I like this potbelly location! It might help that they are very close to my job. I’m in here just about every day for breakfast. I love getting their oatmeal. Now mind you, I’ve detested oatmeal my whole life, but I decided to try it here one day(cranberries, walnuts, and brown sugar) and I’ve been hooked ever since. From time to time, I’ll switch it up and get a breakfast sandwich(for me, just egg and cheddar since I don’t eat pork and they have a turkey bacon or turkey sausage option). Danielle there is very friendly and I love her smile and energetic personality(especially early in the morning). I occasionally come in here for lunch but when I do, it’s ordered online to avoid long lines. My afternoon snack craving is satisfied by their delicious milkshakes(vanilla or coffee are my go to’s.) My co-worker highly recommends their smoothies, so I must give those a try one day!

My son and I bought a city sights voucher and went to the potbelly sandwich shop to redeem the voucher. I was told the voucher is good for $ 15 in food but that’s not what was true, I couldn’t get my salad, only a sandwich with the voucher. The man at the register didn’t know what to do and when the man next to him took over I explained what I was told by city sights tours. He was amazing and my son and I were able to eat a delicious lunch, thank you for being so understanding and awesome!

Awesome sandwiches and friendly staff. I would highly recommend pot bellys over subway or any other sandwich shop. Even though this is a chain, it had the feeling of being a small time sub shop and the employees really seemed to care about the customers and take pride in their product. This can be hard to find in the city at times without paying an arm and a leg for it.

Waited in line for 5 minutes just for a milkshake and saw the cashier letting people skip the line to order milkshakes. So I go up there and waited 15 minutes and after they gave the last guy in front of me go told me I would have to go back in line if I wanted one too. Like okay? Can you tell that to the last few people you let skip the line. A total waste of time and it was completely unfair. Of course i didnt go back in line. At this point I qas fed up with them. Never coming back.

I’m pretty much a regular at this particular location since they offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The staff know my order, and make every effort to be accommodating if they run short on something. I have noticed some personnel changes which I think have greatly improved the experience. I’m not happy about the recent price increase in the breakfast sandwiches. I mean they just had a price increase last year and now they’ve increased by another $ 0.25 this year. Unfortunately, this means I will have to cut back on my visits. All said — I would definitely recommend this location.

Stopped by for breakfast, the breakfast sandwich and oatmeal were okay, we didn’t see a reason to try again.

There was light rain and we didn’t want to walk too far from the hotel. Passed by this place several times. It was past 7 pm and they close at 8 so I was a bit hesitant about them accepting customers. But we saw people inside and walking in, so all was good! I had my eye on the«mushroom melt». It was delicious and my tummy was happy! I had the sour cream and New Orleans onion? potato chips by Zapps. My first time trying chip company. Not bad. My husband had the bbq pulled pork sandwich and thumbs up! He enjoyed it. Staff was friendly.

The manager here is terrible. He clearly has issues with minorities. It is evident in the way he speaks to his employees and to customers of color. I was in the restaurant today before the lunch rush and had to wait in line for 15 minutes. The manager offered the white person in front of me and the white person behind me a free soda and cookie because of the long wait. I waited a few seconds and then asked what about me, he responded«I don’t think so» Too many other options to ever return to this terrible place.

Had a good experience. Young lady in the front is always kind and friendly. Although i asked for no hot peppers, the guy managed to still put it on my sandwich but its all good. Other than that, everything was good.

Good place to grab a quick sandwich. And a good one at that. I got the Italian on wheat. Pretty good little spot. They had music going and it was busy but still got our sandwich in less than 5 min.

I hate how they close up so early during the week. Sometimes I can’t make it over to get something quick to eat and they’re closed by that time. You would think that they would stay open until maybe 7 or 8 like the other places, but maybe a lack of customers during those hours has made management shift the hours of operation. That’s understandable. What the heck? I know the feeling when you’re ready to leave from work. Other than that, the food has been phenomenal. I usually go for the tuna sub and broccoli and cheddar soup. Let me say that Potbelly has one of the best tuna subs I have ever had. The best tuna subs have only come from a few places in my opinion and this is one of the few. Now the tuna could use some more flaking during preparation, but other than that its very delicious. The broccoli and cheddar soup could stand to get a little more improvement, but it gets the job done. They have excellent customer service as well. They’re always nice and pleasant when taking your order.

Always fast and usually friendly. This is one of two Potbellys I frequent. The other one is on 11th. They serve breakfast there. This location does not. They frequently have live entertainment which is usually someone playing guitar and singing. I don’t really think it adds or detracts. Usually not here long enough. Good if you are short on time. The line(if there is one) goes really quickly.

Stopped by to grab a quick bite before catching a show at the Warner theatre. Can’t go wrong with Potbelly because their sandwiches are delicious! Ordered ‘the pizza’ which is basically a pepperoni pizza in sandwich form. Asked for hot peppers and those babies put my mouth on fire! Usually they aren’t that spicy but maybe ask for them on the side next time? Their oatmeal chocolate cookies are super yum but too full to order them… next time!

These are everywhere in DC but they’re nothing to write home about. This place is just a cross between a Subway/Lenny’s/Quiznos and a milkshake joint. It was definitely good, but nothing special. I liked that the place almost had a coffee shop feel, with chalkboard menus and yelled orders. The location I went to was clearly pretty busy, because the staff didn’t seem to have time to even make eye contact, but they were generally friendly and definitely efficient. I got a Skinny T and it was very flavorful and fresh. They also made me a chocolate milkshake with real ice cream, which was a nice treat. Again, nothing really to write home about, but still not bad. Not really a ‘foodie’ type of place, but great for a quick, tasty lunch!

Potbelly is a cool little lunch place for sandwiches in DC. The sandwiches themselves aren’t spectacular, but they are still yummy and perfect for a filling, to-go lunch. What’s cool about this place though is the décor. It’s decorated as a cool little dive.

Had an enjoyable lunch here before I went to nearby Madame Tussaud’s wax museum. The toasted 6 inch roast beef sandwich that I had was really very tasty and delicious indeed. Did not have to wait very long. If it was about 37 degrees warmer, my friend and I would have sat outside on the patio to have our lunch. The restaurant’s décor was super clean and well taken care of and maintained. :)

Just your basic sandwiches. Nothing out of this world but good if you’re in a hurry. I like the turkey or meatball the best and also be sure to try their smoothies. Also don’t forget to get a cookie with your sandwich. The chocolate chip is amazing.

My coworkers know I have a special place in my heart for a chicken salad sub from Potbelly’s(this is the only time I will ever consume mayo). Lucky for me, this spot is only a block from my office. The line is long during lunch, but this is Metro Center, so everywhere is going to be crowded. They have someone taking orders on an iPad long before you get to the counter, which makes the preparation faster. But you have to decide what you want very quickly – they take your order only a few minutes after you get in line. I like the hot peppers, even though they either give me a coughing attack or make me cry(I have a low tolerance for spice). Everyone working is really friendly. One time they messed up my order and gave me a free cookie. I wish they messed up my order more often! Potbelly’s is my go-to sandwich joint while I’m at work. And they’re open til 8 if you’re working late!
