Marginal pizza, pretty much Sbarro with less dough. I came here for a bite and bathroom break before taking the 5a bus to Dulles. They don’t let customers use bathroom even with a purchase. Avoid this place if you can.

Clean, fair prices, good pizza. Nothing overly exciting about the establishment or its pizza but it hit the spot all the same.

Good place for a slice. Fast service, pizza is thin, crispy just the way I like it. Not alot of room to sit down but the food is great

I was hopefully for the equivalent of McDonalds for Pizza when I entered Pizza Autentica. My experience fell short of that — my pizza seemed to be old, hopefully not more than a couple hours, but probably. I got two slices, one of plain cheese and the other had pepperoni and mushrooms. The cheese might warrant a Two Star, it was not awful — I ate the entire piece, I was very hungry. But the mushrooms on my second piece were awful. They tasted rubbery, maybe somewhat metallic, I felt like I was eating them out of a can. I hope I can avoid these guys in the future, it’s not a «safe» fast-food bet.

Customer service and friendliness could be better, but the pizza is decent(that’s what counts)– especially if you get there when it’s right from the oven. Nice place for a quick slice.

Staff was exceptionally rude. Seemed annoyed that we decided to come in. Pizza was barely mediocre. And they charged for refills. Strongly do not recommend.

You know I keep going back but it is never great. I get all excited to get a nice slice and pizza and it tastes ok going down. However I never feel good after. And I can eat stuff that would make a billy goat puke. There was a time I got their strombolis and there was uncooked dough in the middle. This happened two weeks in a row. The gave me another slice but if you are serving uncooked dough, give me a free slice, apologize and fire your cooks! If you are strapped for time and cash the cheese pizza is probably the safest. They have panini now and some lady said the chicken was good but I will roll up the street to a food truck or something.

After reading all the bad reviews I decided to give this place a chance and I feel I was right: you can’t trust most of the bad reviews. As somebody who has eaten a lot of NY pizza, I have to say this pizza is not bad. Obviously this is not even close to the taste of NY pizza but it’s not horrible. The sauce was good and the pie of the pizza was ok. My biggest grudge was with the cheese. It’s a bit of an odd taste from the usual mom and pop Italian pizza places. It’s also different, and perhaps a bit worse, than the cheese used in chained stores like Papa Johns(which is the one I like the most out of all the other franchises followed probably by Pizza Hut). That said, my 10 and 4 year-old children loved the pizza and ate more than one slice. They both loved the pizza despite the cheese. It’s a convenient place. Opened late. Fair service. Quick and inexpensive.

Guy behind the counter was the opposite of friendly. He actually seemed annoyed that I dropped in. Unfortunately there’s almost nothing else around so I stayed. I had a chicken and broccoli calzone. It was placed in the oven, New York pizzeria-style, just long enough to warm the bottom of the crust. I think the marinara was actually watered-down ketchup. Very very bland food. On the positive side, it was only $ 4.99. You get what you pay for here.

4 stars because of the size of restaurant. I’ve been multiple times and each time was great. The Stromboli are good, a little greasy. The pizza is good, very large portions. The Caesar salad is great, had mine with grilled chicken. The garlic knots are very yummy! Prices are reasonable.

The main thing this restaurant has going for it is that it is open when all its competition are closed on Sundays. It doesn’t matter how great the pizza tastes if any restaurants in walking distance are closed. Bottled water was $ 1.97 for a medium Deer Park. A well-deserved price for a temporary monopoly. As with any outdoor seating, non-smokers will want to make sure they are not sitting downwind of smokers but otherwise the experience could be okay. This restaurant could be renamed, «Bring us your hungry and thirsty, because we are open when no one else in walking distance is».

What a fail. I came at 1:20pm and there was a line staked up, not because there were a lot of people, but because they had no pizzas ready. Nothing. I got a cheese slice and they tried to charge the same price as a pepperoni slice because I was getting a combo, even though cheese is $ 0.50 cheaper on the menu. Still better than cafeteria pizza, but service stinks.

Definitely not GREAT pizza, but not bad either. It’s a little pricey for my wallet for pizza, but I’m used to northeast pizza stands with dollar slices and all that jazz the staff are all courteous, but the line during lunch time is ridiculous, and you’re lucky to get a seat outside if you get there early enough. Bottom line: OK pizza, Not super expensive, get there EARLY

It’s alright — not great but not awful either. For those who aren’t fans of greasy pizza, beware — this is as greasy as they come and the drippings of your giant slice will start to seep through your paper plate before you’re even seated to eat. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly, and the place is great for carryout — but if you plan to eat there, there is only outside seating.

Eh. It’ll do. Working in the culinary wasteland of L’Enfant Plaza, it’s hard to be picky. The pizza is mediocre but cheap. Let’s just say I don’t think this place would survive in a different location

I’ve been working at Capital Gallery for almost a year now and I keep waiting for someone to tell me about some magical food court that exists in the basement of one of the nearby buildings. I’m beginning to think that I’m never going to be privy to that information… I have a really bad cold, and I can’t taste much, but I get the gist of what this pizza’s about. It’s pretty similar to Sbarro’s or other pizza joints that you’d find in the mall. Two slices of cheese for $ 5 isn’t bad considering that DC Slices is selling theirs for $ 5 per slice. They have plenty of 2 person tables, but they’re all outside, and it’s FREEZING out there. It would be nice to move two or three tables inside, but then again, I went at 2:00 when there was nobody there and it sounds like it can get pretty crazy from 12 – 1.

The line alone made me skeptical. I know L’efant isn’t renowned for its food choices… so anything with a line might be decent. That’s no guarentee though. I waited in line for 15 minutes to get a stromboli, while my friend got a pizza slice. Not worth the wait, but still pretty decent. This place had pretty good pizza(the pepperoni was good and not especially over oily). The prices are okay($ 2.99 for a «jumbo» slice of pepperoni, $ 4something for a stromboli). The meat stromboli had way too much cheese and not enough sausage + pepperoni. Also, since the guys behind the counter are super busy, our order didn’t get to sit in the oven for very long and it was lukewarm. Congealed cheese = sad. Also sad that they use styrofoam cups these days, but I’m just an environmental dork from California. If I were to be really fair and compare it to everything else near l’efant, I would give it 3 stars. It’s obnoxiously loud door squeakiness(can we say wd40?), long line, and location/setup(past a security guard, behind a support beam, and it almost hits the nearest table) makes me knock it back down to two stars. And yet again, the lukewarmness of the meal didn’t help either.

The pizza looks and tastes like Michael Scott’s favorite place to get a slice when in New York — Sbarro’s. This may be a little cheaper, but not by much. If you like bacon, you have to get their works or supreme or whatever they call it. Otherwise, you are better off waiting until you get home, no matter where home is. Note that this place is in an office building and smokers congregate nearby.

Not the best pizza I have ever had and definitely not the worst. Generous slice sizes and LOTS of toppings… I had to eat my pizza with a knife and fork. Prices aren’t too bad $ 2.50 — $ 3.60 a slice and salads are about $ 4. The line was really long and service was a little scatterbrained but everyone in line seemed a little scatterbrained too. If you’ve been waiting in line for 25 minutes you should know what you want by the time its your turn. Only pizza place near my work so Ill probably come back but only during work hours.
