Pizza Hut

Anywho lets get this thing started so I just posted a pic of the breadsticks I received in my big dinner box Lls plus an extra order of them I paid for Separately smh. I was so pissed I was just like u know I tried to be nice and let the young man know I wanted fresh not burned ones but nope in return after saying he switched them he went and put more disappointing sticks in the box and for my extra order. I really love the breadsticks here and was very upset at the kind of service and food I received after being a paying customer smh please if anybody can reach out to the manager please show them my pic and post please. Idk if I’ll ever order from this location again smh. Wish I could give no stars too Lls

This place never gets better. The delivery will never be on time. The food will never be like it is on tv or at other restaurants. You will think they will get better but they will not. Skip it. Go to the carryout– any carryout– instead!

I’m new to the area. Tuesday night pizza order took 85 minutes to arrive. Called the store 3 times, no answer, call just hangs up after several rings. I would give this place 0 stars if possible. Will never order from here again.

This Pizza Hut did not deliver my order correctly. When I called to complain, I was told that they could deliver the correct order 2 hours from then or I could bring the pizza back to the store and my money would be refunded. Both of these options we unacceptable so I asked to speak to a manager. I was put on hold for 15 minutes. The manager then offered to give me a $ 10 credit on an $ 18 order. I told her that was not a fair deal and she began to argue with me stating she could give me $ 2 only to cover just the up charge for the order but she is offering me $ 10 out of the goodness of her heart. I said that we work early in the morning, have already waited over an hour for the wrong order to be delivered to receiving a corrected order 2 hours from now is not an appropriate solution and nor is the $ 10 credit. She said she could get the correct order to us in an hour so I agreed to that at this point because I don’t want to keep arguing. Ugh! Since when does the customer take a financial loss or have to wait 3 hours for a meal when they order food!

Terrible customer service. Put you on hold and then don’t come back or just don’t answer the phone period. Avoid!

Still reliable and tasty. Nice fresh produce and good tomato sauce.

The worst. No joke, 3+ hours and they won’t pick up phone to cancel the order. I am going to call corporate and shut these guys down! I wonder if I should open a pizza place, maybe I can do a better job than these {#%#{]{#\[[!!

This place is absolutely terrible and should be shut down. 3 months of being placed on hold every time I call for at least 10 mins at a time. I always end up calling dominos or papa johns.

I wish I could give it Zero stars. This is the worst Pizza Hut in the country. You won’t get delivery for over an hour and a half (regardless of time) and the food comes cold. And they have forgotten parts of my order twice. I should’ve learned the first couple of times not to order from here.
I called to ask where my food was and I was put on hold for ten minutes.

This pizza hut is awful. Time estimates are completely off. My pizza was quoted to be delivered in 1:20 minutes. A long time but fine… I was willing to wait. 1 hour and 45 minutes past and still no pizza. Called them, they said it would be at least another 30 minutes before it left the store. So it would probably take another 15 minutes to come. Over an hour passed the estimated time is unacceptable. Over 2 hours for a pizza is absurd. Suffice to say I canceled my order and got Dominos instead.

The Tradition Continues
This place has been here since I was a young child. This place has sucked since I was a young child. This place has barely answered the phone since I was a young child. Im 29 years old now, & shocked this place is still running. If you’re not hip, u better get hip to this spot. This Pizza Hut is absolutely plan Z. That means if u don’t have any other option for a meal of your liking & your hungry as hell that night, then u try them out. I have had numerous personal friends that has worked at this location. I’ll tell u the truth, they don’t care. Its just a check to them. Lol The employment of their staff is like a revolving door. Hired-​quit Hired-​quit. So they don’t even have enough bodies to services a small area community, so they definitely struggle servicing a large business district in the heart of the city on Georgia ave.LLs. My last visit here, it took 11mins just for someone to come to the register to take orders. With the way Petworth is changing at a rapid pace, im taking all bets right now that this dump doesn’t last any longer past 2016. It’ll probably become a coffee or a tea shop by then. Could u imagine being asked for a tip after an hr-​45 min wait? Lol Thats when u should play that black/​white movie scene from home alone. «Im gonna give to the count of 10…» U kno the rest!

Ordered the Big Dinner Box. Food was delivered wrong and cold. The spinach was just thrown on top of the chicken pizza, the sausage pizza was dry, the chicken was breaded and hard should have been naked. Called back to the store, couldn’t get the manager on the phone. Girl who answered took the order and said they would send out another order. Less than 5 minutes later, manager called back to confirm the problem. Replacement order received 40 minutes later. This order had the wrong pizza and burnt cheese sticks. I called back and had to demand to speak to manager again. She said another order would be sent out. This order came 40 minutes later and was finally correct. Driver dropped of order and flew back down the steps without taking old order. I know Friday nights can be busy but that is no excuse for awful food being made and delivered. I wish there was another Pizza Hut in the area that delivers.

On Friday night I ordered 4 pizzas for a childrens birthday party for the following Saturday at 1pm. After calling 3 times back to back, someone finally answered, at which time it was 1:45 only to be told they were on the way. The party was over at 3pm… and guess what? No pizza. They offered me a credit to which I replied «you can credit me now or I can call the credit card company and have them credit me. They issued the credit straight away. Never again would i order from this place again. Just realized I’m supposed to give a rating… really…they have a star for beyond horrible service?

So disappointing. Ordered a pizza at 7pm, called to check on it at 8:15, was told it would be here in 20 minutes (which is pretty late to begin with) and then by the time it showed up it was nearly 9pm. The pizza was *cold* like it had been sitting out on a counter for an hour. I ordered the new special stuffed bacon crust pizza and received normal crust which would have been cheaper. Not to mention stuffed crust in general is not very exciting when it has been allowed to completely cool and solidify. No excuse.

I’ve read the horrible reviews and I think it’s worth a good one. I’ve ordered twice from this location since I moved to Petworth 2 months ago. The delivery came within 45 minutes the first time. The second time, I requested delivery and the employee told me the wait was up to two hours. I appreciated the info and opted to pick up and I had the pizza in 20 short minutes. My orders have both been correct and delicious :) the bulletproof glass is off-​putting but I’m glad there is decent pizza in the neighborhood.

What a terrible place. They delivered only part of the order. We called them and the driver came back… With a little more of our now-​cold order. We called again and asked for a refund. They told us they don’t do refunds. Never again.

Just walked out of this disgusting Pizza Hut. Rude lady worker. Filthy establishment. I’ve live in the are for over 20 years and the place has only gotten worse.

I usually only give things 3 stars if it was alright, but this place was not that good… I mean it wasn’t awful, but there was something was something wrong with the marinara sauce… It was waaay too salty, as if someone threw a jar of salt in the batch this morning… & then they forgot to cut the pizza… It want a big deal, but still…
This place wasn’t horrible… But I would not go back!

DO NOT order from here. My $ 10 dinner box took 1:45 to get to my apartment (5 blocks away) and arrived cold. Wish I had read Unilocal before I chose this location!

Delivery was awful. While they did initially arrive in the 30 minute time frame given, the delivery driver did not want to come inside. He instead tried to convince me to come out to his car to get it.
Once inside, he arrived with the wrong pizza. He was mad and upset. He commented that this has been happening to him all night. Which is ridiculous if true– how many wrongly delivered pizzas does it take before you check the order BEFORE you leave Pizza Hut? He left to go get my correct pizza. He arrived back 45 minutes later with cold pizza. At least he had some remorse and told me that I didn’t have to leave him a tip. Duh! Even by Pizza Hut standards this delivery service was pretty low… worst delivery ever.
