The is a horrendous location. I did a pick up order, was there in 20 minutes, and I had a larger order. I would have no problem waiting. Just wanted everything hot. The pizza was cold and the fries were barely cooked and soggy. The price they charge for the handful of boneless chicken pieces is a crime and to top ALLOF this off, it took them 2 weeks to process the purchase(at least mine). I wouldn’t have written this Unilocal review but just seeing that charge come through on my account when I ordered in the middle of September pushed me over the edge. Poorly managed location. The one that delivers to Silver Spring has much better quality food and management.

Unreal how these people are!!! We order so often and each time we order it’s like pulling teeth!!! The food is ok but nothing crazy. I like their steak and cheese when I want something bad for me, in a good way. Never again. I am breaking my fast and the guy is unbelievably rude and unhelpful. I really don’t know how to explain my experience just now but it SUCKED! You just lost a loyal customer and anyone I know. Unreal.

Worst 10 bucks ever spent. It was an extremely busy day at work so we Decided to call in an order to be delivery. I got 6 wings and fries and by the time they delivered us the food(3 blocks away) the fries were all soggy(thanks to the packaging) and plain, and my buffalo wings were way too sweet I couldn’t even eat it. I’m not gonna order again

Pizza boli’s is a great place to get a cheap pie. The pizza is much better the the near by Domino’s and Papa John’s. Its not quite as good as the near-by Peet apizza, but it beat is on value. The extra cheese with garlic is where its at, by the way.

If I could give less than one star, I would. I called hoping to order wings and the customer service was horrible. I asked the man to repeat what he said because I had no idea what he was saying and then he hung up on me! He was rude and just hung up! Never trying this place again.

When ordering online, I wrote out specific requests. One was to slice my white pizza into squares, which doesn’t seem like a big deal. Another was to include celery with my wings, which is typical, usually. Neither one of these requests was honored, and they didnt call to say they couldn’t do these things– they just ignored it. I understand maybe this isn’t ‘typical procedure’ but if you can’t accommodate a request, then tell the client. I paid for a product. Additionally, the pizza was so dry and greasy that I couldn’t even eat more than one slice. I usually get white pizza that is cheesy and rich. This was an utter disappointment. I won’t be ordering from them again.

Have ordered before and food has been good. Last night missed our request for peperoni on our cheese pizza and there was too much oil and vinegar on our Italian sub. Delivery was ok. Please get it right the next time.

Boring pizza, overpriced for the quality and need I add the driver’s put those of us who walk dogs or have kids at peril. And, they do sell pizza by the slice which a violation of their zoning which does not allow«drive-thru» style service. Of course if our friends at the ANC-3e weren’t in bed with the local businesses, they would require zoning enforcement officers to stop the practice. Yet, the real danger, is they seem to employ some of the most maniacal drivers I’ve ever seen – and that’s in an industry of uncaring drivers. They seem to think squealing tires in the neighborhood, double parking at choke points in the streets and intersections and worst of all they seem to think blowing their horn at a controlled intersection somehow suffices for stopping at a stop sign. Even slow and goes from these crazies would be refreshing. No thanks neighbors, I wish we would all boycott such dangers to the community. Thanks for reading, John Berchert,

So I ordered online, from my phone. I got the buy one, get one free, Monday special. I don’t generally order lots on my pizza, as i’m pretty sure pizza was meant to hold sauce and cheese. That’s it. But hey, you should try the crab, i hear it’s ok. I’ll wait until the girlfriend is around to let her judge that one. As she’s a crab fanatic. No joke. Anyway, for $ 13 I got a large peperoni, and a large extra cheese. They showed up in 40 minutes, which was shorter than the expected 45 the website said, and the delivery dude said«thanks». The sauce is ok, nothing crazy, the peperoni is a little thicker than i’m used to seeing on papa johns pizza. There’s plenty of cheese on the extra cheese pizza, and a good amount on the peperoni. There’s a good amount of peperoni on the peperoni pizza and a decent amount of sauce on both. The crust has more taste than papa johns, which surprises me. Overall, it’s good cheap pizza, that works for watching football and drinking beer with. Would you want it to impress anyone? Eff noooooo. Go to 2Amy’s or Besta if you want to impress someone with awesome pies. But, for standard delivery, working man’s pizza, this is good. And for $ 13 for two, this is A-ok. I’ll get it again for Monday Night Football.

Not even a $ 8.99 one topping deal makes this a good thing. I have foolishly returned here several times hoping that it would recreate my one good experience. They never put enough sauce or cheese or the one topping on the pizza. Basically, it is a doughy, flavorless and practically inedible«meal». I won’t be foolish again.

I loved Pizza Boli’s when I was in college. Unfortunately, I have ordered from this location twice, and both times have been unacceptable experiences. The first time, I ordered a pizza, a salad, and a side item for my apartment. It took over an hour to arrive. When I called Pizza Boli’s to check on the food, they asked if my address was«333 St» and I said, no, it’s «334 St.» I checked the confirmation email – it was NOT my mistake, I had entered my address correctly. They did not apologize, they did not give me a discount, and they did not call my provided cell phone number to ask if they had the correct address. So basically, they messed up my address, and if I hadn’t called, they would have just taken my money and not delivered the food. The food was good, though, so I foolishly tried again. I placed my order online. After an hour, I called the store to check on my order. I was informed that the website wasn’t working and«it wasn’t the store’s fault.» I had to tell them my order again, and I was told«they would try to make sure I wasn’t charged twice.» WHAT? You should be offering me free food at this point, not«trying not to charge me twice»! Even if the broken website wasn’t your fault, you just gave me absolute sh*t service(by accident, but still sh*t service), and again, would have taken my money without delivering the food if I hadn’t called! The website wasn’t working, but it sure as heck worked when it came to charging my credit card. They redeemed themselves by delivering the order within 20 minutes of my second call, but ordering pizza should not be such a stressful experience.

I was just at Pizza Bolis about 3 minutes ago. Because I’ve never been here before and I was in a hurry, I just asked the man at the cash register for a cold veggie sandwich. When he asked what I wanted on it, I said«whatever cold, fresh veggies you have.» Somehow, that translated to making me a hot, fried onion sandwich. This thing is tasteless, greasy, and as un-fresh as it could possibly be. VERY disappointed. How hard is it to just throw lettuce and tomato on a roll? Another negative: When i went in I asked if they took eaglebucks. They do, which is the only reason I bought a sandwich from them. Turned out the machine didn’t work and I had to pay credit anyway. I wouldn’t have even entered the store if I knew I would have to pay with credit and on top of it I got a gross sandwich :(

Pizza Boli’s has gotten worse. Used to be my go-to delivery place for pizza, sandwiches & wings. Within the last 5 or 6 months, I think they changed their pizza recipe, because it is now far worse than Domino’s or Papa John’s. Their pizza sauce used to be tasty and a bit spicy, now it’s just tasteless and bland. Their wings, now breaded, are atrociously soggy upon delivery. Now, their sandwiches/subs are still pretty good, but unfortunately the sandwich alone does not meet the delivery $ minimum. They have even switched their pizza boxes! They used to have brown pizza boxes with the Pizza Boli’s logo on it, but now they’ve switched to a generic white pizza box — corresponding with the decrease in pizza quality. Their drivers, however, are VERY friendly!

MONDAYMADNESS!!! PIZZABOGO!!! If its a Monday, and you order online, there’s a Monday Madness offer for buy one pizza and get one free(equal or lesser value). I got the new crab pizza and a mushroom pizza. I had no idea what to expect with the crab pizza, but I was pleasantly surprised. There were some good chunks of crab and tomatoes. The mushroom was a solid mushroom pizza. I’d probably stick with the thick crust vs. the thin crust. Also, my delivery came in about 30 minutes. I was totally satisfied!

Pizza Boli’s blew it tonight, Superbowl Sunday, one of their biggest nights of the year. For days, if not weeks, they’ve had a banner out front announcing large 2-topping pizza for $ 6.99. Around 6PM tonight I called to order it and they announced they were no longer running that special. Of all nights! I had been counting on this for days. As I was on my way to work, I had no time to call Dominos, which actually has better pizza. Why am I giving them two stars, instead of one? Because usually they’re better than this, and the young woman who answered the phone and gave me my pizza was very nice. But boo on them for now.

I’m going to echo what was said in the other 1-star review for this place just to show that their horrid, HORRID lack of management was not a one-time thing, and has forced me to never order from here again. First off, the pizza is nothing special. It’s slightly better than Dominos for more than just a slight increase in price. No thanks. There are plenty of better places in this area to order from. I ordered from Pizza Bolis on a weekend, when they were supposedly open til 3am or something. I called around 1am and asked if they’d be open for their regular hours that night(it was lightly snowing and I wanted to make sure). They said yes. At about 1:40am, I placed an order online and got a confirmation email. At 2:30am, I called the store to see where my pizza was. No answer. My next 3 calls were also never answered. I decided to bypass calling the local store the next day and instead wrote a polite yet disappointed email to the head management designated on their website. I never received a response from them. Thankfully my credit card was never charged and instead of demanding recourse in the form of shitty pizza, I’ve just decided to never order from here again. I’d strongly advise you to order from Besta Pizza for similarly-priced pizza. Besta’s is also much tastier, and I’ve never had a problem like this with them.

I’ve frequented Pizza Boli’s for quite some time now, and generally I’ve had nothing but the warmest praise for them. Like other reviewers have said, Pizza Boli’s does a fine job cooking their pizzas and delivering them in a timely manner. Unfortunately, due to the absolute audacity of one of their drivers, and the poor regard management shows their patrons, I have made up my mind to never order Boli’s again, and I am urging all of my friends to do so as well. Last night I ordered a pizza through Boli’s online portal. It arrived in about forty minutes, which is a bit longer than I’d like, but still close to standard pizza delivery time, so I’ve no complaints about that. When my driver arrived with my pizza, I found that I had only change to give as a tip. Considering change is legal tender, and has multiple functions(laundry, bus fare, changing it in for paper bills), I decided change would be an appropriate choice as a tip. After all, a tip *is* something extra for the driver; I’m not required to pay one at all. After I took my pizza I reached out to give the pizza delivery man his tip — he immediately threw it on the ground and ran off! So I was left in front of my building with his(very generous) tip rolling around on the ground. How incredible and infuriating! This driver should be pleased I was tipping him in the first place! But to throw it on the ground in front of me! Pizza Boli’s should be ashamed of this poor conduct on their behalf. I immediately dialed the Wisconsin Ave. location and spoke with their manager, telling him what happened and how shocked and appalled I was. The manager told me «there [wasn’t] much [he] could do», but that he would speak with the driver. I am not saying I am owed anything by Pizza Boli’s, they did deliver my pizza. But I was not even offered an apology. Even after I informed the manager I would never be ordering from Pizza Boli’s again, he just chuckled and let me know he would speak with his driver. This is almost as bad as the driver throwing his tip on the ground. So, needless to say, I will never order from Boli’s again. My roommates have agreed to never order from Boli’s again. There are plenty of pizza places in NWDC that I prefer anyway. I highly recommend Café Romeo’s. They have some of the best pizza in DC! Pizza Movers and Calzones is also just down the street. Hell, Dominos tastes similar to Boli’s and they’re at least courteous. I’m horrified at Pizza Boli’s disinterest in my dissatisfaction. I’l be bringing my business elsewhere from here on out.

I’m giving this the highest rating because it’s excellent for what it is. They know who you are when you call(the second time), they take the order quickly and efficiently, and bring you a hot pizza in a reasonable amount of time. Nice thick chewy crust. I also had the greek salad, which was pretty darn good. I don’t know about fancy offerings, and I’ve never been there in person.

Pizza done right. Whenever I’ve ordered, it’s always been fresh, hot, and on time, which would, alone vault it towards the top of my delivery pizza rankings. The taste is what gives Pizza Boli’s star #5, however. The standard pizza crust is quite tasty, and even better, their thin crust pizza is not the cardboardlike crust of a dominos or papa johns pizza-it is akin to the Papa Gino pizza, beloved by New Englanders. The toppings are fairly standard options but good. The standout topping is their chopped garlic, which really gives it a zing of flavor.(the standard garlic topping is substantial, so, if you only want a smidgeon, be sure to specify!) Tasty, fresh, and delivered within the window they give you when you call. What more could you ask for? :)
