This was my first time at Peace Lounge. For those that don’t know, the majority of people that are at Peace Lounge are Ethiopian. The environment is very laid back — there’s hookah and a bar and it was chill. No one was dancing until my friends and I were dancing though. I pictured it to be more live when we got there. Towards the end though, a majority of people were dancing, which was nice. I’ve given this place ⁴⁄₅ stars because 1) there is no menu whatsoever and 2) the drinks were pricey. My friend asked the bartender the price of well drinks and she said $ 13.99. The drinks were served in small glasses by the way (I could only imagine how much the hookah was!) We definitely did not pay for that. One major plus was the music — The DJ was on point! For those that love African music, this is the place to be because that is all they play. Overall, I had a good experience — the staff was extremely friendly! I’ll definitely be back again.

The drinks were strong, the hookah was smooth and our server muna was just fabulous! Not too overcrowded and the crowd is relaxed, minus the one drunk guy who took a tumble down the stairs, I hope you’re okay lol that looked painful! All in all, will definitely return

Peace lounge comes to you from the founders of Expo. Peace lounge offers amazing customer service and hookah of the BEST quality. The owner Betty is very hands on an ensures that all standards are met. It also has a great happy hour, $ 9.99 hookahs, top shelf alcohol is 2/$ 10, rail is 2/$ 7 and beer is 2/$ 5 all domestic beers. They also offer a wide varsity of music. On the weekend it’s a great dance spot. All in all I give this place a thumbs up! You will not be disappointed.
