Pizza Hut

First of all I got my pizza and the bread was completely soggy because they put it directly on the card board. First time it was delivered driver didn’t feel the need to leave her vehicle. This place is horrible. I plan on writing in to Pizza Hut themselves

$ 4 delivery fee + tip made a large pizza and wings around $ 30.
The driver didn’t even bother to walk from his car to our front door. I literally had to walk to his car to get my pizza.
The pizza flipped over during the drive, it was a mess.
Pizza Butt.

Other reviews surprised me. I don’t have anything bad to say about this place. We usually carry out because we’re so close and want out pizza quicker than waiting for a bunch of deliveries :)
The pizza is always fresh, service over the phone and in person is always easy and quick.
Only reason I’m not giving a 5 is because of the presentation of the pizza. We got spinach and pepperoni but it looked like they put the spinach on last and wasn’t cooked in so we just get pepperoni now.
But it’s a pizza place without seating so you can’t expect too much, not sure about the delivery bc we get it and it’s always done in 15−20mins like they say over the phone.

The driver is just lazy and doesn’t deliver the pizza to your doorstep, make you pick it up in his car. Happen twice. Not gonna waste my time to order again. Pizza Hut is losing more customers than ever at this location.

Paul and Mohammed are the best! The food is always fresh and they are always professional, and friendly. You wont be let down choosing this place for dinner. They are always clean, fast, and fresh,

I am surprised that I had to give 2 stars instead of 5 stars. The customer service was great for more than 3 years until owners/​workers changed; the customer service did not go well.
Yesterday, I ordered a large pizza with pretzel crust via online for lunch break. I asked them to deliver it; I waited for more than an hour, so I finally contacted them. The worker apologized and said, «the driver did not show up for his shift, so I had to cancel your order. You will get your money back in 3 – 5 business days.» I suddenly asked him, «why you did not call me in advance?» He mumbled and the manager was not available to follow up with that situation.
Later, I finally reached the manager, Mohammed. Mohammed apologized and I accepted their offer, 1 free pizza. I told him that I will let him know when I am ready to pick it up.
Today, I decided to order it. Mohammed answered the phone and said, «I made your pizza last night and you did not pick it up at all!» I was puzzled and explained that I did not say I was going to pick it up. Mohammed said, «I am going to give you the discount, but not free pizza anymore because you did not pick it up last night!» I tried to explain that I will notify him when I am ready to pick it up.
That’s why I had to post this and contact the district. I hope Pizza Hut reads this review and follow up with me.

I have nothing original to say here. Just terrible. Dry wings, cold pizza, barely any toppings. Save your time and money and just get DiGiorno.

My experience today with the pizza hut at the Maryland Avenue location was terrible. I placed an order online at 7:30PM and was issued with an estimate wait time of 1 hour 30 mins. Even though that seemed long I waited in good faith hoping to get a meal that I’d enjoy. 9PM comes and my order has yet to be delivered. I call the store location and the associate tells me there are only two drivers and my order is in route. So I continue to wait. Another 45 minutes passes by and it is now 9:50PM and I call the store back to figure out where tf my order was. I called back and I wasn’t certain if I spoke with the same associate, and asked where my order was and explained this process was taking way to long especially if the driver was supposedly in route 45 minutes ago. I was then placed on a two minute hold that only further frustrated me. I them expressed my desire to cancel the order and asked if the guy was in route why hadn’t he shown yet. She then proceeds to tell me he’s leaving the store now with me order, would I still like to cancel.
This is poor management. WHY LIE when I first called? In the two hours I waited I could’ve cooked a full meal. TERRIBLE SERVICE. There is no reason to be short staffed and delay on a weekend with no major events taking place.
SO AGGREVATING.

I am normally not a Pizza Hut fan, but after seeing all the commercials on TV lately for the pretzel crust pizza I thought I would give it another try. Well this location was a mistake, pizza took 2 hours to arrive and was freezing when it got here. I understand it’s 14 degrees, but when the location is a mile from your apartment it shouldn’t arrive like that period. We also ordered chicken wings which were a joke one was the same size as a beer bottle cap and looked more like pigeon wings. When we called to speak to the manager he was rude and could do nothing, but give us a «voucher.» Will not be giving pizza hut another chance anytime soon and definitely not at this location!

Worst Pizza Hut ever.
Ordered twice from this locations.
First time was a 2−½ Hour wait and freezing cold pizza.
About two months later ordered again thinking it was a fluke last time.
Pizza arrived 3 hours after I placed the order! Ordered pizza at 5pm, didn’t arrive to my door until 8pm. Pizza arrived literally ice cold, like a frozen pizza. The tracker said the pizza had been done and cooked literally 2−½ hours before it arrived to me. Nasty.
I gave up after two hours of waiting around, drove to the grocery store, bought pizza dough/​sauce/​cheese/​pepperonis, drove home and made/​cooked my own pizza and ate it. And the pizza hut pizza still hadn’t arrived!
Do not make the mistake of ordering from here, you will be starving and regret it.
Not sure how you can be a professional delivery place and not be able to deliver pizzas in 45 minutes per the estimate Pizza Hut provides themselves. I mean how hard is it really?

One star is too many.
This experience was horrible. I don’t think the word «horrible» makes it sound awful enough. And they don’t even care– even worse. Ordered a pizza, they hung up on us after confirming the order, they never sent us the pizza. We called back two hours later and they didn’t give a rats patoot.
I am a real person– and this was a terrible experience. Order from ANYWHERE ELSE.

Tonight is the 2^nd time that this terrible place delivered our pizza 1.5 hours late. The first time, when the delivery lady got here she told us she had to pick up her kid first, so our pizza got to wait. They didn’t make us pay for it because it was so screwed up, so we thought we would try them again. Tonight I called three times to check on our pizza, each time being told it would be here in 5 minutes. 1 hour and 45 minutes later I called to cancel the order and the guy offered no explanation and said he would give me 4 dollars off!!! Completely unacceptable service, without exception. Where is corporate? Don’t you stand by your business reputation! I signed up for Unilocal just to write this review, that’s how bad this is.

Despite the bad reviews on this place, I had a good experience and figured I’d do my duty to add balance.
I called In my order 2 minutes before I walked in, upon arrival I only waited about 8 or 9 minutes before my pizza was ready and paid for. I left, and about 3 blocks away dropped the ENTIRE pizza face first on the ground. (a bad combination of wind and staring at pretty girls) I walked back to the hut, showed the manager a pic of the pizza I dropped, only to receive a laugh, and another pizza made even better than the first that I didn’t have to pay for.
It’s prudent to note that this small little Pizza Hut tucked away in what used to be hechinger mall is the busiest one in the entire area. Long wait times and dealing with heavy patronage is something this place suffers from, and should be taken into consideration when evaluating that aspect of the business. Given the good and bad, I give it 4 stars

If I could get away without putting any stars, I would definitely do so! THIS IS THE WORST PIZZA HUT THAT I HAVE EVER HAD THE DISPLEASURE OF DEALING WITH!!! I ordered a pizza at 6pm and at 8pm, the driver enters the building with someone elses order and not mine. I called the manager named Mohammed, only to have him act as if he had an attitude with me for calling. I will NEVER order from this PIZZA HUT again, and I will advise you not to do so as well! It’s now 8:45 pm and the second driver just left, leaving the pizza with me that I ORDERED TWO HOURS and FORTY-​FIVE MINUTES AGO!!! Really, this I think has been my worst experience in a long time!!! I will definitely be calling the District Manager and letting them now what terrible service this particular Pizza Hut offers. HORRIBLE!!!

Extremely poor delivery times. I placed a $ 35 order for my co-worker’s going away party at 11:35 and you’re telling me I have to wait 1 Hour and 45 minutes before I receive my order?
What’s wrong with you?

It is very unfortunate when a business has no integrity or take no pride in who they are and what they do. The joke this Pizza Hut services up is unheard of and why they are allowed to even use a key to open the door to an establishment is beyond me. After reading the reviews of others here on Unilocal,I understood I too was no one special. My experience last evening was so horrible; I waited a total of an hour in a half before I cancelled my order. In doing that, we could hear someone in the background shouting, «next time, don’t call us!» They took the words right out of my mouth! It is unfortunate that this one place makes the entire Pizza Hut organization look bad… And no, I won’t be calling Pizza Hut for anything; I work very hard to make the money I make and I will not give one penny of it to this franchise.

BAD EXPERIENCE (s)
I’ve ordered online in the past from this pizza hut. DON’T DO THAT! You’ll starve to death before the pizza comes; usually without any condiments, napkins or anything else thoughtful unless you ask and then it’s chance. I vowed never again for online ordering. 1 year later, I had pizza amnesia and ordered it in person while my wife went grocery shopping. The planets aligned and the pizza was made and handed to me 20 minutes later. Though itwas quick, they were out of 3 of the ingredients we wanted on the pizza and we both had upset digestive systems right after eating. I will make sure I rembember next time that this is one HORRIBLE pizza take out.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
I placed an on-​line order. After and hour I called to see how much longer it would be and no one answered the phone 5 times. When I finally got through they told me that it was leaving the store and would be there within 10 minutes. After another hour, still nothing. I called the store and again no one answered 3 times. When I got through finally, I was then placed on hold and then hung up on while they were «looking for my order». I even called the corporate number on the website and was told to just tell the delivery person I no longer wanted the order if I wasn’t interested. Bottom line the food never came and the employees were rude and not helpful. This is my second very bad experience with this store, so needless to say I will never order from here again.

This is the worst Pizza Hut Service I have ever experienced… over the past year I have had 4 horrible pizza deliveries… each one has taken at least 1.5 hours after ordering (longest was 2.5), this most recent situation we called to ask about the order after an hour and the employee said our order was out with the driver. 10 minutes later they call to tell us that the pizza hasn’t gone out because they are waiting on a few more pizzas… but they would be nice enough to deliver ours first!
You think we would have learned our lesson the first three times… Never again!

Worst pizza service ever.
Did not receive my pizza until 1 hour and 45 min after I ordered when they told me it would be 45 min-​1 hour.
When I called to ask about the pizza, I was placed on hold for 8 minutes and the employee did not apologize.
When my pizza arrived it was cold, not even warm.
I will never order pizza from here again.
