oil broke in my lugguge and spilled all over everything. Cashmere, wool, silk, cotton, etc. They got everything out. The saved me thousands of dollars. Amazing.

I really wish I could give this place a higher score: the service is very fast and very friendly. The price is about average for the neighborhood. However, THEYSHRINKYOURCLOTHES!!! I’ve had this happen at a couple other places, but never as bad as at M&A Cleaners. I seriously thought my *ss put on ten pounds in the 3 days it took for them to clean my pants because when I got them back they no longer fit. It was the same story with my shirts, regardless of fabric. I had to toss a 2 pairs of pants and 3 blouses after they were done with them. But who knows… maybe I really did put on ten pounds in 3 days…

For the love of god, Unilocal! This place is called M & A, not MNA! How many times does a guy have to edit a business before it takes?

Dear Mna Cleaners, I recently bought an amazing white tuxedo jacket from a thrift store. Unfortunately it had some pretty nasty stains on it. Could have been anything from blood to chocolate. For all I know someone could have died in that jacket. Luckily I came to you for help. Somehow you removed every single stain and made the jacket look as good as new. I love you Mna Cleaners. –Chris

This cleaner is in a perfect location, and has the perfect hours for me. It’s open early enough(7am) so that I can drop off my stuff on the way to work, and it’s open late enough(7pm) to pick up my stuff after work. It’s even open on Saturdays, just in case the temptation for happy hour keeps me out later. My pants were perfectly pressed and my jacket didn’t have any dry cleaning chemical smells. Jacket and pants dry cleaned for about $ 12. Staff was extremely nice.
