When I moved to DC I was eager to find a good nail tech but instead I found a GREAT one! Nina is fabulous! The ultimate professional; she knows her stuff, she’s on time, and she’s so warm and welcoming! I pass 4 nail salons just going & coming from the Metro stations but I can’t imagine going to anyone but Nina!

Love coming to Nina for manicures and pedicures. She is the best nail tech I ever had. So convenient too since she is located on Barrack’s Row at Tracy & Company. And a reasonable price for a gel manicure. Usually lasts for 2 – 3 weeks.

I have followed Nina around Capitol Hill for at least the last 10 years wherever she has worked. Just like a hair stylist that you don’t want to lose. I am so happy for Nina, as well as myself, that she has her own space now. Besides being a great manicurist for regular manicures/​pedicures and gel manicures/​pedicures, she is always on time, she will always try to fit you in at the last minute if she can, she has a warm and engaging personality, and her prices are more than fair. I highly recommend Nina! You will very soon become a regular customer!

I moved to Capitol Hill in 2004 and a neighbor told me about Nina, who worked for someone else at the time. I have followed her to other places where she worked (you know, the kind where you walk in and are overcome by the smell of acrylics and they rush you out of there before your nails are dried), but Nina always took as much time as needed. I have difficult skin and her pedicures are incredible. Her ability to look at you and suggest colors are right on! Best all, she works by herself — YOU are her #1 when you are there. The shop is adorable — the only Victorian painted cottage on Capitol Hill, right next to the Fire Station on 8th Street, SE 1 block from Eastern Market Metro. Inside it’s calm and peaceful, pale lavender and pale lime green walls… it’s your own private oasis. And, she is LOVELY!

So happy that I’ve found Nina again! For those of you who do not know, she used to work at another nail salon and had numerous clients there, to include me. I’m very excited that she now has her own business and is still close by! She takes wonderful care of her clients, very professional and friendly, and always does a great job! I will definitely continue to schedule my nail and waxing appointments with her :).

There’s no other way to say it… Nina is FABULOUS! Every two weeks, without fail, Nina takes perfect care of me! I normally receive a pedicure and Nina is always ready for me when I arrive. She greets me with a smile and hug and always asks about my children. The consummate professional, Nina is always accommodating, genuinely kind, efficient and best of all — your satisfaction is her priority.
